Are there any launchers which have the sense 3.5’s rotating carousal effect? (The effect you get when you unlock the phone and the transition effect when slide between screens ), also are there any clock widgets which act like the htc shortcuts and clock widget ? thanks in advance (i wanna recreate these elements of the newwer sense versions )

This is probably a stupid question but i can't seem to get the the weather animation on my tilt 2, all i want is the weather animation on the today screen?

There is no cab for it...Its part of the Sense UI.
I know it exist in Sense 2.5 but not sure about Sense 2.1.
Any ROMs you flash with Sense 2.5 in it will have it already.
so there are no standalone apps like that or something similar?

Nope...This is built in Manila/Sense 2.5 feature.
Sense 2.1 has the Weather clock, but not all the animation on the screen.
Flash a 2.5 ROM.

That picture is the weather tab, not the Today screen.

i like sense but not their entire theme. is it possible to extract sense widgets just like the clock and animation widget, calendars, on and off switches etc, by keeping sense out of the system.
If not, will this be possible in the future or has been done with other device just like the hero after getting the kenel?.

No and it was never done on the Hero. Those widgets are dependent on the sense framework to run.
There is a widget called Fancy Widget that is an exact replica of the Sense Weather Clock sans badass fullscreen weather animations on unlock.

Is a post of a guy who wanted the 4G htc widget without sense and made it work, so i believe anything is possible.

please try beautiful widget or fancy widget...working perfect in my cm7 rc2 htc desire just install the apk...move in to phone storage and then in the home screen tap and go for selecting widgets then try fancy home ...you can even download the clock screen and weather screen themes directly from fancy widget options....

I don´t know what Sense 3 is, I thought there is only one sense theme.
If you want this, then use Floyo or CM6 1.0.2 and install Floyo theme (it´s almost the same as sense theme)
If you want the weather widget, you either download Fancy widget (it´s nearly the same and included in Floyo) or you ask someone with a rooted HTC phone to upload it for you.
No it's not possible because it needs 1.2 GHz cpu and we only have 600-748MHz...
and sense widgets need sense framework to run...so you could use sense like widgets which are mention in the post above!

Just found the cool animating weather widget and the lock screen, was really impressed with it....Just see the video with name "HTC Sense 3.0 UI demo on the HTC Sensation" in youtube.....

That is really sad to hear....I was thinking of getting the small part from sense 3 (the widget and lock screen)...anyway thank you for the information...

The difference:
HTC Salsa's: NO Weather lockscreen, photo lockscreen etc. Only the simple lockscreen with shortcuts and ring.

dont be sad, if you are using stock kernel, there is a ROM called X8 sense v01, flash and have the HTC UI and Vibration and Data\3G wont work... i have tried it and its beautiful.

There you go =) you should also give swagstr's sos x rom a try. Its somewhat themed to sense 4.0 with that clock
