Why was my thread deleted?

It wasn't against any forum rules?

Doesn't bother me, would just like a reason for the first one... I tried to contribute and be as helpful as possible on xda the whole time I was here, but I think my time is done here... Maybe it's just the Atrix section...

Making a public post about it where probably 99% of the people reading it have no idea what thread you started, or what was deleted. Send a PM to a moderator, or check your PM inbox, unless of course you want to start an arbitrary thread just for the sake of *****ing.

if your thread was deleted then it probably didnt contribute anything useful or you posted it in the wrong section. threatening to not use the forums anymore is just as useless and isnt going to hurt anyone but yourself since this forum is free for everyone. like others suggested pm one of the mods responsible for the atrix forums and im sure there is a good reason why your thread was deleted, they dont just go around deleting random threads.

He made thread about the roms for the Atrix were "weak" and that we should get different phones...

If that's true he should delete his account. Devs put lots of time and effort in for ungrateful complainers like him to have a better android experience.

I don't fall into the dev worship crap. It is here or it isn't and the amount of time a dev puts into something is actually all on them. That's the nature of voluntering.
You thank them or you slag off and either way volunteers shouldn't expect any hero worship.

Yep. "It is here or it isn't"..... but then if Dev's just said screw it and left us high and dry with stock ROM's, he'd be *****ing about Blur, too. There's a HUGE difference between worship and appreciation. And also a big difference between worship/appreciation, and whatever the hell category he falls under.

No I'm not disappointed that jb isn't released I want to wait another 5 years for it.

I never say anything when read all these posts but not today.Im upset cos I know to make money they very fast to produce next phone,tablet ,camera? Honestly, the iphone 5 is such a joke that I don't really care about it. The 4s sort of put up an okay fight against the GS2 but I see this iphone 5 as slaughter bait. It just looks ugly and is the wrong aspect ratio for the screen shape.
I much rather compare the GS3 to the Optimus G and Lumia 920. Maybe the HTC 8x, jury is still out on that one since it was just announced. The i5 though? Um..... no thanks Apple.

Can't really compared unless you put Android and touchwiz on the i5. We all know the GS3 can make IOS 6 and the 4 inch screen resolution fly with ease. Difficult to say how the i5 would fare with a heavy android skin though.

Well see, we can actually compare it because there is cross-system compatible applications, there's games, there's benchmarks, there's a ton of interesting discussion on the architectural changes of the A6 and how its IPC compares to a A15 or even beyond, there's memory interface discussions and how A6 is a huge step forward and brings it its huge performance boost, there's discussion on power management and how Apple going with a short pipelined, low clocked design might pay off big time in terms of battery life.
But of course, such discussions have no place on XDA, because "OMG MODS PLZ LOCK haha this moron!". I actually wanted to discuss OP's post, but after seing this deep space of intellectual void and discussion levels reaching the Challenger Depth, I'd rather not to. They should rename this site to XDA-morons.

Should have one official thread discuss about this. If someone post in different thread then the topic should be locked. I'm scared to look @ my post about iphone & my s3...since most people think it is already been discussed or useless... lolz..

it's not really the Apple bashing that gets them locked....it is when someone states a pro Apple comment, instead of replying with intellect and decency and wit, people start throwing comments like "retard" and "moron" etc thereby reducing it to personal insults, which is clearly against the rules.
If and only if, these comments stop and people grow up and air some social skills, then I think you will find that the moderators will allow a fun and enjoyable debate.
Until then it's a no-hoper. Simples.
