Adreno Libs - XPERIA X8 General

Ohai , Yesterday my mother bought a Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 for her , http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_mini_2_s6500-3883.php , and it has Qualcomm MSM7227 , i was testing with antutu and 3d score was outstanding 907 score for a 800 mhz processor , so i took the adreno 200 libs from it . Sadly i end with a soft brick after i installed them . Here they are , maybe devs can mod them and work on our phone.

Its because galaxy mini 2 is armv7

Gpu question

I'm sure you guys hate me by now but I have another question. On the vibrant I got alot better 3d and 2d results on quadrant. Alot ov you are going go say quadrant doesnt matter but still... So does the vibrant have a better gpu? I know on the custom kernals they removed the fps cap with some kind of hack.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
Yes. I do recall reading about vibrant having better gpu.
As for scores, put two phones side by side and actually use them to see if there's much of difference.
[via XDA app]
No I will agree the mytouch is alot smoother. But the cpu is better tho.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
Yes, samsung galaxy s's use a hummingbird processor, which uses the PowerVR SGX540 which is better than the adreno 205 found on the mytouch's 2nd Gen snapdragon.

Ace display resolution is 320x480 (X10 - 480x852), photo is better in X10. RAM - 384 MB like X10.
Ace is worse than X10 at all.
why swap for a ARMv6 phone? many of my friends using it and they are complaining it! And it even lags when playing angry birds, but our x10 still can handle some HD games, no way you can compare X10 to Ace...
Now if it was x10 for galaxy s, I'd say go for it

Totally agree! And in Malaysia, Ace is having a same price tag with Mini, Mini Pro, Live with walkman. All of them using the MSM8255, which is superior to MSM7227, in every way.

Yeah definitely that is what my current incredible s has...
You can overclock to 2ghz no problem, and the graphics performance of the adreno 205 is fantastic.

So much for "Iphone 5 will put S3 to shame" ...

First Geekbench results of Apples new Wonder-Phone:
http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1030202
And btw. ist no where near a A15 inside the Iphone 5, it's ARM v7.
Galaxy S3 does 1600 in Geekbench Stock, too. No overclocking, no nothing.

Seems the iPhone 5 is only running at 1.02Ghz.
The iphone 5 dual core is faster than our quadcore. Search for new benchmarks in google -.-

If it's not fake then good work for the benchmark until Jellybean for S3 arrives
http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1026099
Still S3 outperforms Iphone5 :good:
And Iphone 5 will only use that for the gaming applications because their homescreen is so basic (No widgets and true multitasking), so to summarize it's still a useless upgrade.. I'd rather buy a Ps vita/nintendo DS for gaming if the main focus of apple products is to improve the hardware for gaming.

4 Cores at 1.4Ghz should win out over 2 Cores at 1Ghz. But by a lot more than that.

The only thing that pulls the iPhone 5 benchmark scores higher is memory bandwidth.... The s3's cpu scores substantially higher.

If it's only an ARM v7 then it can't outperform ours because ours are ARM v9's (international s3's dunno about American etc)

Speechless after Reading Snapdragon 800 / 600

Speechless after Reading Snapdragon 800 / 600,
Samsung probably won't implement this on their next Flagship; but wouldn't the Snapdragon 800/600 outperform the Exynos 5 processors? This is crazy, but mobile technology is making long strides.
Maybe but no one will be able to touch the unique and innovative software and tw ux

Well, CNET says the 800 would be coming to mobile devices (mobile phones as well) in Q2 of this year.
Im loving the News From The Guys Who Make Snapdragon Processors, they clocked some of the newer ones at 2,3 Ghz (Possibly NOT Overclocked ^__^)

big.little and octa core are same............2 quad cores ARM SoC attached back-back...one A7 quad core for simple tasks and another A15 quadcore for heavy stuff...battery consumtion has been reported to be way low than what we have now:fingers-crossed:

3D Mark result

What is your 3D Mark result?
You can download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.futuremark.dmandroid.application
I'm a little surprised I get only 2727 while Tegra3 devices get almost 4400 and even one Tegra2 device was higher (overclocked maybe? or mistake... Galaxy Tab 10.1).
Ice Storm Extreme: 2060 (here only new generation devices are higher, so it's quite a good result)

According to reviews........ The app seems to not be working correctly or causing overheating for many users.
I'm a little leary to install the app because of overheating claims.
Has anyone experienced overheating?
Thanks

Don't worry about overheating- the kernel has some excellent thermal-management code in it that first downclocks you to 800MHz (which will kill your benchmark result ), then if that doesn't cool you down, shuts down the Note.
Galaxy Note 10.1 3G 4.2.2 Baked ROM (1.6 GHz)

OIC. I have a vzw s3, so adreno ftw.
Same low score here. Can't be right
lol, my HTC One S (snapdragon S4 dual, 1 gig ram) gets scores which are more than double what my Note 10.1 gets. WTF?
Erm, unless y'all are running phones with 1280x800 resolution, there's no point in comparing the scores of those with that of the Note.
I'm really disapointing about the results with that benchmark are. It's maybe because Exynos 4412 is not as powerfull as we thought
