No, is the short answer

I wont say 100% imposible .
But its 90% NO .
Try to get a smartphone to tether . A galaxy Y or xperia mini would be cheap option .

Can Lumia 710 be used as a WiFi hotspot for Nexus 7 ?

T_T thanks and why?

nexus 7 3g

Would 3g dongle work on nexus 7 ?
And if yes can any one make a simple guide to how to make it work
Would love to know how to get this work. Bump
Personally kind of doubt it.... Using a 3g/4g Wi-Fi hot spot works great though and you can share that with up to 5 devices, nothing to stick into the device and makes more sense than a single connection 3g dongle.

Nexus 7 to iPhone 4 with Bluetooth?

Hello all,
Has anyone found a way to connect the nexus 7 to a non-jailbreaked iPhone 4? I also looked at using WiFi but I do not have the wifi hotspot available on my phone. I even looked at using the new app DiscoRecorder but you need to have an adhoc network to use it.
Any suggestions?

Go to Cydia and install MyWi (commercial app)
A word of caution:
I've tested this setup on a iPhone 3GS and it works over bluetooth. I cannot positively say this will wotk on a iPhone 4, though I don't see why not. Being MyWi is a commercial app, please attempt this at your risk. And lastly, you do realize this is an unofficial tether, right?

If you want, you can try TetherMe first, it's cheaper.
I connected to a 3GS when it was set to hotspot, no jailbreak on the 3GS. Connected through BlueTooth.

The hotspot feature was enabled by your wireless carrier. That's an official tether.

Can't connect my tethered wifi to nexus 10

Hey there
I have a nokia e6, and i tethered my connection using joku spot-But the wifi doesn't show up on the nexus 10, my ipod and my laptop are able to detect it.
Please tell me whats wrong?
Sorry for creating threads again and again
I've had this happen on quite a few tethering apps on my Galaxy Prevail and my Nexus 10. I think it has to do with Ad-Hoc vs Infrastructure, with Ad-Hoc networks not being visible (which quite a few tethering apps use). I could be wrong though.
I use joku spot premium
Any one please
Please any one can help me
Bump to top!
I really need it

[q] kitkat4.4.4 hotspot & tethering problem samsung galaxy gt n7000

Hi All,
I have install Kitkat4.4.4 recently. Everything is working great.
But only the Hotspot & Tethering not working.
On the phone I enable hotspot & tethering and the Icon came on but other device can't see or detect the hotspot.
Samsung Galaxy Note GT N7000.
Anyone please help.
Thanks

bump
I had this issue with a wifi usb dongle & I had to go into the profile and manually add the device to have it be seen. But I couldn't get it to connect to that pc for some reason.
Its worked so far on the other 3 tablets I tested it on though. Are you using a cheap/ebay usb dongle by chance like I did and it wouldnt work?

I'm using N7000 too on the latest build. I can use tethering. Did you perform a clean wipe?

Thanks for the confirmation here... I can't find my Micro-SIM adapters anywhere so I haven't been able to test anything that requires a SIM in my N7000 lately.
(The 4210 family is probably going to be getting dropped with L due to lack of maintainers.)
