Samsung Gorilla - Galaxy S III General

I have 2 sgs3 in family, 1 is mine and the other is of my gf.
After less than 1 month both phones have a huge crack in the screen. They didn't suffered any particular shock.
I strongly advise to purchase protection for these cannon glass phones......

S-pen on the Note 2

I have been using the Note 1 for the past year & used the s-pen a lot.
But writing with the s-pen on the Note 2 is simply brilliant. Very smooth & super responsive. A huge upgrade from the Note 1 s-pen.
Well done Samsung!

Wish people would stick to the right forum, when posting, or maybe this is simply bragging "ohh lardy doo has a new phone that's newer than yours is", why don't you stick your spen up your nose and sing hurrah I'm a lumberjack, it would be a lot more interesting, now go away.

Versions with more memory?

Hi guys,
I'd like to know if there are any planned versions with 32 or 64 gigabytes of memory. Nexus 4 is very cheap if we consider its hardware but I need more memory than 16 gigabytes. I'll never understand this choice
Thanks in advance

How would we know that? If anyone here did know the answer they would be breaking an NDA by telling you and make themselves liable for prosecution.
If it happens, you'll find out when the rest of the world does.
not going to happen

What's your next upgrade Phone from Note 2

I'm stuck between:
Note 3 (of course)
Sony Xperia Z1
Nexus 5 (when officially released to know the specs, but having it always get the latest updates does sound attractive. )
The HTC One Max is also a big phone that looks good, but we'll see. I've had the Note, Note 2 and SGS2 and my partner has the SGS3, and we live together. Samsung makes good phones and makes them to last (mine is 1 year old with 0 issues). But I might want to try something a little different, hence the change in device. 5 inch displays with on screen controls make the screen size even smaller. So I'm thinking of crossing out the Z1 and N5, but I don't know. They're VERY good phones and the camera on the Z1 is kick butt!
Note 5. Maybe then Samsung has 4K screens and a good developed flexible screen.
Probably a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or something innovative.

I really ask the same question personally as someone said once you go big cant go small so im gonna look at either s5 or note 4

I'll see the official specs of the nexus 5, especially the battery and the price.
It was announced to be 3000 mA and now the last news says 2400 mA which is clearely not enough.
I think I can sell my Note II and buy and Nexus 5 without loosing any money (or not that much)
Or else I'll keep my Note for one more year, I'm happy with it.
Note 3, rest doesnt come closer to it. Will buy in a month once prices cool down a bit.

I didn't realize our phone has gg4. Pretty cool.
Cool to know!

I had no idea either. I assumed it was GG3!

So I think it's safe to say to the folks over in the ''tempered glass Screen protector" thread that they should be blaming Corning for their halo problems.

Why should they blame Corning? They bought a flat, solid screen protector and put it on a screen with curved edges lol.

My thoughts also!
wow me having to replace my cracked screen loses that GG4............
I'm sure it depends on when your note 4 was manufactured. If it was version 3 or 4?

There is v3 or v4 of Note 4?
How do you find out what version your note is?
I'm only going by when corning released the glass. I'm sure Samsung is using the latest 4 once it was made available.
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
According to Corning and Samsung, the Note 4 only shipped with GG4.
There is no mention of GG3 in any documentation or press releases from Samsung and Corning states the Note 4 uses GG4.

I was under the impression that Samsung didn't state what glass was used at launch

It doesn't matter its still glass you drop your phone and it will crack so i its irrelevant if its GG3 or GG4 it shatters the same

It's actually very relevant. Yes, glass will always break/crack/shatter. However, GG4 has been proven to be able to take quite a bit more of a beating than GG3 before breaking. Every little bit helps.
