are you rooted and using adfree or similar ad blocker? hulu won't play if it can't load the ads. i turned off adfree, rebooted, and hulu started working again.
I am rooted. I'm not sure if I have an ad blocker but I'll look into it

Is everyone getting a lot of force closes with the XDA app? Do we know if its a honeycomb thing or something specific to the Iconia and also does it make a difference whether using the free version or premium version?
Mine is working well (xda premium)
For me the free xda app wouldn't work, so I decided to buy the tapatalk app, and it works perfectly.

Yup.
I wanted to persevere with the XDA app in support of those who put the work in to it; however I simply can't get it to function. I login and then, bam, force close.
It looks like I'll have no choice but to go the Tapatalk alternative.
It doesn't work on the Xoom either unless you stay logged out. Never had one FC while logged out. Since I mostly just read and can grab my Evo if I HAVE to post so it isn't much of an issue.

Me too. Getting FC before and after rooting iconia. Every time I want to select a thread, it FC so I decided to use the browser instead.
have lot of FC too... send report when requested
I usually get alot of force closes as well when using xda app on my Droid x, but for some reason I have not had it happen on my tab. but it is a common issue that I have had since the app was released.

I had a lot of force close issues with the free XDA app. I installed the premium version and so far no problems

Are you asking for the .apk files for those apps? Those apps are free at the Amazon AppStore, so you don't need to be rooted to get them.

What's wrong with your app store? If you can't use your AppStore, Google the apps and sideload them. I'm pretty sure they won't be hard to find since they are free.

Amazon AppStore automatically deletes those .apk files once it installes the app. Also the Marketplace does not show these apps so this is the best I can do.

You need to manually go into the SuperUser app and grant it permission. Give it a restart and try it again. After a few times it worked for me despite FCing quite a bit at first.

I actually just reloaded everything back to stock and redid kinology, seems it was a problem with using first aide fixing permissions.
