Installing Whatsapp on Nexus 7 - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Noticed nobody has asked this yet.
I've done a bit of searching and there seems to be a clunky way to do this involving an old SIM card (so Whatsapp doesn't throw a hissy fit when it has two clients connected to the same phone number) and using TitaniumBackup after rooting the device.
Is there any way to do it without rooting our Nexus 7s? As an owner of a Galaxy S2 with CM9 I have no issues rooting my device, I just wondered if there was a way to do it without?
Thanks for any help people!

Bump, also very interested!

That would be a me too...

I did NOT ROOT my N7! :victory:
(I might have if I needed to but I prefer not to!)
Here is what I did (basically)
android-hilfe.de/asus-eee-pad-transformer-prime-forum/243625-anleitung-whatsapp-auf-tablet-jetzt-auch-ohne-root
(I can't post links yet )
Its in german I know but google will translate I guess. It is for another tablet but it works.
I had to kweak the process a little bit because WhatsApp wouldn't let me use the CALL option.
I had the confirmation code send as a text message to the phone number (to another phone).
Now it works like charm! :highfive:
I am really HAPPY with my Nexus 7 now! :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

I actived it by another phone. Just find any phone got text n call function. I entered number of that phone to whatsapp on nexus 7, then take code from that phone n input it to nexus 7. It work for me.
It work with Viber n LINE too.

Required apps -
1. Whatsapp apk (must be the absolute latest from the play store - to download the apk from the play store, see http://codekiem.com/2012/02/24/apk-downloader/
[UPDATE: Step 1 - NOW, may not work and you will have to source for the apk...just request in this thread, someone will most likely put one up or there are other "locations" to consider!]
2. Appguard apk (see http://www.backes-srt.de/produkte/srt-appguard/)
Install whatsapp.apk
Install appguard.apk
Start up open/run appguard.
Select "Secure a new app"
Select "Whatsapp"
Appguard will take you through 3-steps
scan and secure application
Uninstall existing application
Install secured application
Once the process is completed, within Appguard, you'll need to change Whatsapp Permissions by removing the setting for "Phone calls - read phone status and identity"
Setting up Whatsapp
You must have gotten a 3-digit verification code from whatsapp. I got this by using a mobile phone, setting my landline as the number and got Whatsapp to call me with the 3-digit verification code.
With verification code and the phone number (my landline) ready -
Now open/run Whatsapp.
Enter the phone number (used to get the 3-digit verification code).
Select the three-dots tab to enter the code.
Enter 3-digit code.
Whah-lah! whatsapp on Nexus 7.
Additional info.
1. With my mobile phone (with a working whatsapp installation), I made a backup of the whatsapp application and data (data backup is really all that is required). From settings clear whatsapp data. Started whatsapp to register with my landline for the 3-digit verification code. Once I got the voice message, I reinstalled my mobile phone whatsapp data to reinstate my daily whatsapp installation.
2. When registering with the "new number", whatsapp will attempt to "text" the number. It'll time out and offer the option for you to be "called". You'll need to wait 1 minute to activate the request for whatsapp to call with the code.
3. With Appguard, I believe, you can install appguard then install whatsapp. Appguard will then detect the "new" application installation (whatsapp) and offer the option to set the permissions for newly detect application installations.
4. After everything is working, I'd gone on to remove Appguard and test sending and receiving with whatsapp. Whatsapp still works (I uninstalled application did not clear appguard data).
5. Not tested - Hope this is persistent after restarting the Nexus 7.

I'm assuming you want two differently whatsapp identity.
You can use your current sim but will need a different number with which whatsapp can text or call you with a 3-digit verification code (I used my landline number).
You should make a backup of the whatsapp data (I used mybackup). Then in Settings, clear whatsapp data on your HTC Desire. Open whatsapp and you'll go through the process to register a phone number (don't use your HTC phone number...use a landline number or use another sim) and have it text or call you with the 3-digit verification code.
When you've got the 3-digit verification code, you can restore your whatsapp data and you'd now have restored your HTC Desire's whatsapp data linked to your HTC Desire simcard.
Next is the Nexus 7 installation process - follow my detailed process posted to this discussion.

I had some trouble too
First of all ... Thx ultrawires for the work/help! :good:
Everything regarding the installation and preparation steps is described perfectly.
I had the same issue with Whatsapp like some others described it here. When I did hit the CALL button (after the verification via text didn't work) I got an pop up telling that I had to many times tried to get an activation code and so I can not use the voice verification and I should contact support via email ... bla bla bla
It took me a while to figure out a workaround.
What I did...
I signed up for a n online phone number (one that you can receive txt messages with!).
I had this online phone number homepage open on my laptop in front of me.
I have an old, no longer used, android phone (with a german :silly: prepaid card in it and connected to my home Wifi).
I uninstalled whatsapp (clearing data) and reinstalled Whatsapp.
I started the setup of Whatsapp on the old phone using my online phone number up to the point when you send the data the first time....
Next to me I had my Nexus 7 (prepared like described by ultrawires).
I started the setup of whatsapp on the nexus using the same voice phone number up to the point when you send the data the first time....
FIRST I started the verification process on my old phone....
THEN I received the text message with the verification code on my online phone homepage...
THEN I started the verification process on my nexus... it failed (of course)
THEN I used the three-dots tab (right bottom - took me hours to find it!!!) to enter the code.
and WhatsApp is working perfectly WITHOUT ROOTING the Nexus 7!
If you don't have an old phone I guess you can do it like ultrawires described in his Additional info. 1. by making a backup of whatsapp on your actual phone, ... do the process ... and re-install the original version.
It might even work with the CALL option on a regular working phone without having all this online phone number thing.
to sum it up:
- you need a phone to do a new WhatsApp installation on it
- you have to use a different phone number, on which you can receive calls or text messages
- prepare, install and setup Whatsapp on your tablet (nexus 7) using the code you received via phone call or text message
Hope this helps!
I haven't uninstalled AppGuard yet.
@ultrawires
Did you restore all the permissins for Whatsapp before you uninstalled AppGuard?
I know it is a little bit confusing...
But you can be sure it works ... somehow...
... and for me this makes my nexus 7 really PERFECT!
ENJOY!

I have a small question expect people to respond. Applications installed on the android phone will run in full-screen mode so install them on the Android tablet specific here is Nexus 7, the application can run in full-screen mode?

I don't think Whatsapp has been designed with Tablets in mind though I was hoping to use it when I get mine. Firstly are you sure you have got it set up correctly, I can't remember when I first set mine up on my phone but I think once I installed I had to put in the phone number I was using and then got a text message from Whatsapp on that number.
Again not sure on this next part but the Tab 10.1V doesn't have text message functionality does it? If not then I don't think it is set up correctly.
Anyway, lets assume that it is. The second issue is that Whatsapp syncs with your contacts from the phone book and the tablet doesn't have phone functionalities so won't have a phonebook.
I have a feeling that the phone version of Android 2.3 and below may store contact information in a different location to where Android 3.0 and above stores it so the app won't be able to find any of your contacts.
This is purely just guessing, you might want to shoot Whatsapp a quick message and see if that is the case or maybe do a Google search. They've had between 5-10million installs already so I'm sure there must be someone that has tried it on a Honeycomb Tab already
Thanks for your Help
I will look in to it and let you know something
Best regards

Look over at the whatsapp thread under the Xoom forum. I managed to get it working, but it won't run on the same account for 2 different devices at the same time (as Skype does), so I'm not using it.
How did you managed to do it?
I had no problems installing Whatsapp from official site, not the market, on my 10.1v after installing TB Galaxy 1.0.3 rom. I received sms validation, but never managed to add any contacts. Any hints?
Easy as a piece of cake!
Guys, actually it's very simple. I tried it myself and works.
Here's how:
Use the SIM card (mobile number) and insert into Tab 10.1 that you want your contact to see if you are online. This is also the number that you will be using to send/receive Whatsapp.
Download the latest Whatsapp here and install it on your Tab
Run Whatsapp and key in the SIM card mobile number and wait for it to verify
Wala... now you have a running Whatsapp!
Every mobile broadband card there is a number associated. If you do not know what is the number of the sim card, then take out the SIM card and plug it into a working phone, create a sms and send it to yourself and you will see a number popping up. That is the number you should key in Whatsapp.
NOTE: Because the number you are using in Whatsapp will determine who will see or will not see you online, therefore, I recommend either you inform your contacts that you have two Whatsapp running. One is on Tab while the other is on your phone. You cannot run both together using one number, but you can also circumvent if you intend to use it on your Tab rather than your phone, just use the SIM number that you are using for calls and insert into Tab to verify then take out the SIM and put back to your phone. It will still work.
It's easy and someone made it complicated. I thought so too initially!
PS: you won't be able to see your contact list as usual.
whatsapp is working correctly, BUT the contacts will only show up as numbers. and yes, im only running one instance of whatsapp.
as im reading this, do you mean that all your contacts needs to be on the SIM card and not using google contacts?

This is what official support answered me: "Sorry, tablets are not supported at this time and we have no plans to support them."

not working for me.
Try Viber, similar to whatsapp but can see all contacts. However, Viber can't seems to allow attachment of pic and clips. Anyone has ideas?
i found a way to use whatsapp with contacts, in a way.
Note my screen shot on the top half with names listed icons. (1st screenshot)
You can set whatsapp as default messaging and by pressing the friend icon, goes straight to a whatsapp conversation.
(2nd screenshot)
Note this.
You will need to keep all conversations and never delete them, otherwise you will need to get your friend to initiate a new conversation. But no big deal.
I tried everything else and this is the only way.
Hope that helped someone.
now the contacts accept whatsapp.
just set the default messaging service to what'sapp on the friend icon.
once your in contacts and press the contacts name, it shows the what's app icon as seen in the screenshot.
Works perfectly.
Update.
saving the contacts under device only makes what's app possible and only then will the icon appear under the contact.
Also. Now the contacts list can access whatsapp like it should.
Always get your friend to initiate the conversation and save it from there.
Transferring old account from the adroid phone trick does not work so this is the best way.

[Q] Can send texts but can't receive them

UPDATE: Full details on how I solved this problem can be found here.
I'm on CM6--haven't upgraded yet.
A couple of days ago, I stopped being able to receive text messages. I can send text messages and everyone gets them (confirmed).
I have Google Voice (GVoice) installed on my phone and if someone sends a text to that number, the phone pulls it down and displays it fine. However, if someone sends a text to my Sprint number, no go.
The only odd thing that I can think of that happened a couple of days ago was that I got an international text (from the UK) and I think it's since then that I've not been able to receive any texts.
I tried to uninstall Handcent and used the default Messaging app, but no luck. Anyone have any idea what might be going on?
Just as additional information, I called Sprint and they checked my MEID and said it was wrong and the phone needed to be "refreshed". Is my MEID # different from what they have because it's rooted?
Wait first try installing another rom. Or you could just upgrade to cm7,cm6 is too old. Then when you install another rom try texting again.

Thanks Jadden.
I think I know what the problem might be. More details here. Basically, My MIN on my phone doesn't match what Sprint has for my MSID. Confirmation these need to be the same found here.
I am going to install another ROM first--a stock one, and am following the steps I documented here.
Hey, this has happened to me randomly twice before, same exact situation. Didn't matter what ROM I tried, it just wouldn't work. After a while I found the solution was to clear all data settings/reactivate the phone on Sprint's network. I don't remember the exact steps since I'm on CM7, but on a sense rom, go into EPST, and find the option to clear the data settings. Once you do this, it'll say like reactivating service or something, and it'll be fixed. Let me know if it works or you need more help.
all u have 2 do is (if not on a sense rom):
1. nandroid once in recovery
2. wipe all (3x jes to be sure)
3. flash a SENSE ROM (not AOSP)
4. in settings, update profile, den update PRL
5. nandroid back to ur old ROM
if on sense rom, do JUST step 4
ur MEID will match once u do this... n everythi g will be back 2 normal

Sometimes the solution is super simple. Go to Google Voice settings, under the phones tab, click EDIT on your cell phone, then make sure the e text messages on this phone is clicked. Save. This turned off once on me for unknown reason. Drove me crazy trying to figure out why I couldn't get messages.
You need to update your PRL

For me, I had to make sure "Notifications via text message" was ticked in the Google Voice settings. This took me three different nandroid, PRL updates and reboots to figure this out.
I like using the EVO native messaging app and for some reason this option was randomly unchecked during some upgrade.
Same problem
I'm having the same problem as of a few days ago, and I don't quite understand what you did to fix it?
Any help would make me happy. I've been fighting with this for several days, I'm out of ideas.

[Q] No Text Compose In Google Voice App

I have installed the APK for GV on my mom's Fire.
Although it connects to her Google account and displays received text messages, there is no way to compose and send or even reply to text messages.
I Do not want to install a secondary text messaging app because those give you a new phone number, and her contacts would not know who was texting them. (I have however, installed and removed one of these apps to confirm that sending texts from the fire is possible).
I have seen other's post that GV is working for sending and receiving, so I assume it is possible.
1. What should I check?
2. Is there a special version of GV that I need to install? (I installed build number 0.4.2.38 from my HTC EVO).
I helped someone fix this for their REzound on IRC the other day.
Get a new phone # and resetup your account, it fixed his issues.
Not sure what the problem is.
I just installed Google Voice from the GAPPS package and logged in. I had no problems at all seeing voice messages, and when I used it to send a text it worked fine.
I just can make a phone call with it, but I can use it for SMS both sending and receiving without any issues.
The exact issue the other guy had was, he had the # a really long time, and his account was not setup correctly for some reason, so he couldn't send anything at all through the app since it didn't detect his account basically.

Ah! I've heard about this GAPPS package, but haven't looked into it yet. Maybe it contains a version of GV that is somehow different than the one I used?
Can anyone provide a link, or tell me what forum to search for it? (I'll do a search myself, but am asking just in case I fail to find it).
should I un-install the other google apps I already loaded or will they just get over written?
Thanks, btw!
Edit: As expected, I had poor luck performing a search. Could not find GAPPS on XDA. I did find links on http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com, but there are several, and the post states you need to download the correct version for your device. Which one are people having sucess with on KF?
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Gapps#Google_Apps
Use the one for CyanogenMod 7
Thanks krelvinaz. Don't mean to be a pita, but googlevoice.apk was not in with the other apk's in that zip, unless it's named something else. Looks like it contains only the basic, necessary Google apk's required for most Google services (inc. contact sync, btw, which will be a big help!).
If I ever find the correct zip, do I flash with adb, or install each apk separately?
Will send you a PM.
So I got Gapps zip, extracted the apk's, and copied them to the Fire. Several Google core apk's won't install however: GoogleBackupTransport, GoogleCalanderSyncAdaptor, GoogleContactsSyncAdaptor.
I assume I need that last one to get contacts synced with the Gmail account.
In Google Voice, the button for writing a text now appears, but when I click it, I get a force close. Must need some other core app I guess.
Does Gapps require Root? I've been going round and round with GV on the Fire. Mostly, can't get contacts to show. I was accessing GV through Opera browser. As well as Gmail. I noticed after the last Fire update they included their own mail app and that wiped out my gmail app that I side loaded and worked fine (but now can't run at all) So hoping that Gapps works without root. It is my daughters and I would hate to break it. But I'm trying to get it set up for her as much as possible without rooting, to use Google products as they were intended. As of now, a LOT of pecking from place to place, just to do simple tasks.
A little work around. I'll try to remember how I did it. Has to be done on the stock browser. Google search for Google Voice. One of the results will get you a page that shows a few large cell phones and a blue button that says "send to your phone" or something similar. And it is sending m.google.com/voice as an SMS to your phone. I selected and put in my Google Voice number. Open browser and go to Google voice. This will take you to the crippled version. (where contacts don't show up and voice seems hard to use) it will also come to the notifications bar. Go to that SMS message and click on the link in it. Here's where I can't remember what I did. But you either go to the bottom of the page and switch to "desktop" Version or "more Google products" which will give a long list of icons and respected Google services. Once I opened that link to GV, it opened the normal desktop version. It showed only one contact, me from some earlier attempts. I found a link to "all contacts" and they all showed up. I went to GV settings, (the gear) and set up preferences. In general, always use GV to place calls. Set up your number you want to use for incoming calls. I deselect voice prompt when answering and chose the other option. Sorry that it is so vague. I stayed up late to figure it out. Didn't think to keep track of my steps. I think you need to go to your pc to put contacts in. Anyway, you can use this as a phonebook that you just hit "call" and it will ring your phone and auto dial your contact. Or you can use it to text the contact. I did both without any problems. The first thing I did was bookmark the page. I also copied the link and pasted it into Opera browser. I also bookmarked that one as well.
I will try to paste the link from the kindle when my daughter is done playing games. That might work too.

I am still struggling with this GV app issue on the KF.
I continue to suspect the app is not fully functional because I cannot get one or two google apk's to install in the system/apps folder: GoogleBackupTransport, GoogleCalanderSyncAdaptor, GoogleContactsSyncAdaptor.
I have installed root explorer and believe I have set the folder to RW, but when I try to run the apk's I get an error message, or a "did not install" message (I am not with the Kindle Fire right now, so I'm going from memory).
I believe this should work because several others have posted its working on theirs.

[SOLVED] [Q] Anyone managed to get WhatsApp working on NST?

Hi,
I have rooted my Nook Simple Touch using the latest version of touchnooter and also installed the latest version of WhatsApp from Android Market. Everything went smoothly, from installation to verification of my mobile number and subsequent chatting with friends even. However, the problem is as such:
When I turn off my wifi router, thereby cutting off internet access, a pop up will appear and the exact quote is as follows: "Connection failed! This usually occurs if you have installed WhatsApp on another device with the same phone number. Please reverify your number." It then gives me the option to reverify my mobile number again. I would then have to reconnect to wifi and reverify.
Also, if I were to start WhatsApp, then switch to another app (e.g.: Opera to do web browsing), the pop up will appear after a while of using another app, but not immediately though.
Another case is if I use a task manager to kill WhatsApp, and restart it again, it will also request for me to reverify again.
Just to clarify, I have never registered my mobile number for WhatsApp on any other device except my Nook Simple Touch.
I don't mind having to reverify my number everytime I disconnect and reconnect my wifi, but I have read online that if reverification is done too many times, the WhatsApp servers might permanently block you from reverifying again. Also, if you try to reverify more than twice in a short span of time, it will ask you to wait a certain number of minutes before reverification can be done again.
Does anyone have a working solution to this problem? Anyone has a working WhatsApp on a NST that doesn't ask for reverification constantly?
Thanks a lot.
i had the same problem while ago, then i stop to using it. it would be cool to have a solution for that..

It's gotta be about IMEI.
I don't remember for sure, but AFAIR, nook generates new IMEI every time.
There is fix to make framework to return same IMEI.
Try to search Nook Color for IMEI fix.
Mali100 ported it to NST, I think...
I suspected it was the IMEI causing WhatsApp to ask for constant reverification too, but come to think of it, when WhatsApp is installed on the computer using Youwave, or on the iPod touch, somehow it doesn't happen. Computers and iPod touch do not have IMEI numbers too, but WhatsApp seems to be able to work flawlessly on them. Any idea whether the IMEI numbers generated by them are always the same number? Also, this problem happens whenever I turn on and off my wifi connection or switch to using another app for too long a time, so does it mean that the Nook randomly generates a new IMEI when I do the above actions? Thanks.

I really don’t know if it’s IMEI or not, I thought it might be.
It’s possible WhatsApp uses different methods on different platform to detect device.
If you switch to using another app for too long a time, it’s possible WhatsApp got unloaded completely.
When it starts again it got another IMEI.
If you feel to investigate further – ddms may shed some light or you can try IMEI patch.
Don’t forget to backup your nook.
Thanks to everyone! I finally got WhatsApp working perfectly on NST and WhatsApp indeed determines whether you have changed your device based on your IMEI number. The NST randomly generates a different IMEI every time it is being asked for one, causing the need to reverify constantly. The only problem now is the inability to add contacts. But a simple workaround is to get your friends to add you on WhatsApp first, then you can chat with them.
I would appreciate if anyone could teach me how to enable contacts.apk to work on NST, instead of social.apk being run whenever I hit the contacts app in my app drawer. This would allow us to add our contacts as WhatsApp friends and start a chat with them.
These are the steps I took to get WhatsApp working.
1) I downloaded the latest version of IMEI fix from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103766
I must say that it is a really neat program, a big thank you to DizzyDen for this app!
2) I enabled adbWireless on my NST.
3) I ran the !IMEIme.exe on my computer and selected "Update Device", followed by "Generate".
4) Just follow the instructions onscreen and try to reverify (hopefully for the last time...) WhatsApp after everything is done.
5) Enjoy!
wow thats nice. also try go contact ex. it shows my google contacts there and u can add contacts..
edit: i did it, worked but after reboot, it asked to reverify again. did i do it wrong or is it general behaviour?
edit2: now im sure, i got an imei but it changes instantly. i checking with android system info and whenever i open it, it shows a different imei, cant we force it to use same imei on every time?

Thanks to everyone! I finally got WhatsApp working perfectly on NST and WhatsApp indeed determines whether you have changed your device based on your IMEI number. The NST randomly generates a different IMEI every time it is being asked for one, causing the need to reverify constantly. The only problem now is the inability to add contacts. But a simple workaround is to get your friends to add you on WhatsApp first, then you can chat with them.

Nope, mine works perfectly fine with no more reverifications, even after I reboot, turn on/off my wifi or run other apps. I even installed CWM just now and my WhatsApp still remains. Yes, I think your IMEI wasn't fixed properly. To check, you can go to Android Market and search for the app "Show Me My IMEI". Install it, and when you run the app, you can constantly tap on "Show Me My IMEI!" button and see if it changes constantly with each tap. If it does, that means the IMEI fix isn't working. For mine, when I keep tapping the button, it shows me the same IMEI number over and over again, even after rebooting, killing all tasks using tasks manager and running the Show Me My IMEI app again, my IMEI still stays the same, although my IMEI is a weird 17 digit number with dashes at random places in between (ie: xx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxx).
Try running the fix again. The version of the fix I downloaded is "!IMEIme(2.1).zip". Unzip it and run the program following the steps in my previous post, and you should be able to get a fixed IMEI.
Just to add, I've tested WhatsApp functionality by going to different places in my country and logging to to different wireless hotspots and so far I have never been asked to reverify again. I am also able to chat with my friends and receive their messages just fine.
About the contacts, i've tried copying GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk to system/app and installed GO Contacts EX but I still can't get contacts to work after following one of the forum threads online.
still no luck on imeime. tried bunch of times with all different program settings. it says your devices already has an imei, it will use that etc, but its changes. i tried to clear the dalvik chace, didnt go. even i roll back my 1month old restore and tried again. the program is keep saying your device has imei. really annoying.
may i ask which firmware version do u use? maybe something about it.

[Q] Auto Forward Text Messages 3G nexus 7

Hi,
I have recently been given a work phone and don't want to carry two phones.
I would like to keep my personal number so will continue that contract. I will set my carrier setting to auto forward calls to my work phone, but I would like a way to auto-forward SMS (text) messages to my work number, or email.
I have a nexus 7 3g and this seems like a good device to use as I can then still make use of my personal phone contract's internet access.
I installed the mms.apk app (thread found else where in this forum) and can now send and receive texts from my Nexus 7. But as it is not with me every day I want an automated way to get SMS messages to another number of email.
Does anyone know of an app which will let me auto forward SMS messages to a different number or to email? I'm happy to pay for the outbound message cost, but the only app I have found which *claims* compatibility is phoneleash and it does not forward anything.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how I can accomplish this?
Thanks
T.
You could just use an app that sends texts to the tablet like Cloud SMS. Then you could turn off the notifications on the phone.

Thanks for the reply, but I think I have not been clear with my request.
I have a personal contract which my friends know the number for.
I want to keep this SIM in my tablet but forward any SMS message sent to my personal number to a work phone, so that I can just carry the work phone.
I have found Auto SMS since my last update, but this is not compatible with the nexus 7. I will see if there is a way to get this app to work.
I will update if I get any further.
T.
have you try mighty text? try that one first

Thanks for the further replies here.
I don't think mighty text will work, it seems to be a way to read and reply to texts received on your phone, but handled by a tablet or computer as the viewing device.
I need a way to auto forward SMS messages to a different number.
Regards
Tony.
Progress
OK, I installed auto SMS onto my touchpad and then used titanium backup to extract the application.
I've side loaded this onto my nexus 7 and so far my tests have been successful.
The auto forwarded text messages come through as
<0123 123123> Mr FirstName SecondName: Content of message
I can either call the originator back, or switch to a new message and reply back directly via SMS from the work phone.
Thanks
T.

I have the same problem as you, but I can't find auto SMS or extract the application (Nexus 7 is my only Android device).
Can you please share it somehow?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: in meanwhile I found and installed it, works well
