Hi, I bought the x10 a month ago and I would like to operate a Flash Player, if anyone could advise me if I have to install the android 2.2 or later, or is there a way to work on 2.1. If so, what I need, if not, how do I select a ROM to upload, because I see that there are several on this forum. If I have to upload the new ROM, then please tell me what stops me working. I heard that the camera stops working. Please advice

You need to move to 2.2 or uper ver for using flash player.
yes, there are so many ROM...but i think Z's rom is better....not sure....plz check under dev section....
Hi cyberghost if you want to have a flash support on your device you need to upgrade to 2.2 but there is no working hd recording on 2.2 beta4, but video illusion works but not in hd. Its up to you to decide flash with no hd recording or just stay on stock rom of s.e.
Couldn't some of the improvements found in 2.2+, like flash, be made to work on 2.1? I know that some of the things 2.2 were already made to work on 2.1, such as voice search and multi updates from the market.
Hello.
I want to intall a new rom on my htc wildfire. I currently use stock.
Can someone recommend a custom rom?
If something goes wrong, how can I get back to the original rom ?
Hello and welcome to the wider world of android
what you need to do is follow this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1145035&highlight=how+to+s-off+hboot+1.01.002 aand i personally recommend cyanogenmod 7 but you can always try a sense based rom if you come to miss it
good luck sir!
oh, and to get back to stock just flash a ruu from shipped roms. com
for me the best is CM7
Make a nandroid backup for tht..
U can flash a sense rom if u wnt the sense feature nd graphics coz sense has bst ui..
Bt if u want performnce..cm7 wil be best for u..
Good luck..
Areeb for htc wildfire
i recently flashed this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1140839 on a Green Lens Defy,... Everything works fine,..its fast, its stable, its got MOTO BLUR,....everything i would want on my Defy. But i really dislike the Battery Icon, i prefer the Original one and i need to know how i can get it back....Please help!!!
No bro u can't get the original icon
Sent from my MB525 using xda premium
i am not quite sure and not a developer but i think you could. maybe with some .zip. ive seen other zip's that were used for changing the status bar icons - but for an other ROM. why not message walter and ask him , he always helps
You could try "cooking" a theme with just the battery icon you like from the Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen.
thank you ejstubbs,. i cooked the theme n m all smiles!
hey buddy ( tendyfish ) ..

I read almost all the guides available on this site. I am sorry being new to this couldn't understand much about these 2 things :
Nandroid backup & fixed sbf
a) Suppose if I want to update my Froyo 2.2.2 to MS2ginger, then in this case whose Nandroid backup has to be taken & how it is taken?
b) Secondly should I use fixed sbf of Froyo or MS2giner ?
Please help me to understand this concept, I am really really confused , N I am dieing to update my Defy .. Pls support ..!!
hello guys
i have mobile U8800pro
just i wan't to ask this mobile U8800pro have a GPU like U8800
and this mobile U8800pro is very slowly in the games
can any one help me please
Both have Adreno 205 Gpu. On stock rom huawei is overall slow. U will need custom rom to have good performance.
Your query isnt that simple.
There are more than one reason for slow perfomance (rom you use, cpu clock, name of the phone at build.prop for HD games, etc)
State your current settings so that someone with more experience might help you
can any one tell me how i can get a high performance in the games on my mobile U8800pro without custom rom ???

Unfortunatelly I have the U8800 non pro, so I cannot be much of a help.
You should consider looking at this link as a start
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Huawei_U8800_IDEOS_X5
There you will find everything about your phone.
Probably you should install a custom rom but be very carefull, as flashing a rom to the wrong kernel/phone might cause big problems.
Read the threads, have patience and eventually you will succeed
Especially see this thread

Hi guys! I hope you can help me here. I want to put a new rom to my defy, now I have CM7 but it went laggy and i decided to change it. I want to have a ROM which will be fast, no lags, and will be stable (no crashing on apps and stuff). I want camera and battery to be working normally (without errors) and blur would be very nice. I figured out that there could be a faster GB kernel in it but i read that there are some problems with camera and battery, so i would like to have some fixes for those. I don't know how to deal with it so it would be nice if someone could give any link to instalation tutorial. (i mean i know how to flash a mod but tutorial would be helpful) And the most important that it has POLISH LANGUAGE! Please help me. I'll preciate it!
Thanks
Please! any propositions???
Hi Michal ,try a nightly from Quarx ,Super stable and lightning fast .
Coming from CM7 would be very easy ,just wipe and install rom and gapps.
Is definately worth giving a try.
Nice tutorial aswell
