Hi,
I already saw multiple threads about official ICS for the wifi-only model, but there seems to be no such (official) firmware available. My KIES states that "You have the latest firmware", with the additional info "PDA:LB4 / CSC:LA1 (ATO)". Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Ondras
I have ICS on my p6810 installed from Kies. I also received the 2nd update ota.

I only can update over Samsung's Kies, never received an OTA. Maybe only available in some countries like uk...
I just got the OTA update in the U.S right now...2.3.6

Just to add to your comment and distinguish the ATT SGS2 and ATT SKHROCKET) They just released the 2.3.6 for the ATT SGS2 (NOT the skyrocket). So maybe the i9100 UK will be on its way also. But i would bet you will see a full version of ICS before we do. Or is that what you guys just got recently? (or is at a leak of ics?)

you can update with kies
Hi, I've just finished charging my new p6810 and it has informed me there is a firmware update available.
My question is, if I update (to ics, I assume?), could this cause me any difficulties if I later decide to unlock boot loader, root etc?
I have had a search but can't find anything conclusive, so I'm either blind our guessing it's not an issue. However, I'd appreciate confirmation.
I live in Australia, don't know if this has any relevance to update.
Cheers guys!

Well I know this update is not ics, it's only 0.07mb big. I will have a search to see what it does.

Just download latest ROM and flash it with Odin. Root is also easy to apply later.
The tab is just so much better with ICS don't waste time using HC.

Should the above firmware/rom work on an Australian P6810?
Cheers!
For us uk locked Tmobile (EE) users they have released XXELL1 4.1.2 on Sam mobile. Downloading now.
After a problem with Kies updating the Rom ( my laptop ) it's was over to Odin 3.07 to do it. Everything is working mainly mobile data, any other Rom thats wasn't TUM caused the Data to break as it's locked to Tmobile (EE).
I haven't rooted it yet as I don't want to get that red triangle to popup. Will I have to change the bootloader for the cure?
My father's S3 is on EE, has the 4.1.2 update been released officially on Kies yet? It's so silly how they have blocked the OTA option on their roms

Yes, if he connects to Kies he will be offered 4.1.2 but after my problems with Kies use Odin to flash it. Goto Samobile to download.
Do u guys reckon this means we are finally gonna get our JB update, or are some of you already downloading it (and preventing me from doing the same)

Do I have to back up everything before doing an ota update sorry new to Ota.
Also is ota updating better easier than using kies.
Was never happier to see kies finally work on my mac so i could upgrade to JB

Australia being at the bottom of the world, Samsung released the n8010 JB update 1st.... When are they going to release the n8000 JB?
Hi there,
Like some people I installed the leaked 4.2.2 update for my Note 8 wifi. I'm curious when the official version comes out for my country (usa) will it show up as an official OTA update or will I have to manually install it?
Sent from my GT-N5110 using Tapatalk 4
More than likely you'll have to install it manually. It's very rare that you will see an OTA for an unofficial leaked build.
