Get snipped! Dock charging - Fascinate General

I've got a dock for my Fassy in each car, and docking it flips it to landscape mode, and since I've got mine running at 800mhz, its not the fastest to do all the operations when undocking. When someone calls me, I've got no chance at answering.
The solution? Snip your cables! Just drill a hole in the back so you can use a screw driver to pry off the back plate. Then snip all the cables except the black and red ones. Now you'll have a charge only dock, no resistors to tell the phone its in a dock. I couldn't find a software solution or a kernel hack.
While I was in there, I installed a bolt so I could bolt it to my dashboard.

Wizard Crashed During Flash...Just Thought I'd Share

For some odd reason my wizard likes to say the battery is full when its actually dead and that it's dead when it's really full. Well a few days ago I was reflashing to try and take care of the issue and it died during the middle of flashing. It would only goto the bootloader screen and would not charge. Well I decided I'd post a few pictures of my recovery technique utilizing my wife's phone. Cat5 cable striped at the end and twisted to each of the positive and negative battery terminals and the Blackberry's battery put it so I could use it to power the wizard.

How to build an emergency charger with two AA batteries

If you are tired of your battery draining off too rapidly ( Especially when using over clocking software like Pocket hack master and XCpuScalar) then you might consider building your own emergency charge device, like described in the fallowing link:

Enjoy!
Let's remember how odd this will look if you're trying to go on an airplane with a small Altoids tin with batteries in it!
This is really cool. Thanks!
It´s really nice, but for this price for one pice (20$) and the time to build it, it´s cheaper and easier to buy it ready made.
I get it for 10€ incl. shipping and then with four batteries.

nice nice nice
Well, when it is burned like you said, then it will by very hard to get a new transistor for it. So maybe you could search on the second hand market for a HTC HD2 with a broken screen and change that part on the photo.

[Q] Connecting to the back charging terminal

Hi guys!
Is it possible to connect and charge the phone through the back connectors?

My USB port seems to be broken and I was wondering if there is a way to modify a cable so that it can connect through the back connectors (which are supposed to be there because of the kick-ass car mount HTC was going to sell with the HD2)? I have seen a thread here of a guy doing it but I can't find it.
..or you can just use those External Battery charger but much better to get an Extra battery
I already ordered an external charger but I was wondering if this back terminal could be used.

Nexus 7 touch unresponsive

I have been using this device for more than 5 yrs. Recently screen rotation was not working so I tried to repair it by myself after watching some videos and forums. It was an easy process but due to my curiosity I dug into the hardware some more. During the process I mistakenly broke a piece from ZIF connector which was connected to the display. I don't know whether this could do anything to the touch. Now the touch becomes unresponsive. I am also thinking that the digitiser could be faulty but not ready to invest in a new one without knowing the real reason. Why this connector is for. Could this be the culprit? If so do I need to change the daughterboard? You can see the picture
