Remove Yellow Triangle - Crazy Method - Galaxy S II General

So thia is a true story
Last week I got drunk, once again, it was raining heavily and I was riding my little motor on a sloppy road with water up to half of the wheels (I live in Vietnam and tha is normal, 90% people use motors and the infrastructure is terrible).
Let's make it short, when I stopped by the gate, I forgot my bag was in front of my legs and it spinned around, dived into the water, spilled all of the stuff outside, including my Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Young. I was freaked out, though drunk I managed to pick them up, removed the battery immediately, I noticed the Galaxy Y was looking alright, but the S2's screen was flashing like a PC when the electricity goes out.
I got home, scared like hell, I went to youtube to find some guide, I managed to take my s2 apart, it was crazy since it was very well made and I thought I was going to break it. Same for the Galaxy Y.
I took a day to seperate all of the parts in front of a fan...when I got home the next night, I fixed all of them together, and boom they are all working fine like charm! Not only being surprised by that, the most crazy thing is that now I don't have the yellos triangle on my s2! I rooted my phone for a long time and never bothered having that yellow icon, but now it's gone! So that's the story of the one-and-the-only craziest way to remove the yellow triangle I ever know

Removing Cincinnati Bell logo

Has anyone managed to remove the ugly Cincinnati Bell decal logo off their vibrants? If so, how did you go about doing this?
LOL, I've seen that logo and its substantially more obnoxious than any other logo I've seen. I can't remember exactly but I think its up at the top alot like the T-Mobile logo is just ALOT BIGGER(a pic might help maybe?). If it is then I know the Otter Box case covers up that whole section. It will still be there but at least you won't have to look at it anymore. Good luck!
Hi very likely I will be getting Samsung vibrant what do you think of it

lol, Yup thats what I was thinking. I saw one in person once and that was the first thing I noticed, the gawd awful logo!
- have your tried some sort of paint thinner? maybe goo-gone? be careful tho
- seriously google "samsung vibrant otterbox" images, its a great case and it will cover that area completely.
I removed my CB logo with a razor blade and bit of patience.

Meh. It's harmless, and I've barely noticed it was there since I got my phone a couple months ago.
Why risk possibly damaging the phone or the gorilla glass?

Two reasons - the screen protector bubbles around it and two; everyone and their cousin asks you why there's a sticker on the front of your phone.
A co-worker removed his with his fingernail and a CreditCard.

Comes right off
... if you just use a little bit of isopropanol and a kimwipe (or if you don't have that, try using a non-scratch dish sponge)
Guess what it says underneath?!? T-mobile LOL
If it's just a decal, heat it up a little (leave it on your dash) and see if you can't get it off then. Several years ago I owned a small graphics company and we used this stuff called "Vinyl Up" to remove anything with an adhesive. It's very gentle and doesn't eat paint. That said, it's a little expensive in this context.

Dropped my note while cycling...

...and it survived like a boss. Only a small scratch on the back cover.
My iPhone had a much less drastic fall and was destroyed.
Also dropped my Note while cycling. The silicone case took all the shock so my Note is still in a perfect state.

haha, btw, i also like your survive like boss analogy!. but certainly my note is more lovely!!
my note fell twice already. once from a normal table down on the hard ceramic floor and once from the bed down on the wooden floor. not a scratch. having previously owned the HD2 i've come to expect that kind of endurance from a smartphone, and the note didn't dissapoint.
U guys r lucky. I dropped my note once and the top has a small chip. Heavy phone = larger impact

I was even more lucky. I was at a small rock koncert yesterday. And ive been jumping around as is custom for that kind of music. But sudden i get a feeling that im stepping on something. I look down and my foot is on my phone :S luckily not a single scratch. I have no idea how it survived this treatment :O

Answer to your first question "why do you have a smart phone?" is " what's it to you ??? and you said " i don't get it " and answer to that is " he doesn't need you to understand why he bought his galaxy note" as that is none of your frickin business.... HOPE YOU GET IT NOW....

Galaxy S3 Addiction Help

So im pretty new with the Galaxy S3 and android in general. After having this device for a few weeks, it has really messed up my schedule, mainly cause I use it way too much.
So heres my problem. Before I go to bed I use the phone to browse and play for a good 3 hours. Checking XDA, flashing roms, youtube, facebook and a google reader. I end up going to bed at 1 or 1:30 AM. Then I wake up at 8am too late to go to the gym and workout so instead I browse Google Reader (for my morning news) and next thing you know im reeeaaallyy late for work.
So im asking for your help. Is there an app that can disable most functionality or certain apps based on certain times? I know this is a bizzare thing to ask for, but knowing that the Android can do so many things after rooted Im sure its possible. I would be incredibly happy if this phone just would disable itself until I get to work or stop all apps besides phone and sms after like 10:00PM. Kind of like some hardcore parental controls.
I have even started setting alarms to remind me to sleep but even that is not working for me. Self control is hard when it becomes an addiction. Its been 3 weeks I feel like I need my life back. I had no problem going to sleep when all I had was a lousy BlackBerry.

This.... Is.... A... Joke right??? The best solution I can come up with is to take a long look at your life and determine what is more important to u..?? Or set an alarm for a specific time. Once it sounds just turn the brilliance that is the incomparable Galaxy SIII on it's face then if you feel an urge to glance at it more than sleep just think this specific thought. "Perrywinkle needs to tinkle, and Mrs. Claus married Christian Kringle." Idk why but it puts me to sleep and gives me good dreams!!

Stay away from drugs, alcohol and cigarettes.
With an addictive personality like yours the above three things will have you homeless in 3 days.
On a serious note, there is a great function already built in to the phones for this particular problem and its called the power button, best used in conjunction with some self control.
This genuinely sounds like a cry for help, but the thing is, you are asking to be saved from an inanimate object...

I guess its meant to be a joke.
I am addicted to Diablo 3 instead of S3 though
Im giving tasker a try today. Its not a joke and youre all right, i can simply shut off the device. Im not trolling either but sorry if my question is a waste of your time. But ok, perhaps this is the wrong forum to ask this sort of question. I think i may already have found my solution through tasker. Thanks everyone.
