Yea, he knows that Zeusc is CDMA. The Zeusc is usually left behind on updates and stuff so he's saying It's stable on all phones EVEN the Zeusc which is usually left behind.

Yes, that is what I was referring to, didnt clarify that very well... but yeah thanks for clearing it up.

sorry for the noobishness, but are there still bugs/things that don't work on CM9 for zeus? it's only now that i'm gaining interest in flashing custom ROMs, so, sorry for my noobishness.. (is that even a word? )

This stable release is the same as FXP133 CM9, (correct me if I'm wrong) Due to that that I think that the proximity sensor doesn't work and before anyone asks neither do touchpads suprisingly *sarcasm* Other than that I think it's all good. So flash away! If you need any help with flashing etc. feel free to drop me a PM :good:

Sorry I think it's confusing people it seems most likely because it listed as a stable release, which it is. Basically everything works and it is stable for daily use however I'm unsure as to whether or not the proxy sensor works and I know for a fact touchpads won't. Other than that everything should work, I'll let you know

I personally hate the proximity sensor and never use the touchpad.

I'd urge people to vote and spread the word it can help keep the x10 going for a little longer!

I'll say one thing, just because it gets ported officially by them doesn't mean it will be any less buggy than the ones already out. In fact in might be a lot more buggy.
There is an official port for my current phone and it is buggier than the unofficial Ports
I'm not trying to be negative, just letting you guys know.

Yesss, Official miui port is nice but an official cm port is the dream, I'd love to see that & enjoy it for a while before upgrading
Anyways of course gonna vote for this too because although personally don't care that much but as I said it would be nice & hopefully will help having more stable roms(be it official or not) and after all we're a community, right?
Cm7 is going official isn't it? I thought that's what freexperias goal was?
Ephumuris
Don't you technically need an official cm before you can even get an official miui?
Since miui is based off of cm I thought

Yes. Because as awesome as MIUI is, they do just wait for a stable cm7 for a device then add MIUI to it.
Whatever it is based off, I just really like MIUI'S usability.
There was a windows phone 7 theme and gogmsh, it looked so nice on the phone and when I was forced to go back to stock, I could not stand the ugliness of the keys and theme etc.
Now I'm in cm7, its fast but no where near as good looking as MIUI.

They probably can't even port it without an official

[INFO] Drew Garin's ICS Flavours; On Screen Buttons and Hardware Buttons - Alpha

Hello All,
Here is Drew Garin's ICS AOSP builds on his main site, it comes in two flavours:
No onscreen buttons and, onscreen buttons.
The onscreen buttons build is the same experience you will have on the Galaxy Nexus. Drew states that this build it more stable, and recommends this build if you want a solid ICS experience.
The no onscreen buttons build works as you would expect. It takes advantage of the Nexus S hardware buttons.
I will quote everything from his site below
What Works:
Nearly Everything!
USB and ADB
3G Data
Audio
Hardware Accel
Camera, Panorama
GPS (Unconfirmed currently I’m in a 13 story brick building)
Face Unlock
Wifi
Bluetooth
Tethering and Hotspot
Data Usage
NFC
Pretty much everything
Not Working:
Camcorder
Not all applications are currently compatible with ICS on Crespo. As a work around you can always use appbrain or download from the internet.
Download With On Screen Buttons (Overall Stable):
mirror 1: http://www.multiupload.com/BWE16F2YTH
mirror 2: dg-ics-on-screen
Download No Buttons (Experimental):
mirror 1: http://www.multiupload.com/TESISLS5MV
No Button Build Issues:
Tethering and Hotspot Does Not Work
There May Be Some Other Issues
On Screen Is More Stable
GITHUB: (link coming soon when all sources are up)
Kernel Credit Of: Kwiboo (for the time being until my kernel is done)
Wifi and Bluetooth Fix Credit: Kwiboo
Install Instructions:
Boot into Clockwork Recovery
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache
-wipe dalvik
-install from zip
-reboot and enjoy!!
Notes:
Do not turn on 2D acceleration on in settings -> developer.
In spare parts turn off compatibility mode and restart for downloaded apps to work better in ics.
Need a root explorer like tool? I suggest using jrummy’s root browser.
The On Screen Button Version doesn’t lag as much and provides that ICS smooth scroll you wish to see.

It should be noted!!!
1.I did not have any part in creation of this, all credit goes to Drew Garin, I suggest you visit his site for full details (Linked above).

If you don't like drew, don't donate, don't download his build, and don't post in this thread.
That aside I'm eager to see if scrolling has improved over kwiboo's version. Because other than that, kwiboo's is pretty damn near perfect.

What's the ROM most of you are running?

Currently I'm on CM7, a nightly from 8/25 and have been since then. It's been fine so I've had no need to change. Well, it seems like WIFI tether doesnt work anymore...no device can connect to my tether, so I'm ready to give up and reflash., at least to test it out and see if that helps.
So should I just goto CM7 stable from October? Or is there a working ICS out there? Any thoughts? I'm really into CM7, so I'm leaning more towards that. Octobers build would be 2 months newer than what I have no so....
Thanks!

There's about 3 roms on rom manager that based on cm7.
I am the defender of Light and Truth. Suppressing the truth can incur the wrath of God.
So it's best to use Rom Manager? I've never used it before...just normally flashed the zip file. Not entirely sure if I'm even comfortable using Rom Manager.

I'm running a CM7 nightly from 10/1, and it's been running great. I get excellent battery life for the amount I use my phone, so I haven't seen a reason to change. As soon as the ICS rom's are somewhat stable, I'll probably try them, but I'll keep this one as a backup to always fall back on
ok cool, so with that said, is there a general concensus on which nightly is stable and runs good? I'm assuming not. I'm sure everyone is on a different nightly. Guess I could try one and hope for the best. Maybe a november nightly.

Miui is nice but has some lags. All the sense roms are heavy and it's frustrating the Loading... message to return home. I liked Team nocturnals sense 3.0 but has some issues with video playing and is unstable. So it's fast and no lag even has sense.
MikRunny Beta Sense 3.5 looks good but some features as the enable/disable 3g network are broken. May be will try sense again when it come out from beta.
CM7, I think is the best option, fast, not beauty as sense but very stable and customizable.

Any links to this? I cannot find anything out this. I wish they would just release a beta or something so that some of us can start cracking out the bugs, very annoying.
The gingerbread version works quite well but clearly is having problems without the hardware acceleration.
Broadcom, have a ICS version with hardware acceleration announced back in July:
http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/1700
Unfortunately, they've not released anything yet which is a big shame, particularly since the Rev2 boards are packing a 512Mb bit of RAM.
Hopefully they will update us on it!
Also, allowing the GB image to make use of the Rev2.0 512Mb RAM would help a little too.
Here ya go, they put all the source out.

why would you want a rom that's updated daily, that would mean that there are lots of bugs. you want a rom thats updated when needed. well, unless its a cm nightly. then they chanfe things a lot, and change things back
