Hey Guys,
I've been looking for information on making transparent icons for the stock jellybean launcher but haven't had any luck - all the tuts I've found have been for the 3rd party launchers.
Is it possible to change an icon to a transparent one on the stock launcher?
If so, how would I do this?
Thanks

Hello Mods!
I am looking for 5 icon support in dock on STOCK LAUNCHER with everything same like 3x4 App drawer icons.
I just wanna know how do I edit some file to get one more icon in the dock. Thats it nothing else changed.
I tried some tweaked Touchwiz30 Launchers but they all have messed up the Drawer and Have aligned the apps alphabetically. I dont want that.
Please guide me.
With Respect.
I know you can change the icons but the choices available arent very good. I also cant stand that application launcher button. I like the stock launcher and have tried nova launcher but nova launcher doesn't have the transparant nav bar. I don't understand why the ATT version has different icons and in my opinion better looking icons. Im hoping for more themes in the future.
have you tried nova launcher with other themes?

Hey dear community.
Is there any way to change apps wallpaper background with customs ones?
My phone is rooted aswell.
Regards,
Kanakene.
I think you need to change the Launcher app - Nova, Apex or Holo for more customization
Android 6.0.1
Google Launcher
Material Theme from Samsung store applied
Some icons (gallery, phone, messages) appear as touch wiz icons and not as applied theme
I think themed icons from Sammy themes only work with touchwiz launcher. I use this excellent little app to change icons: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jy.iconchanger It changes the Icons on your screen by creating a shortcut but doesn't change it in the app drawer though.

thanks will have a look...
dunno, with Lollipop behaviour was erratic: recently for sure the icons were the themed ones at the beginning they were the samsung ones, but I am not sure what had changed to cause the switch from samsung to themed icons

Personally I'm waiting for CM 13 for our device (sigh!)
I have Nova installed but when I set the icons to system icons it won't use them.
I don't have any icon sets installed.
Any way to fix this?
Thanks.
If you don't have any other icons installed, and it's not using the system icons, what is it using?
Are the Samsung icons perhaps part of the Touchwiz launcher?
