When I connect my U8800-51 on pink screen to Win7, it comes up as "Android Composite ADB Interface" under "Android Phone". I need to have it be recognized by Roadkil's DiskImage so I can flash write the stock Froyo image to it. Can anyone help me on how to install the correct drivers for it?

Hey Everyone,
Backstory: Softbricked my nexus 7 - its now in a bootloop. I am running Cyanogenmod 10.0 (I believe), Rooted and running ClockworkMod Recovery, and am NOT USB Debugging Enabled. Now in the process of reflashing Nakasi JZO54K (4.1.2) to soft-bricked Nexus 7 via fastboot.
I'm trying to access my nexus 7 (2012) via adb but my computer will not recognize my device. I am currently following Comminus's flashing guide, but I can't even get my computer to recognize my device via the command prompt "adb devices" - nothing comes up.
I have tried to install/update the usb drivers with the ones from Asus's website - those did not update the drivers. I also tried using the drivers i downloaded through the android sdk located in the android sdk folder (C:/user/AppData/Local/Android/android-sdk/extras/google/usb_driver) and those did not successfully update the drivers either. But my device is being recognized in the device manager "grouper" rather than "android".
I might be what in Comminus's words, "driver hell". But I don't know what that means or what to do from there...please help anybody!
I have run into a situation where i have no rom loaded or available to install on my ls980. I do have Philz Clockwork mod installed and working and am also able to get into download mode. I figured it would be as simple as "Install zip from sideload" and an adb sideload from the computer. Unfortunately I have not had any luck getting the computer to recognize the device when in Clockwork Mod. It seems to be a driver issue, but I have tried many versions of the LG United Phone Driver with no luck. In device manager, it is listed as LG-LS980, with an error that no driver can be found. Adb is working for me, but does not list any devices under "ADB devices", I assume because the device is not finding a driver. I am on Windows XP. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
I flashed CloudG3 rom under CWM, and after install it won't boot the system - it sends me to CWM recovery instead.
Figured I would install another ROM but my device is not recognised by windows (won't show up under my computer). Can you please guide me on what I could do to sort this?
Thanks
Install the lg g2 drivers to get recognised by the os, after you download driver for adb sideload and restart, run sideload in the recovery with the usb pulgged in ur pc.
Open Android folder, and then do to platform-tools, drag a ROM there to be installed. Open a command in this folder. Write what is in the cellphone, adb sideload romfilename.zip if i'm right, then it will start installing and then you get out of the recovery stuck.
Using TWRP.
Hi
I installed lg drivers but it didn't help - looked like it was CWM that was causing an issue to get the device detected by computer.
Before you posted, I followed the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2739739 - this helped to get TWRP on top of CWM. Under TWRP, the device is detected by windows
Now should I install a rom using your guidance above or can I do it under TWRP? Or is it the same?
hello, I need a help and a solution.
pro3 X727
TWRP 3.2.1.0
I wiped all partitons on twrp and I tought to reinstall a rom via sideload.
but it got failed with "error 7" so I could not install via sideload mode.
next, I bought OTG cable and tried to install a rom, but x727 didn't recognize USB memory so I could not install a rom.
next, my PC not recognize x727 running twrp so I cannot trasfer a rom to it.finally I cannot install any rom. besides, there is not "internal storage" in the mount selection on twrp. anyone have good solution?
thanks.
sorry, I've solved this myself.
what is wrong was adb driver.
"gogole nexus adb driver" was installed as a default.
then I changed to "android composite ADB interface".
finally PC recognaized x727 as a ADB device while running twrp and I can do "ADB push" a ROM.

I did not see you post or I would have suggested checking the PC drivers, remove peripherals, update drivers, adb, etc.
I am glad you were able figure it out.
