Rooted the device, superuser installed and working, purchased MobileOdin Pro from the app store... downloaded the ICS update from XDA, ran Odin, checked the MD5 checksum, all OK.
Tab is now continuously rebooting, won't go into recovery mode (power and volume up doesn't work now)
Please see screenshot for messages on restarting. Samsung boot message comes up, then the attached pops up, then the tab restarts itself in an endless loop.
Any ideas?

Hey, a few days ago my gf's Xcover stopped working, it shows the samsung xcover 2 screen and then the screen immediately goes all black and nothing happens.
The problem is it won't boot, recovery won't open, the only thing that works is odin mode.
I tried to install CWM with odin, but can't open it, tried re-installing the original firmware from sammobile but it still won't boot.
The phone isn't rooted and the CWM recovery I installed was from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352252
Really need some more experienced help with this
Thanks and best regards
I have a Note 3 (SM-N9005) running Lollipop 5.0 I tried to root (n900-cwm-recovery-6.0.5.0-kk(0812) via Odin. It PASSED) but couldn't get to custom recovery. It would only go to download mode with a message at the top of the screen saying "could not do normal boot". Tried re-flashing 3 times but still same result
So i re-flashed stock ROM with the idea to start again. Got a PASS according to Odin.
But now the phone mostly freezes at the Samsung boot screen and then shuts down. Occasionally it makes it all the way to starting but then shuts down again. Any ideas please??
Thanks
PS. I can get to stock recovery and download mode
So recently I tried to root my Galaxy Note 4 device, I think I downloaded cf_autoroot first and tried to root it with Odin, something went wrong and I unplugged my device from usb cable. Afterwards when I tried to reboot it, a black screen popped up with message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again". After that I tried to install other custom recoveries, but I think that they were not proper ones. The message that says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again" is now gone yes, but when i try to reboot my phone, it's stuck on Samsung logo screen, loading forever. Also when I want to acess my boot recovery menu by holding volume up+home button+power, the samsung galaxy note 4 logo appears with little message on top of the screen saying "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" My phone was running on 6.0.1 marshmallow before | tried to root it, also Kies won't recognize it, he does not want to recognize my usb at all unless in Odin mode. Phone model number is SM-N910C
Hello guys. I'm new here and desperate for help. I have rooted my phone successfully 1 month ago. today I've tried to install twrp on my S7 edge (smg 935f) and i've made some mistake because I don't know what im doing I first download app from store called 'TWRP Manager (Requires ROOT)' and through that app i installed twrp. but then i could not enter recovery mod so i watched video on youtube (How To Root/Unlock Bootloader/Install TWRP Recovery on Galaxy S7 Edge (EXYNOS SuperSU Tutorial) and start doing that. As i saw in one of top comments from some developer i unchecked auto reboot in odin so my phone didnt start rebooting after finishing instalation and while it was done in odin (it said PASS) i still could see 'downloading please dont turn off target' on screen. then i press stand by volume up and home button but nothing happened. so i run files again in odin and press start again but this time odin stuck on 'setup connection' and after 5-10min i turned off odin and disconected usb... and from that point i stop trying anything with cable and pc. only thing i can do now i power button-volume down-home and from there if i press down button to restart phone it gets stuck on 'Samsung galaxy s7 edge powered by android' screen... so only thing i can use now is actually download mode and nothing else...
So now i just want to make my s7 work again, please, give hint what to do from this download mode now i dont care if its stock frimeware or what ever, i just need it to revive again
My battery was 60% when i started (around 30mins ago) and i dont know how much time it will last with this screen turned on...
Thank you guys in advance!!
Hi,
A3 2016 SM-A310F
I rooted my phone after a couple of years of not having done this type of thing and then got a bit carried away uninstalling system apps with Titanium I think (all microsoft, Samsung (Galaxy?) Health etc) (might have been the last one that did it?)
Now the phone is stuck on the boot screen 'Samsung Galaxy A3 6 Powered by Android'
I cant enter recovery mode or turn off the phone
I can only go into Odin mode or whatever its called with vol up + power + home
How can I get out of this please?
Thanks
Edit: I managed to solve it:
downloaded the 7.0 ROM from Sammobile (I wanted to go back to 6.0.1 but that gave a fail)
flashed it using Odin
