My nexus one won't boot into the rom ibtibrecovery or boot loader help
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda app-developers app

In order for us to help you, you need to provide more details, just try to erase everything using fastboot then reflash everything:
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
Fastboot erase boot
Fastboot erase recovery
Note:you will need a rom image and a recovery image

I can't boot to fastboot
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda app-developers app

Not even fastboot? Wow, never heard of that, you will need a JTAG operation to get the system running, this will need JTAG equipment and equipment to take the N1 apart

Where can I get jtag equpment

Is it really necessary to have 2 threads for the same thing?

What was done to actually lead to this problem? That may help in deciphering what went wrong

Green light on USB indicates a dead battery iirc. Have you tried charging it?

Connect usb flashing green light, connect the charger Chang Liang green light
I am not sure what led to it, but when I did power off and down and then again after reboot, I couldn't fast boot even in the menu, but when I power cycled with all three and the held them all again really quick, I came to the same menu...and fast boot worked...I don't know if that makes sense...
Let me know!

If you can access fast boot, you're not hard bricked. I would try the standard rsdlite or matt's utility.

Yeah I get that, I'm just wondering if he really is hard bricked because I was trying to access via one method, but actually got to it a different way which seems weird.

Re-locking bootloader?

Hey guys,
I have TWRP set up and rooted but I hate that little open lock icon when I boot up the phone.
If I relock the bootloader will I still be able to flash mods/roms etc since I have TWRP installed?
Thanks in advance!
Without stock when you relock it will just keep booting back into the bootloader instead of android

So it won't boot into bootloader the whole time or will it?

Well I guess I care. Not only because it's irritating but also to get warranty back.

With a custom recovery. Relocking the bootloader should cause the device to fail to boot.
It doesn't matter if you still have a stock rom.
It will fail the locked checks and put you straight into the bootloader
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
just revert to stock with original recovery if worried about it since you cant lock it on custom firmware
Okay thank I know enough, will just let the unlocked lock icon show.

Phone not booting after stock flash

Having a bit of bother getting my nexus up and running again. Pulled my phone out my pocket and it was turned off. Powered it on but it wouldn't get past Google screen. No twrp recovery. Nothing. So done the usual and get nexus toolkit out. Re locked and unlocked bootloader. Downloaded stock 4.2.2 flashed it but still stuck at Google screen. Can get in to fast boot but that's it.
Any help appreciated because I'm not sure what to do next
Cheers
Steven

Try going into fastboot, and flashing stock with the official firmware from google (Type Nexus stock on Google). If you want to, you can even replace the recovery.img inside the zip for a custom recovery

Been installing stock from fastboot but can't get into recovery to wipe it so that it will boot.
What program can I use to compress tgz files. I've changed the recovery to twrp but not sure how to pack it up again

If you know how to use the ADB and the fastboot command, that is the way to go. It is by far the best way to go. Use one of the guides on this website, don't have the direct link but look for efrants guide for returning back to stock. Search isn't working now

Lost my internal storage

So I rooted and lost half my internal storage ... If I flash a ROM and then flash the stock recovery wipe cache and factory reset should I be able to get my memory back ?

So you have a 32gb device but you only have 16 now? You didn't reboot after you unlocked the bootloader did you? A factory reset in the stock recovery should fix that
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727
why flash a new rom? did you already tried to just factory reset?
