Q what firmware did it ship with uk

Hi as title really bought last week from pcworld had Samsung game store on it and a few other bits really want the original firmware. Many thanks.

Cant downgrade anyway by the looks of it, I must of flashed one of those signed bootloaders.

cant really say to much as I updated as soon as I got mine..
but I dont really have much lag (with certain apps but that is the apps fault)
Browser seems fine though I use xscope

JJ7 does fix the Browser and also the focus on the Camera.

Whats the matter with the focus and how do i put it on my tab without messing with odin

The focus was an issue in that you have to click and hold on the screen to focus and it then only focus's on the centralized item.
With the update tapping on the screen focus's on that particular area.

how do i update to jj7? kies says that jj3 is the latest and i dont want to mess with odin

Unfortunately, if Kies says there is no upgrade your only option should you want to upgrade is with Odin.

In that case i am better off going to roto jme. What are the chances of me making my tab a brick

Regardless as to which method you choose, doing it will always carry a risk.
I bricked a Galaxy S using Kies but got it back up and running again using Odin.
Just make sure you have access to the Recovery Mode before you start.

how do you get to recovery mode? hold all 3 buttons

No, just press & hold on Volume Up then Power and hold both.
Once you see the stylish "S", release the buttons.

DXJPI update for Galaxy Tab (asia)

Just updated Kies to version 2.0.2.11071_28 and plugged my tab in. I got notified of the new DXJPI firmware update. Charging now for the update....

Wow, they're really updating the Asian ROM a lot. Any chance you could post up a download link for those of us that can't get it via Kies?
Also, CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS.zip still working for root?

Completed the update to gingerbread.dxjpi. Don't see any major changes, will play with it for a while to check.

what about the version ? 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 ?

Excited! I hope it solves the wifi issues and sometimes the tab gets laggy after a few days.

Version is still 2.3.3. Noticed that its a just a bit faster and memory management is better than before.

I was getting that same error prior the update but as of now wifi is still working good. Will also monitor this one...
Also noticed that the lag i was experiencing when switching apps is now minimal. Apps/home freezes for 2secs before, now its barely noticeable.

You know what? I just finished updating. Is it just me or the icons and text are sharper? A new driver possibly? My friend with another Tab that just updated noticed that the screen is sharper now. When reading Pulse news or Twitter updates the text and avatars are well drawn. The rendering is somewhat better. I swear, it's sharper now. Weird.

Agree. Wifi is working flawlessly now. And the lag switching between apps is no longer noticable even if lots of apps are open.

Problems with different 2.3.4 firmwares

Hi guys.i have a problem with different firmware versions.i already tried kg2,kg5 and kg7.
On all firmwares i have a problem with the buddy contact pictures.from time to time they disappear and i have to configure them again.
On kg5 and kg7 the phone is slow and unstable.
Now i'm on kg2 it runs very fast and everything is ok except the buddy pics and my messages app sometimes crashes.so does anyone know which 2.3.4 version is tze best for a unbranded german s2?i flashed with odin with root and without and even made a normal wipe and a full wipe(internal storage).

Yes its really annoying with the buddy pics.actually i use a app named contact widget.its in the market 4 free.it doesn't look as pretty as the
Samsung app.i don't think it has something to do with the firmware cause i had it on all 2.3.4 versions

Anyway which versions are you using and did you do a full wipe of your phone after flashing?

I used all versions and had the probelms on all.actually i'm running kg2.yes i wiped everything 2 times but it didn't help

Just installed KG5 and its laggy when switching between homescreens with a few icons on them..Also i cant send a full sms when typing in Greek language, i get limited by the letters i can type. Another thing is i see OXA csc from the phone and XEU in Kies..I'm kind of annoyed with this lag when switching homescreens and i am wondering is it too difficult for this dual core and 1gig ram to have that kind of lags especially when using the latest firmware..?? How can many people say this is official firmware?????

Update from 4.0.4 LRG to 4.0.4 LRK????

I recieved an update message OTA about 30min. ago,I connected my Note to Kies and it came straight up with an update,which I did.After starting everything new I looked at the phone info and saw it has changed from 4.0.4 LRG to 4.0.4 N7000XXLRK,does anyone know what the difference is between the two,LRG and LRK,had a play around and I haven´t found anything.

I have recieved one too, downloaded the update package, phone rebooted but failed to install the update....can't be bothered now to plug it into the PC and update via kies.
But I would be interested to know what this one about...why don't they just give us JB?!

so i got my s3 mini from a friend studying in dubai
phone was brand new in the box
looked legit
had all the right hardware specs and software and all packaged as expected
however
started looking at a few things in details for example the imei
there are a few websites where you can query your imei and see what output it gets
mine showed some other brand and model of phone
leading me to believe my phone is one of those cheap replicas
and yet the look and feel and performance seems legit

I am having a slight problem with the forum. I can't seem to stay logged in all the time, even if the box is ticked. From time to time I must reenter my credentials, and that is a [first world problem] I know but is there something others has experienced or is it just me?
On the side note, this occurs in latest stable Chrome, latest dev build chrome, as well as latest stable FireFox.
I never click the link to log out, I just close the tab/window. And it appears to be quite random too, that I must reenter my credentials.
Thoughts? Solutions?

why dont you just download the xda app in the market? it will keep you updated to our forum and also hassle free about that relog in issue
