That rom is flawless already, also cm7 is pretty dead, try moving to cm9 or if you don't mind a few bugs cm10, awesome roms

I have a Defy, which flashed the DHT-25 rom and became Defy+ now.
As DHT-25 cannot be rooted, what I can do to install CM9 on it?
Is the CM9 not yet stable?
Thanks!

Anyone can help?
CM9 is still experimental... it is very good, but not stable.
If it it's compatible with your rom or your kernel, I don't know.

cm9 daily - 5-5-2012 is very good!
I've been uploading the dailys since 4-16 version. This last one (5/7/2010) is vastly improved over 4-16. the camera, tether and all features I've checked work (green lens) and the battery life is much improved. I like it so much I donated $10. Kudo guys for the great work!
Had CM9 on my Defy+ for two weeks, went back to 2.3.6 original Rom. too many glitches.
The worst was screen locking itself after a call, had to restart every time.
Defiantly will try future versions.
Sorry if this sounds like a noob question. Is there a CM7 or 9 ROM which is based on gingerbread kernel (e.g. 4.5.3-109_DPP-11)? The reason I ask is that I really like CM7 functionality, but have heard that gb kernel based roms (like ms2ginger) have awesome battery life. If there is such a ROM, does it have battery life comparable to ms2ginger?
Cm7.2 or cm9 defy+ builds work on gingerbread kernel. You can use 4.5.2.109 dht 22 kernel, which ms2ginger uses, and with it either cm72 or cm9 gives similar battery life. You can find the kernel link in Walters ms2ginger thread, if any difficulty tell me I can upload for u.

For eppy builds goto HTTP://defy.wdscript.fr

Thanks! Now I just have to figure out which one to use between Quarx and Epsilon..
I couldn't find the thread or topic for Quarx/Eppy's gb bases CM7.2. Does someone have the link?
I flashed the Rom of Quarx's latest cm9 ICS version.
And now he may be all developping the CM10.:good:
Does anyone know that whether Quarx will update the CM9 or not?
The CM10 might be a long time to debugging stage for normal using .but CM9 is nearly final-stable.I hope Quarx can do the final step to finish the Final-CM9.
Is there possible that change the CM9 as smooth as CM10 or each more smooth? Maybe it's impossible.

For Quarx and eppsy this is a hobby, so its normal that quarx now spends lots of time with the new toy (CM10) but, it seem to be pretty much compatible with CM9, so yeah, in 2 or 3 weeks once they get tired of toying with CM10, I bet we will see more news of cm9
Its Already started my friend....
Serach for this thread in XDA.... 1768702
Epsylon already stated that his intention is to create a stable ICS first

From the way it looks on github, Quarx is getting repos ready and laying down the groundwork for CM10 while Epsy is still working on CM9 and starting CM7 for the Samsung 9103. I wouldn't expect either of them to leave CM9 unfinished. I don't remember them abandoning CM7 for CM9. I only wish I'd have checked Epsy's ICS repo before starting a compile a couple of hours ago.
is there a patch for recording 720p videos for cm9 quarx builds defy+ ??? please help!!
Why use cm9 when we have cm10? As far as I remember Quarx added the feature to cm10, but there were reports of lagginess. Search Quarx's cm10 thread in dev section for it.
Edit: 09.24 changelog: added 720p (not default, unstable)

CM10 is by far more stable than CM9, you should try the latest ROM.
May i install 2ndboot (Cyanogenmod 10) rom just like an ordinary one, on Defy (MB 525)
Yes.
Hi! I don't want to create another thread just to ask this so I'm gonna use this one...
I've this doubt: as I see, last nightly release of Quarx for the MB525 is CM10-20120924-NIGHTLY-mb525.zip, but that one isn't 2ndboot right?
So, if I'm not getting it wrong on his thread, he says that 2ndboot builds are the ones that are dated from 2012-10-10 and on...
But the MB525 doesn't have any newer build from the 2012-09-24...
So my question is: all the files in the folder cm10-2ndboot-nightly-mb52x listed in one of his mirrors...
Can these by used with MB525 even if in their names just put MB526? (ie: CM10-20121205-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip).
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english...
Yes
