Hi there.
My carrier has just enabled LTE (AWS 2100/1700) Band 4 and I already have the LTE SIM installed, sadly my Android version its the 4.2.2 and I would like to know if I've been connected to LTE, how can I know this?
Can I install and App or do I need to update Android.
Just a very quick question...
I moved to US recently and bought AT&T sim, problem is i cant get any data in my Note 3 N9005 LTE international. can I install the AT&T firmware 900T to be able to get the data?
Any particular firmware version?
Thanks in advance.
No, you will brick your device. The reason you can't get data is because the international LTE is not the same frequency with AT&T frequency. Try switching your data to WCDMA (4G in Europe)

What you need to know:
You need to be either on B133, or B3xx to upgrade. (xx means any number, like B312, B303......)
You need to have root/superuser removed to upgrade.
Upgrade might erase user data, to be safe backup first.
If you are not on the required versions, go to the download page, below the big blue "下载" button, there's a link:
版本: B133【EMUI3.0_Android4.4】...................
Click it to download and flash your B133
To download the upgrade ROM, click the big blue "下载" button.

you probably need to upzip to get the UPDATE.APP
Upxip? Means unzip?
And then to run an exe file? Did I understand you correctly?
I thought to locate the zip file in SD card\dload and to run the updater to local file.

Make sure the UPDATE.APP is in the dload folder on the external sd card.
What I did was:
Power off my phone
Press and hold power, volume up, and volume down
Once the phone turns on, release power
Keep holding volume up and volume down until the firmware update starts automatically
Keep in mind that this will wipe all of your data, so you might want to backup.
Is this the final release or it's still on beta stage !?

If you followed the update guide found in the downloaded zip file and upgrade to lollipop from the recommended versions you should be fine.

These versions are for phones sold in main land Chinese only. Is your phone one of the four main land Chinese versions?(TL00, TL10, UL00, CL00)
Note: there's also a TL10 international version. If you have TL10 you probably have the international version.

Is there anyway of allowing a different provider's SIM to be the main card?
Is there anyway to unlock the SIM? or flash with a different/custom ROM?

you have to add lte bands by qxdm method or you shouldn't buy the varizon device.

Decided to pull the trigger and do this following a guide on Youtube. I used firmware G935VVRU2APD2 and followed this how-to https://youtu.be/WVzXvMa5FQ4 and everything worked out perfect.
Hi ,
Do you know any code to be able to list all LTE band supported by the device ?
I'm trying *#*#4636#*#* but nothing happens.
I transformed my L04C567 to L09C432 hopping it will active dual sim but it did not
before I revert back to L04 I would like to check if it supports same LTE bands or not.
Thanks,
Laurent
It's hardware related not software... So even installing ie L09 or any other firmware which supports dual sim. So its not going to work
