Yes, I have mine pre-ordered from Amazon and will be taking the 30th off work to take delivery and play with my new toy. []

Define as good, personally I believe it's better. Hate HTC, worst battery out there and now they sealed it. Nahh thanks.

I will buy it when it's available on Verizon in the US. Like, the 1st day it's available!

I might when the price is down, whether the screen still retain all the issues from previous Samsung phones and with the news of upcoming Nexus devices, I'm waiting for now.

No pre-ordering yet, just waiting, but I will see what people think about it, and then consider buying it later.

Just bought an xperia S and already impressed with the S III, although i hate touchwiz as an experience from S and S II but i guess i'll give samsung another chance with the S III !!!

It's around 720 Australian dollars with shipping.
Since I'm an international customer I won't have to pay for VAT.

Nokia N9 16GB & 64GB on sale at Amazon

Don't knock it until you try it. Meego was and still is a pretty amazing little OS. It's really too bad Nokia abandoned it.

I m looking to buy new note 2 and because note 3 has been just released, I want to hear your opinion.
Will it be a price drop for older model anytime soon (1 month) or not?
At the moment I can get it from amazon (EU) for 425 eur.

For sure! Depending on your country the price tag is different. Here in Brazil it was costing 800 usd (incl taxes) some months ago and now its 600 usd it still somehow expensive but 200 usd off is always welcome, oh and for this price you have the option to pay in 10× of 60 usd, if you pay at once it would be even cheaper like 520 usd with discount.

Don't count on it. You will probably get the 7100 cheaper but the 7105?
Sometimes they cleverly let stock levels diminish, before release of the new model, to a level where demand actually outstrips supply hence higher prices.
Btw as you may guess from my name my previous Phone was an evo. There truly is no comparison between the two.

I paid 540 euros or 535, I forgot, in October of 2012. Right after it's release. It has only dropped 100 euros since then? Wow. Samsung loves to keep their devices up in price.
It will lower, but not more than another 15 euros or so. :-\ Sorry.
Look at the SGS2, still costs a hefty penny! Samsung wants you to see that it's not that big of a price difference from the SGS3 and buy that!

Keep an eye out on eBay, I picked up my N7105 for half the rrp price as it was 1 month old in mint condition with receipts.

Sadly, All samsung phone's price drop fast because they keep inventing new things S1 S2 S3 S4 , Note 1, Note 2,Note 3, Everytime they launch a new product, price of the previous model will drop.

I'd guess that note 2 won't drop as much as usual as note 3 is so expensive. ...
And not that much of an upgrade.

New Housing

I just wanted to show the community my Xperia Play, I had it for about 2 years before I dropped it on my bed and the screen cracked. Shortly afterward the main flex cable broke. So rather then trashing the phone I spent about 50 dollar to make it look and function brand new.
BTW it's not a Verizon AT&T I just chose the case because I liked how orange looks Also I don't think I've ever heard of anyone here that has an Orange Xperia Play

There were two additional colors for the UK market. A white and an orange coloring. And if your a Minecraft fan, they released a limited only Minecraft edition:
But yeah, your PLAY is looking good. I sold my VZ model last year and bought a prototype model.. that is now been replaced by a Nexus 5. I don't have the heart to sell my PLAY though.

Where did you get a prototype model? How is it different from a regular r800i (or a)?

Its an early AT&T model. With the standard all black and silver. Zero carrier branding. Bought it on eBay a year ago for $125 to use on T-Mobile. It came Sim unlocked and boot loader unlocked

I've also bought a Nexus 5 after a along use of the Xperia Play. Are there any hardware differences on the prototype model?

None that I could find after one year of use on that play ( almost 3 years total on a XP). Its just for geekness that I bought it. Another user here at one point had a xp proto from att but it was 4 weeks newer then mine. He had a slew of issues with hardware and software. Guessing its die to whatever att was doing with it from when mine was made to when his was made. But mine works perfectly. And works just like everyone else's again except for the prototype labeling. Plus at $125 it was a good price at the time and look almost brand new.

I bought this housing aswell the colour is sho nice ....ill put in on when i have time....I wonder how many still have their plays as main phone....i plan to use mine till it bites the dust or some real amazing tech comes along besides 4 quad cpu to run my flashlight app
