I have tried flashing everything else in Hemidall and i can flash everything except the modem.:crying: I want to know if you guys had any Idea about how i can fix this because I have tried everything and i have no idea what to do. Any help appreciated:laugh:

Just try flashing via ODIN again. Mine would get stuck sometimes and I would just unplug my phone, exit Odin, plug the phone back in and start the flash again..
Did you wipe system, data, cache, delvik, all that good stuff, before you flashed?

Check the md5 on the file, reflash, or just flash the modem in heimdall

Have you tried redownloading the ROM? You may also want to try extracting the modem from the full 07 build, and flashing it in heimdall.

Hi guys tried flashing just the modem in heimdall and it did not work btw i was on EC07 prior to flashing. Anyway i went to verizon and used my upgrade to get a Gnexus:laugh:!
Thanks guys for all the help. I will still check back as my continuum was a trusty little phone and the devs here were super cool.

yup and it wouldnt work, it kept telling me it failed, other people are telling me i have to repartition my phone and that i need a pit file but when i asked where do i get it they just told me to look for, i have been and i been at this for 4 hours now.
Did you re flash the old original recovery? Because there wouldn't be a failed error in the original one....

well i tried everything and somehow i got it to boot up again, but....no wifi or 3g network works, so im guessing the radio file got deleted, is there a way to fix that or am i screwed
hardware version i400.0.6
model number SHC-I400
Firmware version 2.1-update1
baseband version S:i400.0.6v.DL17
kernel version 2.6.29
SHC-I400.DJ20
Yup, that's normal... re flash the cwm recovery through imnuts guide, and restore your backup
If you don't have one, then flash the DL17 clean rom...
Your radio is fine, btw xD
Oh, and also btw, be honest... After you followed the magical guide to the T, was that what you thought got it to work, or did you try something else in between? if you did something else, then I'll add it to the magical fix post xD thanks in advance

i dont think my radio is fine anymore, i was too impatient that i flashed the dl09 radio.
well i did alot, i cant really tell you what i did in exact order because there was too much at 4 in the morning after working on this for 6 hours but here we go:
odin cwm recovery
used new update.zip from cwm forum
tried flashing adryns rom and imnuts kernel
tried flashing dj20 system and kernel
fixed permissions
tried nandroid restore
used "magical fix"
had to reinstall my drivers for samsung because of magical fix
repartition device via odin
reflashed dj20 system and kernel via odin
radio file not working so i flashed dl09(because i was too impatient and panicking)
turned on, set up phone, turn off, download mode,
odin cwm recovery with former update.zip
cwm flashed adrynalynes rom and peanutbutterjelly kernel
rebooted, then rebooted back to recovery,
restored nandroid backup
phone works once again
i do not know if that helps, well thats all i did, and i believe it was it that order
You officially just tbagged your self now when it comes to updates xP
I told you nothing was wrong with the modem
Yes, a fascinate modem might work on our phone, but Now if we get an update, your not going to be able to flash it xP lol...
if this doesn't bother you, that's okay xD but if it does, there might be something you can do (aka... Pm me xP)
Sent from my Continuum
I know! Ahhh! I read that right after I had already flashed the radio. It kind of does bother me so I, pm'd you
Sent from my mind
You'll be able to flash an update via Clockwork when a ROM is created so I wouldn't worry too much.

Not unless someone modifies the update xD all you would have to do though is delete the modem-delta file xD

Looks like I bricked the phone

I had put on the ICS 4.0.3 from the google code project.
It worked fine, but I wanted to go back to my fully functional phone. I earlier had darky's 10.2.2 EE.
For going back to Darky's, I downloaded the latest pakcage 10.4.2 and went into CWM. It failed to update. then I tried wiping the cache etc, then also it failed to flash the package.
Then I tried using CWM's restore and wanted to go back to image prior to darky 10.2.2.. that also failed.
now when I rebooted system, hoping to do a factory reset, the phone is not booting up.
I tried connecting odin in download mode, that odin cant see the phone, even though the download mode is visible on the phone.
need help, seriously, and urgently...

If you have download mode you will be fine, its only a soft brick.
If its not recognizing your phone in download mode it means drivers are not installed properly, download kies from Samsung it will install correct drivers.
Try again full stock gb rom with Odin and reparation selected.
Also post in help next time.

First of all, I think that you wrote in the wrong forum, should be in General section.
That said... if you can enter download mode, then your phone is NOT bricked.
Just install (or reinstall) Samsung USB drivers for your PC, and Odin will connect again.
Edit: I tought I was the first to reply but it seems others were quicker in that

Apologies for the wrong forum, I guess I was too panicky...
Now I found a solution, use odin with a different computer (which had the drivers etc set up), then get this rom
http://www.darkyrom.com/community/index.php?threads/odin-darkyrom-10-2-resurrection-gt-i9000.4272/
flash it using the instructions given, and wow, the phone is back to life.
After that, I I upgraded to Darky's 10.4.2 and it looks good so far..
Thanks for the help, tips, ideas and the patience for my mis-placed msg in this forum.
what would I do without open source community ?
love you guys

Reported as junk. Because people are serious and you are not more clever than anyone here.
This document from my ROM project.
You need to start from "How to install JVU stock Firmware" part and stop at installing GamerzRom step.
Please report this thread for moving it right place. Be careful mate. You can't switch from Cyanogenmod and ICS to Samsung based roms from CWM. You need to flash original rom with repartition again.
If your PC doesn't see the device, try Ubuntu live cd or Virtualbox. You can flash your phone with heimdall on Ubuntu. If you need help about this just PM me. Take care mate.

Just to make you know. You shouldnt flash any stock based from over cm/ics rom, because it runs on totally different partitioning and file systems.....flashing this will most likely cause soft brick....next tikme use Odin if coming from cm/ics roms to stock ones

Problems even after re-installing the firmware! [Note 2 N7100]

First of all i used CWM to root my phone flashed via odin. Then i accidently installed chainfire 3d's driver, it wasn't booting and was freezed so i re-installed the firmware. now everything works fine except the LED notifications, only when i restart it, the LED turns blue. doesn't lit up even while charging/missed calls etc. and alarm sound isn't working either (quiet odd), while call and other sound based notifications works perfectly fine!!
I searched and searched, but none has problems similar to me. Please suggest me to try something that'll work besides re-installing the firmware again. not sure if custom kernel will do or not :'(
btw i rooted it again with CWM, hoping i'd work, because it allows custom led lights to work, but it didn't.
Still no reply!

*#0*# on your key pad and use the diagnostics.
The LED should flash 3 primary colours before ending.
If one of the colours isn't working, then it's a hardware issue.

have you tried getting back to stock entirely? i mean even get back to the stock recovery. plus factory reset.
and then if you still need root, you might wanna try the ExynosAbuse option, it's the cleanest.

no i haven't, when i installed the clean stock firmware (md5 file), i still had those issues. i shouldn't have installed chainfire 3d, i was too hasty, i didn't read it's official thread, which mentioned it's only for ICS. Stuck on boot, need some help

ok, so I am not a noob on rooting and such, but this one has me stumped. Have the i337 on mdl baseband. Wanted to return it to stock. I tried to Odin (v3.09) the factory tar from the samsung site, i got a failure, then it went to recovery mode saying to connect kies. I have tried kies 2.6 and 3.0, neither recognize the device. I have tried redownloading samsung firmware thinking it was corrupted and mk2 firmwares in odin, neither worked, they go immediately to fail when i try to execute Odin. I can get into download mode or the kies recovery mode, not sure what to do since it will not take odin. Any ideas?

1. Kies and Recovery mode aren't same thing. Kies never will recognize your device being in Stock Recovery Mode. Don't mix things.
2. Find the error now is difficult coz maybe you update your bootloader with the MK2 firmware (that's android 4.3 no android 4.2.2).
3. Get me the errors or one screenshot that appears in ODIN when you try to flash the MK2 firmware pls.
I'll see what I can do, it happens so fast I don't think anything updates, and it shows me no errors, just fail

1. Try other version of ODIN. I recommend you the latest one -> HERE
2. And pls.... MK2 isn't firmware for your device, it's for i337M. Don't mix things. Flash MDL again if you had that baseband and show me what errors you will have in ODIN. Good luck

Pit file
I see youre trying to flash the mk2 file but you dont have the pit file for the repartition head over here and download the mk2 pit file and then rerun it I also see that you have auto reboot checked, uncheck the auto reboot and then once iit finishes flashing and say reset unpluget you're device and pull the battery then put it back in and go into stock recovery by holding volume up power and home all at the same time and wipe data factory reset and cache partition http://d-h.st/5gz
Thanks, but that did not work either. I have never had a problem I couldn't odin out of, but I have tried everything I can think of and still nothing will work. I just want to sell the phone so I even tried the nb1 which should install no matter what bootloader I am on, and still nothing.
