So using Google Now to ask for the weather gives back the temperature in Fahrenheit. Anyway to change it to Celsius?

change weather units in the temperature card settings
Where is this temperature card settings you speak of?
Edit: Never mind, found it. At Google now main page, settings button bottom right, navigate to weather settings.
This also changes the weather temp for the regular Google voice search as well (which is really what I was looking to do in the first place).

It's under Settings, Google Now, Weather.
Also on the card itself, at the top right.

if you want to know the exact battery percentage go to Settings > Battery
you can always download a handy widget to display the exact battery percentage on your homescreen
Get the app called "Circle Battery Widget"
By Cedrick Depoorte
I find it useful because it has quick links to things like battery voltage and the battery use page when you press it.
I'm wondering why when I was on the stock rom, with the DPI hack at 160 or 170 DPI, [I forget which one, but the Play Store only worked correctly at a "standard" DPI, which is 160] I had the tablet UI, and when I swiped it up, it showed me the battery percentage.
But now I'm on a CM10 [paranoidAndroid] rom, and now it's not there.. what happened to it? I couldn't find any settings for it either.
I rooted the device as soon as I opened the box. And it upgraded twice. Now the system is 4.2.1.
I then added couple of new clocks showing 2 different time zones. Now I am traveling and found totally 4 clocks shows up on my lock screen and in the clock app. That's too much, even for me. But now I could not find where to remove one of them.
Anyone could help me on it? Thanks a bunch!
Remove them with long press and drag them to the 'x'?

Sorry for late reply. The network here is not very good. I found the place to reduce one clock. In the clock app, click location and uncheck those clock unwanted.
Thanks anyway.
How do I get the weather next to my clock as a widget? Anyone know? I've looked in settings and in the widget but nothing....

You just have to resize the widget to about half of the screen.
have you tried googling it?
this link works, shows weather and agends if you like, looks rather cool, they imported it to cm 10.1

Go to the chronus app and settings and enter your location. Resize afterwards if needed that's how it worked for me.

If the app supports it you need to manually set your location and not have it rely on gps. I have to imagine the problem is that the app is automatically finding your location with the gps, only problem is the the gps in the original Galaxy S is booked beyond all belief.
Question would be better suited for the Galaxy s forums and not the Nexus 4 for future reference.

My mother just bought it and i installed her chronus.apk .. everything works just fine except she cant click on clock ( and set alarm ) or she cant click on event ( open calander )
if she click on clock or events or weather.. nothings happen
Tapping on the clock has no effect for me on stock either. Works OK on CM10 though.

Does everyone have to resize other widget to 4x3 to actually see the weather ?

yes and i noticed on nexus location is wong asweel
tapping on the clock shows the clock app (timer, countdown, time zones)
providing you used this link
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2081135
taping on the weather will refresh for me
the chronus app is made for tabs so the 4x3 is larger than needed so you need to lower your dpi or increase grid size.
my location works its geolocated via network,

Go to settings->System->Clock Widget, the answer lies there.
I just got it it's charging at the moment any hints or tips for this tablet? Or any settings recommendations?

Jus run through the settings one by one and deselect anything that sounds like it might waste battery. Qslide, knock on, all nice touches but both waste that extra bit of juice and I can do without.
Enjoy
Ok thanks also what screen brightness do you have yours on?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using xda app-developers app
Dude, why are you asking us? How can we know what brightness do you like? Which settings do you need? Just explore and try everything yourself.

Sound advice. I have tried daily at 50 60 70% and full. Personally I find full brightness too bright for web browsing.
Just have a good play

A he never asked that. He asked what brightness do YOU have it on. You do know people do this all the time. Just look into monitors at Hard forums. People love to know all the settings people use. People will say they get the best battery life with.. and then post.
Ok so I have it set up using nova Launcher just like on my note 3 I'm loving the tablet so far only this that's annoying me is the bar with the touch buttons at the end, as in when I'm using apps I don't get the full screen I guess it's something I will just have to get used to.

or just root and use one of the many apps. If you install the G2 xposed framwork you can make it really small. or if you install UDN Lite you can select auto hide
Do I have to root to use one of those apps?

Yes, it has to have access the system files (for G2 xposed) so yes...
This icon with a white background and black person inside a circle appeared on my homescreen today. What app is doing this and how do I get rid of it?
Screenshot http://i.imgur.com/USGDi6M.png
Greetings, you should be able to Disable this Icon in your Phone Settings
Go to the General Tab and tap Accessibillity there Disable the Universal Touch Feature
I'd probably edit the post to say silhouette instead of something pottentially offensive to some.

Don't be silly and read it in context. Obviously doesn't mean a "'black skinned" person.
And the accessibility options for universal touch is correct as I've enabled this before.
