in new york need a nexus 7 before going back to holland

Hi i am in america for holydays, to be exact in manhattan. I deeply want a nexus 7 tablet and ive gone to staples best but etc to get this tablet bit its nowhere so if anybody know how to get it. I am leaving in 3 days many thanks of you help me And there will be a little reward.

Have you tried Craigslist? That's how I got mine when it was sold out. I even saved a few bucks. I

Check all the staples. Most have them in stock. I was able to pick up a 16 GB yesterday.

Yup, go to their website (http://www.staples.com/Google-Nexus-7-8GB-Tablet/product_949286), and check which store has them. Then call the ones that have them just to double check that they actually do have them. And ask them to hold it for you.

Nexus 4 - Singapore Thread

Anyone from Singapore spotted this baby in any of the shops yet?
I know it's yet to be officially released but I remember seeing the galaxy nexus in sim lim and some random neighborhood hp shop at least 3 weeks before actual release date... plan to go scout for this this weekend to try and check out the pricing for buying off the shelves here...
I'm abit skeptical of ordering electronic eqpt online....

I think we'll have to wait till December or next year january. I want the nexus 4 badly but do you know what's the suggested price of it?

I want this piece also. But here in Malaysia i know price will be marked up more than 50%. Which is kinda sh*tty. Sigh. So i plan to get it in the US via playstore and somehow delivered to my mom who is currently visiting there.

Yeah. You're the lucky one. Sigh. I don't think so i could get from playstore as planned. Since it has to be bought using a US credit card. Oh well. Just have to check the price here when its launched here. Worse comes to worst at least I'll get at least a one year warranty for that kinda markup price

That thing is obviously going to sell for more than the GNex. Might end up going for the Xperia P if the price doesn't drop.

I'm sure it will be very expensive. If Europe is anything to go by , LG will sell it with a RRP of SG$900+ (€599 in EU, even though it's only €299 in the Play store).
I think I'll be getting mine from Aussie Play store when I'm there in December. Might order 2 and sell one if I can profit from it.

You'll find some uk ones on eBay for a small mark up once they launch I'm sure. Postage might be a bit steep though!

I checked, it seems some stores in my area have the 16 gb version, but not the 32 gb. I'll stick with my amazon.com order.

Don't see why it wouldn't. Can't test online since they are "discontinued".
I just printed and read it and it says all tablets. No mention of not being allowed on the new n7. It does expire 07/28/13.
I will be trying it out this afternoon.

I just called and spoke to someone. She said the coupon will work if you order from one of the in-store kiosks.

Just checked my local staples and it wasn't in yet. The guy I talked to said they just received a large shipment but he had no idea if they were on it. I am going to swing by Walmart and hut staples later today if wm doesn't have any.

She knew I wanted one, since our 3 year old just broke my old nexus 7 about two weeks ago lol, Shes not into any of this stuff, she loves her iPhone, which is fine by me, works for her. But she knows I love all these things lol, She saw the google io/brunch with me, so she knew i was going to get one eventually. She beat me to it and im happy.

my gf works for the Samsung booth at best buy. brought home chromecast drive for me. she's like I his one cause people are going nuts for them. I told her you don't buy Google stuff just for what it does out of the box but what it does after a trip to the xda forums lol

My wife is pi$$ed at me. Not sure why, I've been saying I'm going to buy a Nexus 7 once the new ones came out. I even told her when I left Saturday night that I was going to Best Buy to get the Nexus. I think I may have even arranged the sale of my ipad mini. Maybe she's just j-ing.

Well what's almost as good is when your wife is supportive of you taking a 50 mile drive to pick up one of the only 32gb models available in my area at best buy. Before we got married, like a month into the relationship, my wife bought me an Xbox 360 with second controller and a couple of games. This was years ago but I still get surprised with nice beer purchases and a couple of instances of her "peer pressuring" me into buying various guns for myself because "you deserve it."

I have had the luckiest weekend with the new nexus 7's

So most of you really won't give a hoot but I got the new nexus 7 the Friday that it released, really liked it but after a week or so I started feeling a little underwhelmed so I put on ad on craigslist, knowing that the 32gb was in demand I decided to try push my luck and see if I could get a good smart phone in a trade with as little cash as possible.... Well Friday morning I traded the Nexus 7 and $60 for an unopened black mist 32gb galaxy S4, it was a no brained not to do, anyways yesterday I started looking at tablets again as I was missing my N7, I was trying like crazy to get stores to match office max's 20% offer but couldn't, I was gonna just buy the one 16gb that one of the store s had but I decided against and I would wait for a 32gb in a few weeks...
Well this morning I look on Craigslist again out of interest seeing if their was any decent tablets on for reasonable money, i looked in the computer section and their was a nexus 7 just listed, all it said was nexus 7 32gb for $150.... I get there expecting the 1st gen, I was gonna offer him $120 for it, out he walks of his house....its only a 2nd gen brand new sealed never touched.... I just got a brand new 32gb N7 FHD for $150!!! I didn't even make him an offer, I just took it in excitement... I am a lucky lucky guy this weekend!

I went to best buy and the sign for the nexus said 99$ so I told them to get a manager. Basically I got a brand new 16 gig for 106$ with tax cause someone had the wrong sign out. Thanks Best Buy.
