I think its dumb. Just my op.

I think its dumb you guys locked the ics thread. Regardless if it was drews actual post or not the whole point of android is do what you want and ics and a port and thread and comments and rants and what not is the whole point of forums like this. Hello nexus s development has not one thing on it about ics. That should seem odd. Maybe I need to fire up my nexus one. How can we progress if u take away the online progress. I understand the guy has his own site and what not but that was are only insight into ics on xda. And we use the only phone that's going to get it first . Stop being online nerds. And let people complain there going to do it anyways. And then its too complicated they way you want it. Every post is not going to to as nice a professional as a cm thread. Let people talk that's how you come to understand not every body is a phone guru. You need conversation as well as knowledge. I'm just sayin. Now when is beta 10 coming who knows but I bet the guy with the random twitter post knows more than I do but we can't share that info now. You guys are missing the whole point. Just sayin. Problem is you got mods actively participating in meaningless and pointless threads when part of their job is to shut those said threads down because XDA is filled with too much "clutter" in their own words. They say this site is for developers, but without users and people to share their work with that's kind of pointless unless you're devving for only yourself. I can see the justice in flaming a noob for asking questions they can easily find by searching and doing a little legwork, i can also see the justice in flaming a dev for kanging or misrepresenting or not properly testing stuff they put out. What I don't understand is why you get flamed for having a thoughtful backed up opinion around here, you can't say anything without being attacked by Team Whoever when voicing an opinion on a member of said team, or barraged by all the mindless dickriders that claim their Dev as God and can do no wrong...

Very very well said dude. I didnt see a problem with my thread, we may have been violating some rules and that gave them the reason to close it, but I just think it was a bit ridiculous that someone who wasnt even assigned to moderate this thread came to close it.

Stupid tapatalk pics not working i guess...remember when a dev team was kinda like ok you got a guy that's good at coding to get the rom booting maybe create or modify a kernel, and get everything working, then hand it off to the guy thats good at tweaks and scripts to make it faster and smoother, then hand it off to a themer to make the rom beautiful and unique? And then add to it over time to make it better based on user experience or expand said rom to other phones? That is the definition of a dev team... not these dev gangs having dev wars...just my 2 cents

Who are you again? I have never heard of you. Didn't know you were part of and/or ran a development team to define how things should go. From the looks of it ... You haven't been around long enough to witness these teams you speak of in action, but that's irrelevant. Say who you're speaking on.

Hi, I found on the internet as a button with the nexus.
Przestestowałem and works so postanowaiłem add it on our forum.
We need to add to the build.prop at the end only this line: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Then save and do reboot.
And everything should work.

Camera-Nexus Buttons hide button on the photo was taken but just install eg zoom camera and everything works fine.

Ya, rules is rules no doubt about that, but we also should have to give and take towards each other. THIS IS ABOUT ATTITUDE . Come On people stop fighting... xda for developing not fighting... even if you have started ignore and smile away would it hurt? also yeah i tried this edited build.prop didnt even did anything wrong and i lost everything no bootloops no soft brick nothing... no bootanimation... thats weird but yeah thanks to hand dandy CWM flashed over the custom rom again... did i do anything?

What did you use to edit? I recommend solid never let's you down. The reason I'm asking is before shut_down had said notepad+ had resulted in soft bricks..
And someone on comp needs to report this thread! It's going too much especially in the dev section!!

With my ZTE Blade, there was a ROM called JoyOS which was exactly iOS, but I don't know if they still support this rom.
You can also download Espier launcher, lock screen and notification to mimic it.

knoxraid donation mishap

just want to clear the air here. During the time knoxraid was going, Drake was looking for a host for paypal. I asked him why and his reply was because he didnt want anyone to think it was a scam, I was to hold the account till the amount was received then go buy the phone and send it to him, that way everyone knew he was really getting one. Things got crazy and he said he was getting a loan to cover the phone and asked me to send what was receieved in paypal to him. I was the middle man in this and because the funds were not mine, I sent them to him. I am posting this because I dont want anyone to think I had something to do with this and already had a claim in paypal opened against me because of this. I contacted that person and now the claim has been closed. Please understand that @faslane and myself were only trying to help Drake out, we were in it for the progress of KR, not for money and we had no idea what was going on.
I am trying to clear the air and let everyone know where the funds went and all proof of those funds have been sent to xda so they know as well. Thank you for understanding, I hope to never see something like this ever happen again, I have certainly learned my lesson.

After I made my original claim I didn't get on XDA for days because I knew I would get flamed for it. I came back expecting hate pm's and threads to be cleared. I feel bad for his following that donated so much of the hard to come by money now days. I donated 20 bucks because I genuinely loved the product that was put out. I thought foul language was against XDA rules, that post does just that. If you are going to follow the rules and say others should, maybe people should try following ALL the rules, not just the ones that fit them.

The mods let that slide and it was before they were as strict with language.
They let it slide because it needed to be said.

I don't know why Drake even did this.Although this site isn't to make money. His rom was the most popular, and he put in the most work. People would've donated to him anyways. Didn't need to scam us.

People get famous and then greed takes over. He probably thought he wouldn't get caught. But Tapatalk gave it away.

There are so many great and honest people in this forum, there are those full of knowledge and those just starting out, people that search and those that just ask, and with all of that put into one place, it can get crazy, but we all pull together and help make xda what it is today. I'm just glad that people like the one that did this is way out numbered by those that don't. Unfortunately, now I must be cautious as to how far I will go to help someone, I hope others can also learn from my mistakes and how I was mislead. Xda is still another home for me, always will be.
