A question for the wonderful people of XDA... - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've looked around the Nexus 7 forum for a bit and have not found the answer. My question is, what do you guys think the 4 copper looking circles are at the bottom left of the device. Perhaps something to do with the WiFi antenna? Just curious, I'm gonna feel like an ass if this questions been answered twenty leven times. Ohh well, thanks in advance guys.

You answer every body else but mine and I asked first. I don't know why I even bother coming in this forum.

Your answer is probably in here.

Maybe try searching a bit before posting? It took me literally 15 seconds to find this. We're not here to spoon feed you answers.
whats this forum for than if you shouldn't ask questions? you didn't have a problem with answer other peoples questions. its helpful to get a quick answer sometimes when you short on time. be fare and stop answering all the other similar questions, remember that it bothers you.

Short on time? Seriously? It took me 15 seconds to find an answer for you. It probably took longer than that for you to create this thread. They have a search bar for a reason.

People will not want to help you with an attitude like that. No one is getting paid to help you here.

Just my 2 cents, yes people are here to help. But there are already 5000 threads about the update
I just downloaded the new 4.1.2 stock images for nexus7 that Google released on the googles developers site where you download all the images to whatever device you have.

Smoothrom replacement...

I have been using Smoothrom for the last couple months. I want to try another ROM. The smoother/quicker the better. Suggestions?

One suggestion is to post in the right thread. Another is to back up a flash a few. (Y)

Yes, I have a good suggestion, place your question in Q&A! This is the wrong place.
Dang, people are brutal in here. I would try the cm10.1 nightlies. Just download goo manager from the market and browse ROMs, look for dev "cm" and get the latest nightlies and gapps. That way you can get the nightlies easier and flash every day if you like flame on!

They are not brutal. This section is for development. Q&A is the correct section for questions. Do you really want to wade through 500 question threads while lookimg for a rom? No, you dont. Ergo, the Q&A section. It is there for a very practical reason.

If you are on a pc, just click report. I cant, due to being on the mobile app. Either way, the next mod will either close or move the topic to the correct section. On the bad side of that, i fear he will be treated impatiently there as well. Hks very question is asked alot, and usually gets the same answer. "Flash some and try them". The reason is nobody can really tell you which rom is best for you. Everybody has different wants and needs from thier device/rom/kernel combo. It is a trial and error thing. Multirom can be used effectively to test perspective roms, while still keeping your original one till you find a suitable replacement.

Thread moved.
In future please keep all questions to Q&A, the development forum is for development threads only.
Thank you
My mistake... That said how about blocking these jerks who feel their "I'm cooler than you" comments that serve no use other than to inflame the issue. Not to mention attempt to show all of us how on top of life they are? I made a mistake and posted where I should not have. And I get how that causes issues. I do no come to these sites to be addressed as if I am subhuman. Again, Mr Moderator, my apologies. I apologize for turning this morons world inside out. Maybe we should take guns away from everyone...

As always, you know how XDA feels about "Best Rom" threads. Read and choose some that you think suits you.
If "One" would use the "SEARCH" button, they would see that there is an "OFFICIAL" thread just for this.

Hey, next time you're looking for something, try to do a google search for it. I googled "htc one font xda" and came across this thread. I've no idea if fonts are device-specific so be careful tweaking your phone. You will have some bad encounters with people here by just asking for something that can easily be searched for. Just saying . Also, you may want to delete your previous post over HERE.
Seriously Vicino? why dont you help the man instead of questioning it and making it more difficult than it has to be?, and not very many people were helpful on the other thread so he posted a new thread in hopes that the N4 community will be more helpful. Ease off guys, stop being so harsh and difficult. Not flaming anybody but its frustration seeing people who ask for help not get the help they need.
I think HTC one font is the same as sense 5 font, right?

Thank you everyone for helping regardless!

Is there Paranoid Android for the new Nexus 7?

I have the Paranoid Android ROM on my previous model Nexus 7. I'd like to know if there is Paranoid Android for the 2013 model too.
Not trying to be rude but one of the rules of xda is to search before posting a question and especially before making a whole new thread.
The answer is yes btw but you need to learn how to use the search or even easier just go to n7 original development and look yourself. It's very easy
>^.^< Sent from meow HTC One which is like catnip to me atm
I like that Downtown started off by letting you know he wasn't trying to be a jerk. Sometimes people can be so mean to the newbies. But, yes, xbt, try the Original Development Section and you will find it.

One of the other unwritten rules is you have to waste post space whining about people. It's perfectly clear that posts complaining about people not searching take up just as much if not more space on XDA than posts asking redundant questions. If you doubt me, do a search.

What are you talking about. I let the guy know about searching and then directed him to the right place. Searching before posting is actually a written rule
Btw you just broke that unwritten rule you speak of to then by posting your post haha no whining here on my part bro but your post well that sounded a little whiney to me.

If this isn't the pot calling the kettle black, then I don't know what is!!!! Not to mention your post is longer, and takes up more space than the post you're complaining about!! There should be a list of XDA'S most contradicting posts, and your post should be number 1!!! Hahaha
Yes, I'm breaking this "unwritten rule" you speak of, but it's for a good cause, so that gives me a pass to do so, doesn't it? Sorry, haven't read the unwritten rules, so I'm not sure, and that's why I'm having to ask. Wait, they aren't even available to read, since they're unwritten. Well, guess I should have said "I haven't teleported them to my mind, so I'm not sure, and that's why I'm having to ask"

Main differences between i9500 and i9505

Hi I am getting a s4 tomorrow and was wondering what are the main difference between the two of the devices. Both international (nz) versions and not locked to any carrier. Many thanks in advance.

There are SO MANY threads on this question already. If you had bothered to use the search facility, you would have found all your answers. Please anyone else out there, do NOT spoon feed this noob, it's getting ridiculous now, the laziness of people is astounding now. Do your own research, and don't make someone else do it for you...

OP = Fail... beyond epic.
Here you go.
I don't understand why someone would come to XDA to ask that lol
It would take less time writing "difference between i9500 and i9505" in Google than writing that OP.

One has a five on the end and the other has a zero. Seriously though posting this on a dev forum without even doing a Google search suggests to me you shouldn't get a smart phone.
