[Q][PROBLEM] Install Touchwiz from Creed v3.5

Hi
I have problem. I want to install Creed Touchwiz from Creed v3.5. But, when i change files on system/app ant set permissions it doesn't work (says that application is not installed). How can i install it? I use HYPERION ROM :]
PS. Sorry for my bad English (still learning with google translate and you ;])

Try flashing it. Flash it via some theming zip.

So i must just pack it to rar or do zip from apk in another (harder ) way?

Take ur rom zip, open it and replace the creeds twz with the existing one. Zip it up again n sign it. Should work

With xplore file manager, u just need to push the file to the zip folder. No need of unzipping and again zipping then signing..

nope u can only do it on custom rom
try to flash miui by amal das
(but lot of bugs)
or use any other custom rom

When i installed these app
First it askes to replace ur stock app with it..
when i press install
it indicates installing..... After few seconds it shows unable to install

I think you might need deodexed stock rom but anyways you can push the file directly to the system just go into /system/app and paste it there and change permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot make sure you keep the original file in case something goes wrong you might also want to do a nandroid backup

You can't actually install it... You have to push it or flash it with a flashable.zip...

u mght get ur phone mssd
but u can do try maybe u ll succeed

I don't think it can work too.... Try flashing any other ROM's systemui... Hyperion or JBV3 perhaps??

is there a tool that can take from clockworkmod files and copy to sdcard then deodex files and move to system

I think that this is the wrong section to post this question, but anyways, I'm pretty sure it's not possible to do that.

Deodex your ROM without using pc:
Make a flashable zip of your deodexed system apps and framework!!
It works for me!!
Use the updater script to delete your .odex files and overwrite deodexed apps and frame to your system...
Voila!

you will have to make a custom rom of stock rom for it
these are the steps in brief
extract stock rom to get .rfs file
use magicIso to extract rfs file
copy system folder , boot img from stock file and meta inf of stock based custom rom
zip them together and deodex using dsixda kitchen

Dude just use the universal deodexing tool.
And then you can either push it via adb or using root browser.
Whatever u like.
I wud prefer the first one.

How to port a ROM's lidroid toggles and status bar to another ROM?

I want to port the lidroid toggles from Simplicity to USSRv7. How would I do this? I have the lidroid res, system ui, and framework res apks.

Change the file extension of lidriod-res.apk to zip
Unzip lidriod-res.zip
goto res/drawable-hdpi
Copy the toggles pngs only
Past them to your unzipped res/drawable-hdpi
zip back up and change extention back to apk
put in flashable zip and flash with system mounted

I just replaced my lidroidres.apk with the one from the ROM I wanted and it worked! Thanks though

Yes just replace lidroid-res.apk to change toggles if your rom uses lidriod in its ui
Any problems just unzip the lidroid-res.apk of the toggles you want & past them into one from your rom
