Alternatives like AvantGo

Hi there!
I've been using AvantGo to sync websites and read then offline. Well that's OK, and works pretty good, but it only allows me to sync 2 MB data.
I would like to sync down the whole XDA Developers forum, and other site too, to my Storage Card.
Anyone knows any alternative offline web browser like AvantGo, to do this? That'll be very useful.
Thanks
I use iliumsoft newsbreak, a much better option. www.iliumsoft.com
Downloaded, and installed, but cannot use it, because it says:
System Error C00CE509 occured
Could you please tell me how can I add http://forum.xda-developers.com to the channels list?

Able to Sync Bookmarks?

First Not sure if this goes here or in Apps since it has to do with the browser. Well I'm running chrome on destop any way of sync'ing those bookmarks to the "chrome browser" on the G1? I know with Opera mini you can any way on Chrome? Thanks
possibly...
sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.browser/databases/browser.db "SELECT * FROM bookmarks;"
http://mgmblog.com/2009/02/06/export-an-android-sqlite-db-to-an-xml-file-on-the-sd-card/
then from chrome, import the newly created xml file
this method will require a good bit of work on your part
I'm hoping in the next revision, the android browser will sync up with your google bookmarks. http://www.google.com/bookmarks

I hope because I really don't want to have to write a whole book just for my bookmarks...
I just saw a program in Market that will sync things up fro any browser, via CSV. Can't recall the name though - give it a search.

own ftp for cloud storage

Not sure if anyone can help me out here (as its not just android related) but i´m looking for a way to use my own ftp as the storage space for syncing over the cloud. Something like dropbox but using my own ftp server. Should work on windows & android to sync music, notes, documents,...
So i need a software that:
support syncing over the cloud for android & windows with serveral different files.
Thanks
I am also looking for an app like this...
using titanium backup and media sync to backup right now in combination with drop box... Still, I prefer using a different cloud provider or a own ftp...
Is there any useful program ?
Hey,i actually found out that you can sync and backup your data using titanium media sync. Adding ftp is possible. Problem solved
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App

I can also recommend doubletwist with airsync extension, wireless sync over WiFi. With an iTunes like desktop application

Automatic Sync Content

Hi all,
I use my rooted NST most for read content I catch on Web, like blog entries, articles, etc. Currently I find the content, generate a .epub with caliber or through services like EbookGlue, upload them to my dropbox account and later, on my device, I open dropbox client, download the .epub file to the My Files directory on my SD and finally I read it.
I am looking for a way to automatic sync these dropbox files to my library, as soon as I turn on WiFi connection.
Does any one know if there's a way to do it? Or some similar aproach to do it?
Thanks in advance!

Try dropsync, it autosyncs selected dropbox folders.
Oh, thanks! I didn't knew about dropsync. I'll try it as soon as go home today and post the results!
I just keep directories on my desktop filled with books and documentation.
I sync with adbsync: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1898358
I use it on my cell phone(s) and Nook(s).
