It works great for me. The Nexus 4 should be able to regulate the charge, but it will have quicker battery degrade (but also charge faster).
Works great for me as well.

This is really strange
When I charge my phone and it reaches 100 I disconnect and start using it but when it reached 50 or 35%+- it shuts off??? And doesn't start without the charger connected and when I turn on the phone the battery is 0% and I am rooted on paranoid ROM using Franco latest stable kernel and already tried deleting battery stats file..any suggestions plzz?

Okay so it turns out the battery isn't empty because when the phone is off I can still turn it on but once it boots up it shows 0 battery and shuts off but I can enter recovery and I actually made 6 backups to drain the battery and it worked now am charging the phone and when it reaches 100 I will delete battery stats wish me luck

try flashing the revert kernel if you were on Franco and then try flashing the stock kernel.

Never do that, either use a USB port on a PC or use the Nexus 4 plug.
You can get the battery out by opening the back by undoing the screws on the bottom of the device.
