Pandora Issues - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Need some help with Pandora as it's giving me fits. I'm running Paranoidandroid 1991 with the included kernel. When I install Pandora from the market everything seems fine. I launch the app, get the high data warning and click continue. It sits on the blue Pandora splash screen for a minute and then crashes with an error of "unfortunately Pandora has stopped". I've tried taking the .apk from my phone, put it in dropbox and download it from there to my N7 with the same result. I ran a logcat while attempting the above but it showed no activity. If anyone has any insight to getting this issue fixed, I'd greatly appreciate your help.
thanks!

I am running CNA 3.3.1. I just checked and Pandora is working fine for me. Have you tried running "fix permissions"?

Did you try changing the layout for pandora in paranoid settings to smallest value? 360px I believe, I'm not running PA at the moment but when I was running it that was the issue.

Onlive may not be around much longer. At least not in its current form.

They were bought out and put in a protective bankruptcy status that is similar to receivership. Their investors and the receiver/protector have huge vested interest in keeping onlive around. But settop boxes might go the way of the dodo.
Works for me

Did you change your dpi or put it into actual tablet mode? If so, you need either the modified play store apk or to change your dpi back to stock.

Weird Google Login Error Popping Up Regularly

The above pops up sometimes on its own, as well as generally when I get an alert for a new text or the like. But my Google Account is already synced and seems to be in working order for the apps that need it. And when I click through on the above to try and log in, nothing happens.
Any thoughts as to what is causing it, and how to fix it? Been having this issue for about a week now (which induced me to try and upgrade...was not pleased with the experience, so I reverted to my most recent backup, and the problem is thus still there.
I'm not running sac's rom, but I heard there is a fix for that error in the rom thread. Do a search for google sign in error in the rom thread.

From a computer check your Google account setting to verify that two factor authentication is turned off.

ubuntu dual boot installer

Has anyone tried this?
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/DualBootInstallation
I keep getting " missing update command" after it downloads ubuntu and goes to install.
Any ideas?
Same Problem on a Nexus 4 with 4.4.2
Any ideas?
I'm also experiencing this problem. Already tried to uncheck "latest version" and to select an older build version, but without success. Maybe there's an error in the Dual Boot app?
Same happened to me:

any solution?
Same error on Nexus 7 unfortunately - Seems to be related to the Android 4.4.2 version, perhaps SELinux?

That could be it, I suppose. You can use SELinuxModeChanger to disable it. I'm at work, I can't test it now.

Ah well, tried, failed, wasn't it -.-
It's got to be 4.4.2 related in some way, every person reporting the fault here and elsewhere is on 4.4.2
i've installed it with cm 10.2 . i wouldn't recommend though : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2592428
the first time i installed it was okay. storage wasn't read only and i moved a couple of my folders back to root but the second time it screwed everything up
your problem is listed here but there are people with 4.4 who have successfully installed it (proof)

It happened after I recently installed the most recent security update for June. It seems that the issue only happens with my home screen, my app drawer works fine all applications work fine, the phone works perfectly fine it's just the home screen that's all bugged out.
I've turned the phone on and off twice as far as troubleshooting goes and didn't solve anything.
Any clues on what to do and if you need any more info from me to troubleshoot it more. Thanks everybody
Clear cache and data for the home screen you are using, try a different home screen and see if you still have issues
