[ROM(possibly)]Testing the waters for interest

Hey guys, first off I would just like to say this: Thanks to all of you devs who make all of this possible. I have a customized version of Fresh 2.0d that I have been using and I just want to see if it would be worth posting. I want to get into the business of creating my own rom, and I feel that this would be the best way to get my feet wet with this whole thing. This IS based on Fresh 2.0d so all of the credit goes to Flipzmode and the few people that I took stuff from to make this rom unique enough. My hope is to start with this and begin learning more about the rom making aspect of android so I can soon actually contribute my own work to the community.
This will be/is based on Fresh 2.0d (thanks for the amazing rom flipz!), with some theme elements from JsChiSurfSo and Gregalous. I'm not claiming any of this as mine, It is just a compilation of these people's great work.
I have screenshots below, so check them out, and if this is a bad idea then just tell me so, and I will have a moderator close this thread and it will be gone. But if you like this idea and would like to test out my rom send me a PM and I will reply with a download link. Thanks everyone!

[Q] development porting ics to sgs+

Is there any development going for the i9001 on ics?
Saw that my old phone the ace allready has a port !

There was some weird promise about porting after new year. But nothing seems to have happened.

Problem is that there's not many devs owning the I9001.
So far, the Cranium and BroodROM are very reliable and good roms, its nice to have those too
Apart from that, YardE is working on a CM port if i'm correct o:

it's not that i am not happy with my phone and the latest cranium rom.
But it be very nice if we can run ics and it's ghraphic accelerated interface.
btw posted on the cranium site for the request of their custom rom.
In the hope they will port ics.

Need help picking ROM! (Pros and Cons-list)

Hey guys!
I'm currently on ParanoidAndroid v0.4 (or is it v0.5? I don't know). But i think I wanna try something new.
Is there a big difference between all the roms? I know there are like 10 or more different out there. It's a fuzzin' jungle! And the more i'm trying to read about it, the more confused i get. So can somebody please do a quick list of the biggest (most used) roms, and their pros and cons.
For example:
ParanoidAndroid is great cuz it lets u do tablet mode, other roms can't.
I know that's not 100% true, but you get what I mean.
You can start of by saying something like "I use **** because you can ****"

I think there is ready made thread (poll) about ROM you are using, search for that. It may better help.

My phone keeps on switching off when i lock my screen.
i have was on jellyblast.
than i even change to custom rom by odin.
still the same problem

Noob Question

Sorry for this Noob Question. I just want to ask if there is a way to upgrade samsung galaxy y camera via cwm? I found various tutorial about upgrading your camera into a better quality but i don't have a cable to use. Can anyone here tell me if there is a way? Thank you very much.

try using another camera apps from the play store and see if the CLOUDY effect still pertains..If No..try doing the factory reset or flash the stock rom. If yes..then could be some hardware defect. But before all this wipe the lens and see :silly:
