Does anyone have the Nexus Q working in the UK playing Movies. I just got mine yesterday and it plays music fine but I get "The content is not available in your country" message even for movies bought from the UK Play Movies store.

Hi all - sorry for the newb questions but I've been searching and reading and just getting myself more confused tbh.
I'm looking for some decent video to watch on my new toy in the gym, previously I had an Ipod touch so I have a few music videos from Itunes store etc which I'd like to play on the touch - is this possible ?
Also I want to watch downloaded video from BBC Iplayer - is it possible to convert either the normal downloaded video or the mobile content or does DRM not allow this ?

Hi guys, I just bought a I-mate K-Jam. I downloaded my favorite movies and shows and put them in my K-jam in mpeg4 format. Now when I try to play the videos, they seem fine for the first 8mins then the video starts to stutter and its kinda annoying to watch..I searched it already in the forums but there were no solutions...yet.

Hey everyone I am just wondering if anyone is having problems playing video on the tab. I am trying to play video that i played on my galaxy s but the wont play on the tab. I thought they could play the same amount of files types. Is there something i have to enable?

the tab and the phone have the same codecs. should play almost anything... mine plays everything i've thrown at it.
I have the same problem, my Tab won't stream the movies my EVO will, it says this video not authozied for this device

Ok so i have checked a few different file types and seems like it won't play divx but has no problem with xvid.I noticed on the bell galaxy tab box it does not say any thing about being divx certified did they remove this? The message is unsupported file type and the codex is divx v5 I know that these played on my galaxy s from bell.
I live in the uk using the same wifi.
My laptop shows all music videos but on the tablet us artists videos don't show when you search. Why?
For eg search Chris brown forever the official vid won't show.
I recent'y rented a TV show using Play Movies & TV for the first time. Unfortunately, I can't play or download the video.
When I try to play the video, I get "You're rental period has expired."
When I try to download the video, I get "Couldn't fetch license (error 0)".
I know back in July Google updated the Movies and TV app to allow rooted devices to use the app. I'm running stock 4.1.2 ROM rooted.
My phone (Razr HD MAxx) is also rooted and has no problem viewing/downloading the same title.
Are any of you able to successfully watch/download movies on your Xoom?

I had to restore an unrooted stock image in order to get it to work.
