hi, can someone please upload the apk for the stock htc music player?
i have some wma files that my aosp player cant handle. ive tried winamp and it didnt work also. I am on poweramp but its only a trial version.
I would like a copy of the stock htc music player because ive lost mine. thank you

After I updated the ROM of my Vogue with the new ROM from Sprint, I noticed that my TCMP player would not work anymore. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still no head. But the same TCMP is working great on my DCD 3.0.4 on the Mogul.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you

I had the exact same problem, installed the recompiled version of TCPMP that the other guy linked for you and it works perfect. Plays .MP4/AAC files now too whereas the old one I had would choke on those. The recompiled version is now my one-and-only movie player for the Touch.
Anyone notice a serious lag and cannot play full scene with the revised version?
i have the official HTC WWE 6.1 and i can't get any vids to work on WMP (big suprise).
i tried to install TCPMP and no go... i also tried Core Player and neither could be installed.
help!! it USE to work on the original 6.0 ROM but now i can't get any media player to install and upgrade from WMP.
any help is absolutly welcomed and thanked!

Yup, official ROM WWE6.1 and I found this Core Player worked for me. Perhaps it will work on yours too.

The operating manual indicates that media player is able to play quite a number of video file formats, including AVI and WMV. However, my just simply dont and come out an error message that it does not recognise the file / format, especially when I tried with AVI. I tried with Mp4 instead and it works.
Anyone know why? Do I need to install any sort of encoder or driver? Or do I need to install other better player?
My choice is CorePlayer v1.1.1. build 1600.
Just need to enable under tools menu many video formats, then most of videos will be playing...

There is a flash bundle for tcpmp which plays .flv files nicely.
I can't remember where I downloaded it but its called FlashVideoBundle.cab (probably downloaded from here, try a search).

Can you play a video there? If you can, you have flash installed.
however the flash player is a big disappointment. It refuses to play a lot of content on the web.
