Dude if I am not wrong your are the one who started the CM10 discussion thread. So can assume you would be aware of where to post the Questions - in the Q&A thread. But seeing this is :banghead:

You should study, study, read, then study some more so you're
1) Posting in the proper forum (Questions go in Q&A) and you understand
2) Best anything is what works properly, for you, on your phone.
Don't flash a thing until you fully understand the process, the risks, and how to get back if anything goes awry.

Wow who would've thought u were a fortune telle too? I can see the future also, and don't for see this thread being or ever being a development thread. So it obviously doesn't belong in the development section. It was actually lucky to make it to the general [email protected] Op please post in the proper forum
No option for rooted stock with my own changes applied?
I'm going to wait until CyanogenMod has their 2.2 rom out. Besides, I have to swap my evo, so no need in doing any flashing right now.

custom kernels

Hi guys - what is the method for installing a custom or test kernel on the Incredible? I've rebuild the kernel source with my changes, but I can't seem to find info on how a new image and/or its modules should be installed to the system.
I saw the undervolt kernel, but it looks like it has to be put into an update.zip file - is this the only method to push an image?
Thanks, Matt.
shouldn't this go under Q&A? Why is the development section overflooded with Q&A? Do the mods not moderate this section?
The N1 dev section is heavily moderated.
anyway, kernels can be flashed if you have the boot image in recovery.

This really helped me understand a lot of how this stuff is done. It's written for the Nexus One, but the process should be similar.
The site is : theunlockr.com ... Click on How To's --> android --> then Nexus One.
Hope this helps. Goodluck.
Edit: This reply was meant for a diff thread but may help people here as well.

Not sure if he'll do anything about all the random comments in his thread. Also you may have wanted to post in the Q&A section. Doesnt bother me much but i bet most here would blast you for posting here
He posted this in another thread...
