Which rom is suitable?

Now i currently running GamerzRom V6.2. Kernel Semaphore. Can i flash to F1 rom or Cyanogen without flashing my kernel? Or need to flash other kernel?

When a new rom is installed ,
The default kernel of the rom is installed
so gamerzrom kernel will be deleted

What kernel are you using with lpy?

Just wondered what kernel people are using with lpy. I want to start flashing some theme zips etc but dont wanna brick. Are there any that work? And are they safe to flash zips etc

if u wanna risk the superbrick .. go ahead ... it doesnt matter what kernel u are using ... cwm flashing either wipe or install zip is not recommended at all

Isnt that just with the leaked/lpy kernels? I thought the ones written from source were safe?

u need to flash CF XXLPY kernel to get root and access to recovery mode right?

thats the way i achieve root from stock GB normally ... & LPY as well

Might flash the dafuq through pc odin then an see how it goes. Starting to annoy me not bein able to flash stuff lol

Flash custom kernel

HI,
I wanna flash other ics kernel for aokp for example dewswift1's kernel and find which one is best.
I'm not sure how I do it.
Do I have to flash boot.img from dewswift1's rom via fastboot?
Or something other way?

The kernel is the core of the OS which holds everything in place like the Android System

Flashing a kernel is where you add/modify/replace a kernel

Use simple language so we can understand you,flash a kernel which is suitable for your rom and you will get cwm

You have to flash a kernel with cwm integrated via Odin on your pc
