[Q] What ROM can i use for my Trophy?

I dont know what ROM to use in my Trophy from vodafone spain...
I already update in Zune with new vodafone update.

[Q] Backup stuff

Ok guys,
I just got an HD2 and before messing around with it, I'd like to know what to do to backup the entire firmware, so that, if it has to go to the guarantee I can restore it easily, and there won't be any questions asked by the store.

You do not have to do that. Just download the Stock ROM from your carriers Support site or the htc website if you have a unbranded device. Read about flashing from sd here. With this method Stock spl will also be restored.

I just bought a T-Mobile_LEO from a friend and I love it. I had to pay and get it unlocked because I only have an AT&T account. It's only three months old but I still wanna tweak it a bit but I don't know how yet. I have Cygwin, Oracle VM VirtualBox and HD2 Toolkit installed but I don't know how to save the original ROM.zip "C:\Cygwin\home\Owner\kitchen\original_update\put_rom_here_" or find the best compatible ROM to use on my phone. custom rom for alcatel ot980
please help me here....i root my phone and i delete orange map and all games but now i cant access anything on my phone..i have also mistakenly delete contactprovider.apk ..serviceprovder.
how can i get a custom rom for my devices (alcatel ot980) and how to install a custom rom on a phone that is now stock at booting....i can still access adb command. thanks

Doubts before flashing

Hi all, I have a Surround by at&t, but I'm italian so I want a rom with italian language (I can set to italian all but "Display language") for speech recognize. I have 2 doubts, please help me:
- Other languages (in this case Italian) are supported or whatever the language, speech recognition is only in English?
- I'm not sure about flashing process, I can't get how to avoid to half/full brick my phone, in that case I'll keep it as it is. I was thinking at this rom (I just want an Italian rom, possibly with tethering, if you think another rom would be better please let me know), and I looked at this but I'm scared of brick my phone.

Got 8773 but still no Internet Sharing

I have just received 8773 by using this guide (i.e. the Zune trick): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO0ZnoKXyqY
However I still don't get the Internet sharing on my phone.
- I am using an unbranded phone bought from Expansys in France.
- I am using a US windows live account, display interface is English.
- Running on Telenor network in Scandinavia - the operator says they don't block for internet sharing.

I have the same problem. You did not get Samsung OEM update yet. You need to do it manualy until it is officialy released, but the trick is, that you can't be 100% sure which one to take. By taking the wrong one, phone is bricked I guess.
I have downloaded :

I was having the same issue and I applied the cab update Booomy mentioned.
Worked like a charm.
the difference is that i have the Telus AU os version.

[Q] LG-E900 : debranding and updating to WP 7.8 ?

I see in the forum that it is possible to debrand my Orange WP 7.5 and to update it to WP 7.8.
For the moment, when I try to use to update my WP using latest Zune (4.8.2345.0), it says that my phone is up to date ; version : 7.10 (8107).
