I'm [12.Aug.2012] NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.6 (Kernel: tytung_HWA_r3.4) And tried hard for a mod to make its statusbar transparent...!!!:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Followed this guide but failed as it resulting no statusbar at the end.
Please can anybody guide us(noobs) with a proper tutorial for systemUI.apk mods for our leo???
Been looking for one as well, always end up stuffing mine up.
I'm not sure which guide you followed but you can try this one - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20654552&postcount=3
And if you are looking for different mods in general check out the SGN Themes&Apps section http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1340
It's way more active when it comes to mods&themes compared to the HD2 section (Which consists mostly of Questions and Disscusions anyway )

You were right, this guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523703 works well.
I actually never sign SystemUI.apk nor framework-res.apk, never had a problem with that, so you can skip that part.
Try APK Multi-Tool - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1310151
and don't forget to drop framework-res.apk into Apk_Multi-Tool\other
next open Command prompt and navigate to that folder
type
Code:
apktool if framework-res.apk
and you should be ready to de- and recompile.
Attached is 100% transparent and 50% transparent. (have not tested 50% though)
Flash in recovery.

im trying to figure this out for the rom in my sig which is a jb rom
but that guide did help me at all lol
none of the code matched up
Thanks those two mods worked, thanks.

Thanks man I'll definitely try with this & let you know & many thanks for the modded zips(till I learn how to manipulate SystemUI.apk successfully my leo can enjoy it!:highfive::highfive::highfive! Thanks again.!
I found this guide too...!!! :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/31785-co...ng-and-recompiling-jb-systemuiapk-jelly-bean/
& managed to compile the SystemUI.apk but still it results in absent status bar in either way of following
1. Replacing the original SystemUI.apk in the ROM with the modded one & installing the ROM(Tried both signed & unsigned versions)
2. After installing the original ROM & later replace the SystemUI.apk with the modded one with root explorer (Tried signed version)
But when I Edit the permission(with root explorer) of the modded SystemUI.apk copied to the system folder (As in 2nd method), as for other system apps it worked. :cyclops::laugh::laugh::laugh:
I cant understand in which step I made things wrong! In which step we manage permissions of an app while decompiling, compiling or modding.!
It'd be nice if somebody can direct me right.! Love to learn from XDA...!!!

Permissions are set in the AndroidManifest.xml. (in the root folder of the decompiled apk)
Sometimes, if an app is asking for "wierd" permissions which i/it doesn't need i just delete those lines from that file.
But in your case, i don't know what happend.

Sorry Kameirus
but i can't help you with that either, i guess you would be better off downloading the jellybean source
and try to mod it that way or wait until somebody else does.
I don't think that those "smalis" don't exist, they are just named differently
and overall just different since it's a new android version.
My guess would be, if you want to add transparency you might want to look at:
SystemUI.apk\smali\com\android\systemui\statusbar\BaseStatusBar.smali
If you are going to learn a bit about smali, you could try Virtuous Ten Studio - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619473
It makes smali's a bit easier on the eye and has a nice smali-guide within.

Ok I think I figured out whats the problem is with my compiling...!!!
When you run the compile it ask to replace every thing that not modified from the original. I chose "yes" earlier all the time! But when I select "no"
I could get a working SystemUI.apk even without zipaligning or signing.! :cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:

This is my attempt to get some more creativity, innovation, and roms here on xda. alot of people here have incredible skills but they cant be harnessed because they dont know what to do. if you are an artist we need you make icon packs. you have made 30 roms but you cant sign them. blah blah.
so no one abuse this but i attached a toolkit to do anything and everything with android on windows. im pushing this to be used for creating themes. hopefully it can help. but i thought it would be nice if everyone had this and the opensource community could start to grow even more.
i like this idea because it can help fellow Devs and even the watchers. everyone can get involved and give something to the community.
And now i present the Avabox
Any questions post them up.
OUTLINE------------------------------------------------------------
unyaffs-you have the ability to take system.img and data.img from you nandroids and get specific items from them.
Autosign- sign anything and everything. name your zip update.zip and follow the readme. roms themes, apps, anything.
Baksmali- put in apk in the folder. read readme. edit any icons wallpapers, anything. close it up and enjoy.
Perlscripts- this opens the boot.img for you.
Read the readme on all of these programs.
So this is going to be a quick tutorial Im gonna put up a video soon on how i got this to work on my computer
First things first download Avabox and unzip it in your C folder (same place you put androidsdk).
then get the java runtime from here not to be confused with the java development kit but since your there might as well grab it as well.
Install the java runtime then reboot
then open up avabox and click on autosign and place the zip you want signed in that folder and name it update.zip (dont add the .zip part it should already be a zip file).
then open up command prompt and type:cd\
cd Avabox/auto-sign
java -jar signapk.jar testkey.x509.pem testkey.pk8 update.zip update_signed.zip
After that last enter give it a second and look in your avabox/update file and you'll notice a new file called update_signed.zip
I know that this is almost word for word from the read me but a few differences can go along way expect a video shortly..... well around wednesday or whenever i can get someone to help with this
porting
im interested in learning how to port and combine different aspects of themes and other mods. will this do it or is there other software i need. I can do the work if shown the way. I read all the post everday with peopl;e asking for this and that and i do it myself. If shown I would help with requests as much as possible. HELP PLEASE
Thank you Avalaunch!!
so with this software, can i take a signed theme mod (like launcher or taskbar) and it will grab the images for me to edit, and then repack and sign to a flashable zip?
Everyone that knows how to use bak/smali, I have a question.
The modifications I made to the extracted pngs aren't getting transferred back to the original apk when I close it back up. Any Ideas? I'm getting really close to a breakthrough for 2.1. Any help would be appreciated

What do you mean? Baksmali and Smali are for decompiling classes.dex and opening it up for the .smali files that are inside. Smali takes that output and recompiles it back into classes.dex for your .apk or .jar file.
You need to update the baksmali and smali .jar's. You have older versions and that will cause issues with certain .jar and .apk's when decompiling. baksmali-1.2.1.jar and smali-1.2.1.jar are the latest versions and will not require the BOOTCLASS PATH to be included...
Does the autosign work windows 7 (64 bit)? I've heard issues with other autosigns on 7. If it doesn't, no biggie I got xp in a VM... lol

What im trying to figure out is why would you even need to use baksmali/smali to edit .png's inside an .apk. All that needs to be done is opening of the .apk with 7zip, modify whats in /res/drawable etc then close...No need to sign .apks or anything. If anything, the script needs to contain something to extract /res/ * from the .apk to edit.

I'm actually doing more than that. I am changing the code to look for instead of <name of file>.jpg to <name of file>.png
While also putting the new png in the apk. Think that's possible? I changed all of the locations where that file comes up in the smali code.

i guess i need to explain more. i use baksmali to make apks easier to search through. for me at least. instead of changing the type and everything i just put it in the folder and baksmali then do changes and create a new archive. sign and change .apk. if you smali it back to apk then it wont save edits. sorry about that anyways has this helped people so far? i love showing that windows can be a dev platform

Sorry for the n00b question, but I have searched and haven't had much luck. Hopefully, this is the best place for this question. I just started editing .png's and updating some apk's files to customize some things on my phone for looks. However, I am really interested in modifying the taskbar and notification screen, but I have no clue where to start. Is there a guide somewhere I could follow to learn how to change them? What programs, if any additional ones will I need etc..?
Thanks for your help!
Figured it out on my own. framework.apk and resources.apk
Hello,
I found this thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=765419
and I have some questions about this :
1) Is it possible to "tweak" our framework-res.apk with this battery mod.
2) Can I use this method to "tweak my framework-res.apk : http://circle.glx.nl/
3) When I download my new framework-res.apk, how to boot on recover mode on the phone to put the framework-res.apk on the system ?
4) Do you know an other easylier method to tweak icons on the HD2 under android ?
Thanks a lot !
+1 I asked myself to but no time to seach forum

Ok I think I'll answer this, but bear with me as it's NOT easy or for the faint of heart. If you read this and you DO NOT feel comfortable I would recommend you not giving this a go.
Before you start ANY of these steps below, MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE REPLACING THEM. I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED FOLLOWING THESE STEPS! You have been warned.
1) Visit the website above and run through the steps to get the battery images you want. For the purposes of this tutorial/howto I am not covering how to change anything else (KISS: Keep It Simple, Stupid).
2) The easiest ones to change are the Version A-I ones, just choose which battery set would work best for you on your phone and click "Next"
3) Choose "Do not include icons" and click next. The icons it is talking about here are the signal, wifi, usb etc notification bar icons and as I mentioned I will not cover how to change those here.
4) Leave "Do not change notification status bar" selected and click next. Again I'm not covering that here.
5) You can choose a different boot anim if you want, they are very easy to upload to your phone and you can figure out where they have to be put yourself with no problems. IMPORTANT: If you do change the boot animation, make sure you choose the correct type of rom you have from the dropdown selection.
6) Upload your existing framework-res.apk (using something like DroidExplorer, navigate to /system/framework and paste it onto your desktop, then upload here). This will update the relevant files in your framework-res.apk automatically. (If you cannot obtain your existing framework-res.apk I cannot guarantee method 2 will work, sorry but feel free to try)
7) Replace your framework-res.apk (via DroidExplorer or your chosen ADB browser) on your phone and reboot. Voila!
This worked for me on shubcraft 2.0 drop mode but obviously I cannot guarantee it will work for everyone. Please remember my warnings above that this is not guranteed.
hello, thanks for your quick help, but it doesn't work for hyperdroid rom V1.7
any idea ?

there is another far more complicated way around it, but it really does take about half an hour to work out.
Basically, you need to get your framework-res.apk and extract it with winrar or something similar (an apk is basically just a zip file) and find the folder called res/drawable-HDPI. this is where all the icons for things like your battery icons live.
Copy and paste the new icons from someone elses framework-res or even one you download from the website above into this folder and replace the drawable-HDPI folder into your framework-res.apk, replace it onto your phone and reboot.
Again, this is a quick description of a much lengthier way of doing it but it does work. Also, my disclaimer in the post I made before still stands, do this AT YOUR OWN RISK and do NOT complain to me if something breaks. If you don't fully understand, don't do anything.

It doesn't seem to work all that well with frameworks from our current modded builds. I've tried it with a rooted desire framework (from my gf's desire) and that worked. Evidently all the work that the devs do on our hd2's make them very different to other android builds. the second method I posted (adding the png's to your existing framework) works perfectly.

This method will not work with the battery icons which shows all 100% increments. This method will only work for the standard battery icons, which only involves like 12 battery icons.
In order to add the 1% increment readings in the battery, it involves modifying xml files to read and associate the correct battery icons at each increment.
can you give a tut how to add the version a manually?
nvm, I got it!
Hi guys.
I am trying to tweak my phone by my self and was wondering about how to do it.
What I want to do is change the battery icon in the notification bar to show percentages. I know there's already a flashable mod available, but I wanted to use my own icons and to learn how to do the mods my self so that I can modify the phone more to my tastes my self. (You know, since I do own a nexus phone now) (Also, I completely agree with what efrant said in his post about knowing about how to do things yourself, not only how to use 1-click tools and ask people "Help!! I bricked my phone!!" without knowing what I did wrong..)
I used to own a galaxy s and had changed the battery icon there by modifying the framework-res.apk file, but when I downloaded the existing battery percentage mod, I found that the modder actually changed the SystemUI.apk file, so I'm kinda stumped.
The process I used to modify the galaxy s was:
- Uncompile the framework-res.apk using apkmanager
- Edit the /res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml and /res/drawable/stat_sys_battery_charge.xml files
- Put the new icons into /res/drawable-hdpi
- Recompile the apk to unsignedframework-res.apk
- Open both the original framework-res.apk and unsignedframework-res.apk and move the edited files and icons from framework-res.apk to unsignedframework-res.apk
- Copy /resources.arsc from unsignedframework-res.apk to framework-res.apk
- Done.
So to summarize, my question is: Is the process I used okay for the Nexus 4? If there are any differences what are they and what do I have to do.
Of course, I would be grateful if I could get a detailed guide to modifying the phone, since I'm kind of a noob when it comes to doing my own modifications.
bef0re y0u d0 that, can y0u share y0ur framework-res and SystemUI?? I want t0 m0d my htc desire....

The process I used to modify the galaxy s was:
- Uncompile the framework-res.apk using apkmanager
- Edit the /res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml and /res/drawable/stat_sys_battery_charge.xml files
- Put the new icons into /res/drawable-hdpi
- Recompile the apk to unsignedframework-res.apk
- Open both the original framework-res.apk and unsignedframework-res.apk and move the edited files and icons from framework-res.apk to unsignedframework-res.apk
- Copy /resources.arsc from unsignedframework-res.apk to framework-res.apk
- Done.
So to summarize, my question is: Is the process I used okay for the Nexus 4? If there are any differences what are they and what do I have to do.
Of course, I would be grateful if I could get a detailed guide to modifying the phone, since I'm kind of a noob when it comes to doing my own modifications.

Sounds like it should still work. The only difference is the nexus uses xhdpi images, but the hdpi will still work as well.

Hello guys,
Since I use a Samsung device, I'm used to the extra number row on top of the keyboard so I modded Swype to have that extra row. However since Swype is to be purchased and not distributed, I'll only tell here how to do it for your legally purchased copy. And this is a bit complicated and for advanced users and you need to be rooted. You also need Root Explorer. Here we go:
1- First buy/download Swype from Google Play.
2- Go to /mnt/asec/com.nuance.swype.dtc-1 folder, copy pkg.apk to your sdcard, rename it to com.nuance.swype.dtc-1.apk.(keep a backup of this file at all times)
3- Go to /mnt/asec/com.nuance.swype.dtc-1/lib folder copy the files (libnmsp_speex.so and libswypecore.so) to your sdcard.
4- Using apktool (I used version 1.52) decompile com.nuance.swype.dtc-1.apk.,
5- Go to decompiled folder\res\xml folder. kbd file pertaining to your language is to be edited, I edit kbd_qwerty.xml for English using Notepad++.
6- Check the attached kbd_qwerty.xml in portrait folder and notice the extra row section I added to the top. You can in fact add secondary characters to numbers or customize the keyboard completely, rearrange letters, add symbols etc.
7- Once done, save the file and go to decompiled folder\res\xml-land folder and edit the landscape for the layout, kbd_qwerty.xml file, notice the attached file in landscape folder.
8- Once done, save the file and go to decompiled folder\res\values folder and edit the dimens.xml file. Here I raise the height of the keyboard and height of the key to 270dip and 54dip respectively, check the top rows of the attached dimens.xml. Also increase the keyboard height for landscape (if you want) by changing the dimens.xml under res\values-land folder.
9- Once done, recompile the folder with apktool, go to decompiled folder\dist folder and copy the apk here to a different folder and rename it to temp.apk.zip
10- Open temp.apk.zip with 7z/winrar and copy the resources.arsc and kbd_qwerty.xml files from res\xml and res\xml-land folders to your PC(obviously keep the 2 files in seperate folders not to overwrite)
11- Then, rename the original apk from step 2 to com.nuance.swype.dtc-1.apk.zip , open with winrar and first delete resources.arsc file, then drag the resources.arsc file from step 10 to the archive, it will be added. Staying in winrar, go to res\xml folder and replace the file with kbd_qwerty.xml from step 10 (the portrait version). Do the same with res\xml-land folder and the landcape file.
12- Once finished rename the file back to com.nuance.swype.dtc-1.apk, don't sign it, don't delete META-INF folder, leave it as it is.
13- Now, on your phone, uninstall Swype. Reinstall it from the apk file on Step 2. Go to /data/app-lib/com.nuance.swype.dtc-1 folder and move the 2 files (libnmsp_speex.so and libswypecore.so) to system/lib folder. You have to mount the System R/W from Root Explorer on this step. Fix the permissions so these 2 files have the same permissions with other files there. If you can't find these files just use the ones from Step 3.
14- Once done, copy com.nuance.swype.dtc-1.apk from Step 12 to /system/app and fix the permissions so that it has the same permissions as other files there.
15- Then delete the com.nuance.swype.dtc-1.apk from /data/app/ folder. Restart your phone.
This should be it if you followed it exactly, tracing and Dragon voice dictation also works. While you're doing all this work (takes 10 minutes by the way), you might also consider changing how Swype looks (theming) and changing many other things like swype thickness, colors etc. Please note that this is for advanced and rooted users and please don't ask me to give you the modded apk, you have to do it on your legally bought version. You might consider doing backups just in case anything goes wrong. Have fun.
And a quick tip: if you swype from swype icon to symbol key(123), arrow keyboard opens up.
You can also add arrow keys by copying arrow keys from kbd_edit.xml, check the 2nd screenshot.
Please hit the thanks button if you think this is useful.
Nice how to. But may u should tell that the latest Android versions store purchased apps in data/app-asec as asec version, this need special procedure to get a apk from the asec format.
Can you please update this tutorial to 4.3 ? I couldn't find the files in the mentioned paths. . I'm on stock rooted 4.3 on gt9500

It works same for me on 4.3 stock rooted i9500, maybe you could do a file search to find the necessary folder. Here is another screenshot with the updated Swype(1.6.2.22328), where I made number buttons smaller like original Samsung Keyboard and hide the suggestions bar to save space.

using the current play store version (1.6.3.22544), i decompiled com.nuance.swype.dtc-1.apk (/mnt/asec/com.nuance.swype.dtc-1/pkg.apk) using APKTool 1.52. i made no changes and attempted to recompile without success.
the first error displayed by apktool is:
"C:\Users\Phil\apktool\com.nuance.swype.dtc-1\res\values\arrays.xml:545: error: Found tag dimen-array where item is expected"
i do use APKTool successfully to mod other apps so i am familiar with the process.
QUESTION: what frameworks file are you using when making your mods? are you using a TW ROM frameworks? that's the only other variable i can think of...
EDIT: well, i just tried using TW framework too without success

Latest version of Swype has incompatible tags with Apktool. What you do is go to all the lines that give error and change them to <string-array>. Then it compiles.

thanks man, appreciate the help and info!
I've been going nuts trying to edit swype for a week now and still can't seem to get it to work. All I want to do is change the suggested word color and maybe a few other minor color related things. I assumed just changing the color codes in /res/values/styles.xml that seemed to pertain to the holo theme would work but I can't ever get the app to install. Not even sure where to begin to ask for help on this one but if anyone has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it.
Ok I've tried this a hundred times following all the steps completely and it just wont work.
Once I go to install the final apk it always tries to install then sais App Not Installed.

You don't install the final apk, in fact you can't since the certificate is no longer valid. You copy the final apk in place as in Step 14.
I would love this! I have used Swype for years but I would love a number row. To be honest I have no idea how to follow those instructions! I have a rooted phone - what can I do?
Am I right in concluding that you can't use TB to backup and restore the finished product and this will have to be done manually? I did this on my rooted Note 3 and I keep going back to my stock image because I don't want to have to keep doing the steps when I flash a new ROM or ROM update.
Would I maybe just have to do steps 12 onward every time?

When you install a new ROM, you install original Swype from apk file then you move the lib files to /system/lib, copy the modded apk to /system/app and delete original apk from /data/app folder. So it is 4 steps once you have the modded apk ready, should take no more than 5 minutes.

This is similar. Please go through the steps, you don't (can't) install the modded apk, you move it in place.

Yeah I realized that after I posted and still nothing. I'm no programmer but I've never NOT been able to change a few things and recompile. Not sure how just changing a few color codes is causing such a problem. Shame such a nice keyboard has such little customization and few themes. Don't get me wrong I like orange but it really doesn't mesh at all with the rest of the UI. Thanks for the reply though.

I did all that and it changed the height of the keyboard, but didn't add any additional number row.
kdb_qwerty or whatever it's called is the default that comes up when you install it, right? Becuase I tried again and specifically made sure to use this one and it just wont give me the extra row, just the height.

It depends on your system language. Try kbd_qwerty_panlatin.xml.

Using a Note 3 from T-Mobile, I pulled the file with the adb command, with root explorer, and extracted it from the stock ROM file all giving me the same error. For some reason I also don't get any smali files out of my SystemUI.apk which has been driving me crazy. I can't seem to find any working answers yet... Fail...
Basically bumping this thread a half a year later...

You have the relevant frameworks installed and java in your path?

Summary/Lessons Learned in the last 24 hours:
I must have been too tired, went to sleep got up again and went at it. I realized a few things, main thing was deodexing, I learned all about that. Converting the .odex file to a class.dex file inside the SystemUI.apk and SecSettings.apk so decompiling would work properly (I was originally missing the smali folder without deodexing my app). Second I needed to pull all the framework files from my device instead of just the two I had, then I used "apktool if framework-res.apk" then "apktool if twframework-res.apk" then "apktool d SystemUI.apk" then "apktool d SecSettings.apk". This time it actually worked, I proceeded to try and re-compile them just to test. The SystemUI.apk worked flawlessly but the the SecSettings.apk had errors then I realized I needed to copy the AndroidManifest.xml and resources.arsc from the original app to the decompiled folder and the SecSettings.apk compiled with no issues. I had to get the original file out of the stock ROM, it had gotten damaged somehow with zipping/raring/7zipping so quicktip no one should be zipping the files you're about to work on get it fresh from the ROM.
Current Issue:
Now that all that's done I'm onto what I was trying to get at when I started this whole project. I need to modify both of these apps which are now perfectly deodexed and on my stock device. Every time I try to modify these files I lose my status bar and my settings stop working, I'm obviously breaking it, this is the XDA guide I was following.
Any help or redirection on where to post would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Easiest thing - put your mod back in and get the status bar to disappear/fc whatever
Then, pull a log (catalog from appstore works fine)
Post that log at pastebin and link it here
We won't be able to solve your issue without knowing what it is, in the first place
Like this?
This was before I restarted: Log 1
Then I recorded for a little after I restarted probably pointless but that's where the error would have been: Log 2

Not sure exactly how to record it and send it to you, I pressed record but when the phone finished rebooting CatLog was closed so I reopened it and it keeps scrolling endlessly.
Research progressed a little
I came across a post here in the Flashlight Mod development thread which made me realize I'm not getting the ID's correct. They suggest compiling the modded SystemUI.apk to get the ID's into the apk file under the /res/values/public.xml file, then decompiling it to read the ID values. I'm missing a step or doing something wrong, I can't replicate it to find the ID values I need so I can add them to the .smali file and recompile a final time. I'm sure this is the only reason for the missing status bar and the force closes. I guess I need help understanding, a different set of instructions or just more detailed?
I can't post in that thread yet so I'm getting my posts up over here, I already posted in the Q&A thread but no one has responded yet, any help is greatly appreciated!
I get this when decompiling the modded apk: Modded SystemUI ApkTool Decompile
All these errors look like the file is broken now or something, I'm just lost at this point. I tried ApkTool 1.5.2 and 2.0 as well.
EDIT:
Additional info below for troubleshooting purposes since it seems my issue recompiling at the end to get the values for my public.xml
STEPS:
1. deodex (universal deodexer v5)
2. decompile (apktool 1.5.2 & 2.0 separate tests)
3. modify (add flashlight .png's and .smali file from 4.4kk flashlight mod files)
4. recompile (apktool)
5. decompile (apktool)
=
Errors <<<<< These errors solved in edit below
EDIT:
I forgot to use "apktool if SystemUI.apk" when loading "framework-res.apk" & "twframework-res.apk" now I get through decompiling and recompiling like I thought I should be and I even located the values int he public.xml, replaced them in the .smali and everything went peachy. Only problem is I never get the status bar after I reboot, not really getting any FC's but the status bar, if my goal were to get it to be invisible I would be so happy omg lol If you're curious I've also tested by signing and even another test with zipalign, nothing zip/zero/zilch...
EDIT... Again I know still no sleep, durp durp:
So my main issue was not using apktool v1.5.2 to decompile and v2.0 to compile EVERY SINGLE TIME, NO EXCEPTIONS. When I followed that simple rule I get it onto my device and she has no status bar... Hmmmmm..... And a logcat for anyone smart enough to help me
EDIT:
Maybe I'm in the right direction with an error I saw in the log at this post? I thought it was so I installed the DisableSignatureVerification Mod from the Xposed Modules and still nothing.
Calling All Developers
It's been like 2 weeks just curious if anyone has even looked at this, I haven't been able to make any progress so I started learning how to develop apps. I made two small apps basic flashlight and a counter app but I really want to know why I'm totally unable to mod a file on my phone. I can't get the ink effect to work with finger input either I've been really trying to get this flashlight mod and the ink effect for months. If I could get pointed in the direction of a developer that can actually help me I don't see why I couldn't donate like $10 or $20 to the one who helps me. I'm on android 4.4.2 (NK3) on my Note 3 from T-Mobile.
