Blue Screen - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

I try to install new rom but by mistake format some partitions and now my device just show blue screen what should I do?

Blue screen
Am in the same mess formated everything,now i have the blue screen after 3second of ideos logo. been reading all nite came across this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1138673.html .I have copy paste the following from xda ;
What happens if you press and hold Vol+,Vol- and Power?
Can you still get into Bootloader?
Bluescreen usually wipes the Bootloader, but you can fix that if you can still access it...
In case you lost all the data in Bootloader (pink screen), format the partition with FAT32, create a folder called "image" and copy the following files on there.
EMMCBOOT - http://www.mediafire.com/?lb6ifvgk72iru4a
AMSS.MBN - http://www.mediafire.com/?d6r45q6p5gew59v
Recovery.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?57njygc8oianjac
Boot.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?6d5i0714a7o9z97
If you can't access the Bootloader (pink screen), I'm afraid it's going back to warranty.

Bootloader formatted

HI guys,
I accidentally formatted my boot partition and now my X5 won't start up.
What I need is the structure of the bootloader.
MEaning when i put phone into bootloader mode (purple screen - Vol+ and Vol- while holding power) the file system is blank, so i need 4 files:
boot.img
recovery.img
amss.msn
emmcboot.mbn
Also I need to know what folder they are meant to be placed in.
So if someone could put their X5 into bootloader mode and copy+zip the folder and upload it, I would be extremely thankful so I can get my phone alive again
Thank you
For what rom?
the boot.img is different for each ROM (B136, B137, Gingerbread etc) so I can't give you that, while I can give upload the other 3 files for you.
But with the 3 files, it should mean you can do a backup and reinstall your rom, then restore.
it is actually a MIUI rom, with 2.3.4 i think, and yes i will restore back, i just want some functionality to my phone

Thank you so much. You are akin to God, in my eyes.

Format that bootloader as FAT32, create a folder called "image" and put these files there:
EMMCBOOT - http://www.mediafire.com/?lb6ifvgk72iru4a
AMSS.MBN - http://www.mediafire.com/?d6r45q6p5gew59v
Recovery.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?57njygc8oianjac
Boot.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?6d5i0714a7o9z97
Take the battery out once you've copied everything. Hold Power and Vol+ to boot in CWM. Once you're there just connect the usb cable and mount the sdcard. Now you should be able to copy whatever custom rom to the SD card and then flash it.

I have a question, If I format the Booloader of my mtk 6582, could I flash a new bootloader, If I do manually for example, erases from (0x0000000000000000 to 0x0000000000c00000) >> (bootloader to begin of mbr)... Then could I flash my bootloader backup?
The problem is that spflash tools says "PTM changed for the ROM: It must be downloaded." but I want not format /system either /data ..... I've try do manually format (except bootloader, system and data) but the problem is not solved .... Can some one help me?

is that all im missing?
boot logo in your phone is erased.
you can recover it using:
1. fastboot
moto-fastboot flash logo logo.bin
info about boot logo
2. RSDlite and stock SBF, but all user data will be erased!
99% your PDS partition is lost, you need to restore, if you don't have your pds backup, you can use universal pdsfix from pds partition fix
?!may need to flash with fastboot system.img & boot.img from the firmware that was on the phone for normal booting
If done carefully the user data will not be removed!
Lol this happened to me a while back, PDS was shot, my boot logo is still corrupted gotta fix that soon. Just get the PDS fix and you should be good. Yeah you probably partitioned and formated your internal SD
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
ok here is what i did to fix my pds.img
i took an hour to sign into google cause the touchscreen is boarked (use early usb enumeration to boot up then go into market (to do this use short cut on main screen (cause app drawer doesnt open then download rom manager and install it
then hardpress main screen pull up rom manager wiget use it (the free version to flash atrix recovery then enter recovery
ether through the app or power down volume then flash romracers recovery (from sdcard then enter advanced restore options flash pds. img then if you want flash whole nandroid backup but, first flash pds.img and reboot then reflash a rom good as new ! trust me it works

Deleted the original pink screen files

Hi guys!
My first tread on this forum, but not the last
I've been so stupid, because i have deleted the original pink screen files (recovery and the 3others in the image folder).
What should i do? Would like to try the official release of 2.3.5, but the phone wont see the update file =/
any tips? Thanks!
If you have 2.2 copy the files back on the phone If you dont have a backup you can find here

During the installation of the Stock Roms the recovery.img and boot.img files get replaced/modified and that's why your phone gets stuck at the Huawei logo.
Try the following:
Boot the phone in Bootloader (pink screen) by holding Vol+, Vol- and Power, format the partition with FAT32, create a folder called "image" and copy the following files on there.
EMMCBOOT - http://www.mediafire.com/?lb6ifvgk72iru4a
AMSS.MBN - http://www.mediafire.com/?d6r45q6p5gew59v
Recovery.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?57njygc8oianjac
Boot.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?6d5i0714a7o9z97
Once the files are copied, just disconnect the USB cable and remove the battery. Then boot into Recovery by pressing the Vol+ and Power. If you manage to get into CWM Recovery, then it's all good, you can install a custom Rom like Oxygen (
https://sourceforge.net/projects/u8800oxygen/files/ ) by selecting "install zip from SD Card" option.
You'll probably have to use the MOUNT functions within the Recovery to transfer the Oxygen.zip file to your root folder of the SD Card.

Found out the problem! Had forgotten to format the fat disc in pink mode!
If you have lost your pink screen files, you can search them on the net, I think you ll find them easily

" x " appears on the screen

Malfunction " x " appears on the screen !! help me what is going on
Haha... you'll need more information than that if you want real help.
Based on the limited information though I suspect your phone is stuck in a bootloop. I'd hook it up to the PC via USB and check the logcat. Probably something screwed up.. Maybe time to restore your latest backup.
Did you flash any ROM if so, did you clean your Dalvic+REgular Cache
If you don't have an Recovery:
- Connect your Micro SD on PC
- Download and insert on SD the stock ROM of your Nexus One
- Power ON your Nexus with Volume Down Pressed.
- Autmotically Restore Nexus (You should say Yes xD)
At this time, you decide if you want to be root and install other ROM
you better just list your setup info before doing anything
locked/unlocked bootloader
rooted/unrooted
which recovery are you using
what rom are you running stock/custom
what were you doing when this happened
a couple safe things you can do in meantime is to pull battery and reinsert and power on
if it goes back to X, pull battery and DO NOT power on. Hold down the pwr button and trackball at same time and see if you can get into recovery
the third is hold down trackball/vol-/power at same time while X is on screen and see if you can get to recovery that way
if you can't get to recovery you will need to fastboot new recovery, assuming you are unlocked
once you get into recovery do a nandroid if you are rooted
and copy it to pc as a secondary backup
it is possible you may need to try the passimg method in wiki
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Nexus_One/Guides_&_Tutorials#Unroot_.2F_Restore_your_Nexus
also to do fastboot commands you need usb debugging selected on phone--hope it is
Hello, i have a similar problem with my n1
the phone starts and just shows the nexus X - (waited for 15 min. nothing happend)
i can go to the bootloader / fastboot menu with PWR + (Vol-) but i can not go to the recovery mode. -> the phone reboots and get stuck at the X
the phone is rooted
blackrose / hboot 7.35.5017
radio 5.12.00.08
recovery was ext4
i had a german ics miui rom installed and tryed to install the latest ics miui us rom after it didn't booted the miui us rom i turned the phone off and tryed a few hours later to turn it on to reflash the german ics miui rom.
1.)
i tryed to install a new recovery image ->
recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-passion &
recovery-RA-passion-v2.2.1
(still get stuck at the X if i try to go to recovery mode)
2.)
i tryed this one with the passimg.zip but nothing happens if i put in the sd card :/
(with nothing i mean the green text show that the sd card is checking for PASSDIAG.zip and PASSIMG.zip but dosn't found it)
i also tryed:
3.)
erased boot
flash boot from passimg.zip (PASSIMG_Passion_Google_WWE_2.18.1700.1_FRG83_release_signed)
4.)
erased cache
erased userdata
started again with 1.)
5.)
got frustrated and erased system -.-
any ideas?
study it ,thank you
study it ,thank you
Hmm, sorry if its obvious but i have no idea what it could be or what i have to search to find the solution. Would be nice if you could give me a hint. Of course im not asking for a step by step solution. Thank you.
Send from my awesome SE K800i
not sure why you are flashing boot images
do you have a nandroid--copy your sdcard with the nandroid to pc--all of sdcard
are you flashing thru fastboot in command window
did you read my post above on getting to the fastboot screen--can you do that--the one with the 3 androids
pwr/vol-/trackball same time, may take 20-30 seconds
if you can get there, put your recovery image in your fastboot folder on pc, normally tools--assuming you have sdk installed, your phone must have usb debugging checked--I hope
open a command window and change directory to the tools folder or wherever the fastboot.exe file is. Something like:
cd/
cd/ android/android-sdk-windows/tools for me
then on same line type
fastboot devices (it should show your phone H#)
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (or the exact name of the recovery image, checked by right clicking on the img file in your tools folder and looking under properties)
I would use amonra you listed above and check the md5 if possible
hopefully the recovery will flash
if not you can go to the wiki link i posted above and try passimg metthod from there, use correct one. don't add the .zip. Windows will had it automatically.
a side note, DON"T flash different roms without wiping all including System 3 times before flashing--prevents a lot of problems

nova plus mla l03 done screwed up (brick af)

sooo yesterday I thought id be smart and try install an ota while rooted using flashify I obviously ignored the warning as if nothing bad could happen well it seems flashify went ahead and screwed me over i was trying to fix my mistake because flashify deleted the os so yay no os ok easy fix boot into fastboot downloaded this firm MLA-L03C6540B300CUSTC654D001 after download it i did a bit of playing around in twrp first and noticed system, cust, data, cache were not accesible so i went ahead formatted system i could now mount the system in the mount settings so forward i went with cache and now cache was mountable i could not get cust or data to mount or even be selectable and it read data as 0 bytes so i went ahead deleted the cust folder and the data folder and well now they dont exist wich i belive enlies my new issue i can now boot into fastboot i have replaced twrp with stock recovery extracted from update.app i then went ahead flashed system.img and boot.img using fastboot so recovery works i can get into it but I'm now in a boot loop with some weird ass Huawei symbols instead of the standered red one and it just shoves me into erocvery any help plz?
I did something pretty similar to you and I'm still stuck with my MLA-L03 bricked since a few weeks now...
Few conclusion about the thousand things I've tried:
-With fastboot I could not access cache or data to wipe them even if my bootloader is unlocked.
-I flashed the recovery.img, boot.img and system.img from all MLA-L03 images released from huawei without error but booting to the os still fail
-I can flash and boot or sideload TWRP. It looks like it function with root privileges and I can mount partitions as rw with no error but it does even if still format or wipe them, nothing really changes. Also, I can't access the user data partition. Maybe the fact that I had a finger-locked password encrypted that partition and now I can't even mount, wipe or format it even with root privileges.
So yea I'm stuck now...
As a last note I want to say that a normal boot sequence look like this:
-Show the unlocked bootloader screen with orange text
-Show Huawei logo animation
-Show lock screen
...and my phone currently does that
-Show the unlocked bootloader screen with orange text
-Show Huawei logo animation
-Shuts off and restart
I wish you luck and I'll try to find my notes so I can post more info and maybe someone will understand something out of this mess.

Soooo I fixed this haha how you may ask? 2 days of nothing but time so heres how I did it
Step 1. I downloaded this firmware from boycracked L03C6540B300CUSTC654D001
Step 2. I then extracted the update.app from the zip
Step 3. Using the huawei firmware extracted I extracted recovery boot and system img
Step 4. I then procedeaded to flash them using fast boot did a factory reset and well that didnt work I was still boot looping away
Step 5. Flashed twrp and noticed /system/data /cache were now all mountable only un mountable was cust
Step 5. I then re flashed the stock recovery Wich we extracted earlier after that I put the update.app on a 64gb sandisk micro SD card (one of the high end ones) in a folder called dload
Step 6. Proceed to start phone by holding all3 buttons down
Step 7. The update. App flashed fully in stock recovery and phone started was now in android 7 emui 5
Boot loader was relocked and phone is working great again

Holy ****! Really! I think I did not execute all the steps you did in this particular order so there is a chance that it works with my case also.

I had a problem with mine too.
I used the extract tool, but found the firmware using google. Think I typed Huawei nova plus recovery.img rogers (carrier phone was from), and was led to a page I could get 2 .zip files.
I downloaded the update.zip file, then extracted to a folder on my desktop. I used the Huawei firmware extract tool on the update.app file in that folder. I extracted BOOT, RECOVERY, SYSTEM.
I then used fastboot to flash them to the phone. After that I rebooted holding the power and vol+, vol- buttons together. And system restore started. It looked like it was freezing at 5 percent but just leave it do it's thing, go for a coffee. When I came back the phone was in Huawei setup and ready to use again.
fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img
fastboot flash boot BOOT.img
fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img
fastboot reboot
were commands I used.
(these commands only work if you copy the BOOT, SYSTEM and RECOVERY.img files into same directory as fastboot)
Everything is running like normal now.
