OK, can somebody guide me where to start from to pull this off. How am I supposed to compile a kernel module for the Nexus 7? Can I use a rooted stock ROM?
Cheers!

Nexus 4 with Easycap

Hi
I want to use my Nexus 4 as a DVR with an Easycap USB Adapter and USB OTG Y Cable.
I know that it is possible with an Nexus 7 but i dont know if it is possible with an Nexus 4.
My Nexus 4 is with Purity 4.4.4 Rom and Franco Kernel and my Easycap is a UTV007.
Is here anyone who got it working and could help me?

You need to flash an otg kernel to activate otg on your nexus 4.
USB OTG is working (tested with USB Stick), i installed a USB OTG Patch for Nexus 4 from here somewhere.
Hi,
Did you got this working? I mean were you able to connect easycap to Nexus4?
If yes, could you please guide me on the same.
Thanks

[Q] Looking for 4.3 jellybean kernel with drivedroid mass storage mode support.

Hey guys,
I'm still running 4.3 (last X-Note Version with Custom N3 Kernel 08) but unfortunately my note only supports CD-Rom mode in DriveDroid.
Is there any kernel out there for 4.3 that has the mass storage mode enabled? Unfortunately I cant find the original thread / dev for the Custom N3 Kernel or else I'd try to apply the necessary patch myself.
(you cant patch already compiled kernel right??) Its just the usb driver that needs patching I think.
Would be great if you could recommend a kernel for me.
My phone is set up PERFECTLY (spend weeks on configuring everything, with various mods, xposed modules n stuff.. so I really dont want to switch to Kitkat with all its annoying "features").

[Q] Drivedroid kernel question

Hey everyone,
I have a Galaxy Note 3 with stock 4.4.2 rom and root. I wish to use Drivedroid so I can boot images from my phone.
Is it possible to use the stock rom with a custom kernel from, say, cyanogenmod, X Note, etc. so I can use my phone as a cd drive and UMS device at the same time?
Or is anyone able the patch the stock kernel to allow UMS mode and maybe fast charging?
Any other info regarding the use of drivedroid on a stock rom with root would be helpful.

In kernels thread you can see what developer say about which roms are supported.
