Did you try Purumod Darkbreeze? I didnt... But its supposed to be really fast... Has a nice theme too!
I suggest Kyrillos' ROM v9.4 (OC). I'm using it myself too. It is lagfree(fast), has (almost) no FC's.
Please let me know which ROM he chose, and tell me his experience with it, if you want to?
i would flash kyorarom. very stable and fast
I think, this is as far as this thread is going!!

Theres many rom in dev section, but most of dev build base on asia firmware dxl or ddl.. just search and read carefully plus minus and not all is perfect 100%..
USSRv5 is the best for me ) also try repencis v3.5 and creeds 3.5 D also the EVO-2

i say one thing:U.S.S.R.v5-THE BEST ROM I EVER FLASHED(MY OPINION).
GO AVENGERS+GREEEEETZ!!!
USSRv5 Along with savie or kuro kernel is the best thing ever happened to my galaxy y. Apart from nice performance , its beautiful also. And the best thing is, Evan always comes up with some really beautiful lockscreens and mods.
SAME HERE!
GO AVENGERS+GREEEEETZ!!!
I bought Galaxy Y and unfortunately there are little but noticeable lags with the stock rom. I’ve read the threads and stopped on two kernels savieSGY and MerrukTechnology. Please, recommend me which one is better /stable, rock solid and smoother/, because I can’t test it as it is used by my mother. Finally is it worth it to change from stock kernel to custom one?
