think the only way is to install an english ROM off this forum or the official UK ROM off the toshiba website, hope this helps

my trophy (from voda AU) has Dutch, English, Spanish, French, and Italian. I believe by default the OS is multilingual, but manufacters have the capability to disable languages if they see fit (a rare case, but happened with the HD7 for T-Mobile, from what I've read).
I'm sure you mean Deutsch and not Dutch, or am I wrong?

I'd say you can change them in settings (remember i'm new to the phone)
Settings......region & language..... for the phone language .
Settings....keyboard for texting language . Maybe someone who speaks German could tell you what is German for the words in bold
