Can someone tell me how to supercharge CM10?
I have never supercharged any ROM and all I know about Supercharge is that it makes the Rom faster, and that is good enough to make me install it
So I am On Motorola defy MB525 (Green lens) with CM10,the latest build by quarx.
I tried looking around the web for this and got several guide but they all said that Supercharging Jellybean is different from others and etc..
So I want to know the correct way to do it and also it you have tried that method and also if it made your Cm10 better/faster.
I do it with all my ROMs but i think theres not that much of a difference.
You do pretty much the same as in the GB except from the ICS service centre which runs almost automatically!
CM10
My Quadrant score with CM10 is 1500! Whereas, I used to get a score of 2300 on CM7. . .what am I missing?? how do I improve my phone performance with CM10? HWA settings did not help neither did CPU governer settings.

But I am on Jelly Bean(CM10) So shouldn't I flash some kind of Jb service centee instead of a ICS service center?
And where do I get the service center from?
Theres not that much of a difference between ICS and JB
The Ics Service Center is integrated in the Supercharger, you do exactly the same on JB as on ICS
Simply run the Supercharger, it will bring you to the option ICS service center and then simply choose automatically its very easy just try it
Installed it and Uninstalled it
It didnt seem to make it any faster :/
Thanks anyways
Exactly how i told you
The only reason i installed was because of the transparent Notification Bar
But it didnt work so its useless

The ICS service centre isn't working on jelly bean yet.
It didn't make it faster because it didn't do anything.

The latest script should make it clear when you're running Jelly Bean... The ICS Priority Charger WebApp WON'T work...
But I'm just doing some finishing touches on a "Jelly Scream" script to do the smali edits.

Re-supercharger loads up your previous options.
But you can still change options afterwards.

Hey! I am running the Quarx's latest nightly (12.09) on my MB526. Tried super charging Jellybean with the windows exe but cant get a 100% supercharged system, just keep getting the message "Launcher is locked in memory ie. Very Weak!" How do I unlock launcher in CM10? The option doesn't seem to be there in the performance settings like before.

I'm proud to present a CyanogenMod Rom on the Eris, White Widow, ported from DarchDroid by Darchstar.
Cant shut me down
This is only a beta, and therefore has a few issues to work out. the main one is the boot. As of beta 3, you have to flash it over either a nand backup of 3.1 or the actual flash of 3.1. I am not allowed to distribute 3.1 anymore, so for those of you who didnt get it earlier im sorry, do not flash as it will bootloop your phone. also to those who do have 3.1, DO NOT WIPE! Wiping will also cause a bootloop.
To fix the no service bug, download the attatched zip, and exctact the build.prop to your sdk/tools
run these command to pop it back into place
Code:
adb remount
adb push build.prop /system
then reboot
Beta 3 Rereleased!
Limited Time Release, 4.0 beta3
Stripped down, very limited release. Just wanted to give you a small taste of what I've been working on. This is far from being the final release, but I promised a sneak peek. So far it is functioning and stable.
WORKING FB INTEGRATION
GPS
You must install googleshits to use anything than the other basic functions. Save the file to your SD card, boot to recovery and flash the googleshits .zip file like you would flash anything else. it is an update script.
For those interested in DarchStars new kernel with BrainFuck Scheduler- First Ever Release On Eris! -download and flash the update zip included at the bottom. No wipe needed.
I encourage you to look through the settings for all the new options, things like integrated wired tethering, setting custom messages on your lock screen, and 360 degree rotation are all under there, theres too many new things to post though so take a look and see what you find.
Thanks To
Punk.Koas for his kernel
-thanks to him we have OC and multitouch
Hero CDMA Devs for getting this on the Hero
Mak and Zippy-Man for the MMS fix

I found this and its getting alot of praise across the forum and i wonder if anyone tried it with our Tab. I installed and it seem to have effect. Scrolling between screens seems much smoother. But there is alot of options and diffrent variation of tweaks to choose from, i installed number 9. i read in SGS2 forum about this and someone used number 9 and it was good for him, we have the same amount of memory so i thougt i would try it. heres the link to original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276 . It seems to a good tweak because rom makers in SGS2 are puting it in there builds by default and it can by applied to any android device.

That is possibly the most impenetrable post I've ever tried to read. How do you install the script? If it doesn't work, how do you remove it? Also, where do you get the most recently updated version?
Alpha, could you please post your opinion if decide to try it out. I dont have it installed right now, in the middle of flashing and setting up a new rom. So it would be nice when its time to try Supercharger again to have some opinions.

Will do,cant flash now until i finish work in th next 8hrs. You probably would have setup the new rom by then and tried the supercharge.Let us know the rom you using, the version of the supercharge, the kernel(stock or oc) and the performance after supercharge installed after few hrs of using it to make sure its not some smoothness/performance due to fresh installed.

Hi there,I'm trying to port the SDK dump to my LG P500,which has the same specs like ZTE Blade.
After applying normal methods for making other phones' roms boot and a special patch found here it doesn't even give logcat,so bootloops in recovery.
After doing some research,I discovered that libs are built for armv7,which we don't have. But also Honeycomb SDK libs were built from armv7,but we got it working on both LG P500 and ZTE Blade.
So,any ideas? Just asking
I think honeycomb and below was build from armeabi (To run on the old simulator that was armv6 vfp (but the vfp wasn't used by google).
whereas ics was built for armeabi-v7a
That is certainly implied by the AVD manager anyway.

Thank you for replying
usually only kernel have ARM text and other also init.rc have kernel text if editing them to ARMv6 kernel text then it needs to work in ARMv6 device..
If not, then some files needs editing...
Android 4.0 ICS needs new EGL and hw files which needs to be ARMv6= ZTE Blade/other phone! all phones have own files to work fine!
If someone can edit Android 4.0 libGLES*.so, libEGL.so files and then egl folder files needs editing.. and then hw folder files for Screen, sensors, GPS, Audio, etc.
then them need right files to get work the audio, camera, WiFi...
WiFi files can work if you add older Android OS WiFi files: libhardware-legacy.so or what it is and then right WiFi files to /System/etc/
to get all to work it maybe takes many days and for me more than 9 months because I'm only 14! xD
SDK port is maybe not really good, it's better to port from other device ex: Samsung... then some files works without editing...
manumanfred the sdk was compiled for ARMv7, it's a different cpu, different machine code. It needs recompiling, to be able to do that you need the source code to compile it.
Without source code you're about as likely to get ICS running on your Blade as you are to get your PS3 running Windows 7.
When devices with ICS are available source code will be too, so porting it from another device would be a waste of time.

But that's all it does
I used this ROM and replaced boot.img with CM N257. In the honeycomb port they fixed the flipped screen with patching libsurfaceflinger.so on offset 1AC90 but that does not work on ICS. Launcher FC's on first boot but does not after reboot.
Could you please upload that booting rom? I tried it and it won't even install. Even if nothing works, I would like to try several things on that to see if I can fix it, so if you upload it I would be very thankful

I just tried it 10mins ago, it installs fine does not boot at all, no logcat output... Wonder if he/made any tweaks elsewhere.
I have a O1 somewhere might dig it out, and have a look
I got it booting! Screen is fliped, touchscreen doesn't seem to work at all and I couldn't test anything else because I can't press OK on the first tutorial screen, but it may be something to start with!
I'm uploading it right now, but I think it will take a while as my connection isn't working very well right now, but I'll post the link as soon as it's finished.
EDIT: OK. You'll have to be patient. Apparently, my 20 MB symmetric shared connection doesn't want to upload faster than 50 KB/s. It's always like this in the afternoon: too many people using it LOL. Hopefully it will be uploaded in 25 minutes or so.

OK, fixed flipped screen & resolution. Thanks to smg22rus for the modified libsurfaceflinger.so.
Flashable ROM (for devs only!) can be found here
If you fix something, just post what you did to get it fixed, do not upload the whole ROM again.
That way, this thread stays clean & we have only one ICS ROM (not 10 different ones).
A few tweaks from the devs here and there which vastly improve the current ics experience...
1. zeps supercharger
2. PapaSmurvs Smurfed out script(weird name but good script)
3. [email protected]'s tweakzv5 zip
Supercharger needs an additional services.jar patch which you can find in the thread, the other two work fine. They don't conflict and the smurfed out script tidies up the build.prop.
I've numbered them in the order I applied them, they work on both IceLite and Arconium v4 with no issues.
It helps if you give a short description telling us what the tweaks are about.
PapaSmurvs Smurfed out script also needs aditional patching of services.jar
I really like the supercharger tweak! Thanks

Sure.
Thanks for the tweaks OP.
Would like to know what these things DO.
I mean what are the downsides to them (and there must be downsides, as clearly Sony would have implemented what they do in the standard image).

They're various tweaks to memory management, 3g speed, UI speed/smoothness and others. There's no downside, as such. The stock firmware can be pretty slow or laggy, these eliminate that.

no problem ☺
Interesting. My AnTuTu score went down by about 5000 but the actual phone seems to be much quicker.
On my D851 it did speed up the device quite a bit, but it disabled my ad blocking so I uninstalled it.. Too bad.

Fairly certain. I even changed the animations from .5x back to 1x. The phone appears snappier overall - a small, but noticeable difference, I would say.
