Holding Up and Down Button + Power Button

Hi all,
I was going to boot into the bootloader but accidentally held the up and down volume button plus the power button, instead of going into bootloader, the screen was all black and the LED notification light was on and it got stuck there. I had to remove the battery in order to make to run once again...is there any effect to it? Please enlighten me... Thanks...
i just tried that and it just took me to the boot loader

What can I do now? Obv there is no battery pull here...

Happened to me too. Pressing power and both vol buttons at the same time will reset or get you into bootloader screen if you keep holding the buttons.

Lol I thought I was going to be the only one to give myself a boot loop like that. Glad you fixed it though.
For reference though, it still accepts adb commands during boot loops, so you can always "adb reboot recovery" and restore through there next time. My boot loader wasn't letting me choose any options when I screwed my N7 up
Also, holding power for approximately 10 seconds will instakill the power. So thats another option

[Q] Bricked Verizon G2

I made the mistake of wiping TWRP from my phone. I did a factory reset when I booted into TWRP. I tried installing the camera app mod. I am on 4.4.2. I am currently stuck on the LG screen and the phone will not power down. I cannot boot into download mode or recovery. I have tried to research as much as I can from other threads and I cannot find any that match my issue. Do I need JTAG service to fix this?

While my phone is stuck on the LG screen (the phone will not power down) I hold the power button until it powers down, and it automatically reboots. When it reboots I hold the power button and the volume down button when the LG screen reappears and it just reboots again. Thanks for the quick reply. -Josh

Good news I just hit the right combo of keys at the right time and I got into TWRP. I will update this as I progress. I got it solved. I restored from the backup I made. Thanks again.

One plus Two Stuck in fastboot mode and cant move on!!

So i have no clue what i did but my phone first got stuck at the part where it shows the one plus logo in the middle and says "powered by android" at the bottom for seconds and it going black . But i figured out that if i hold the volume up button i can get to fastboot mode but i cant do anything else. Can someone please help me!!
Did you try installing any custom firmware, or android layer theme earlier? You might wanna try to boot into recovery and perform a factory reset. Press volume down, and hit the power button, after the Oneplus logo show, few seconds after, release the power button and keep pressing the volume down. The recovery menu will pop-up and then you can navigate to factory-data reset. Please not that doing this will wipe all your data and storage... so think it over. Let me know if this helps.

[HELP] Phone won't open the bootloader on Moto G4 Plus

I was flashing the Lineage OS 14.1.2 using the latest TWRP custom recovery. I wiped the necessary partitions excluding the internal storage and i unknowingly hit reboot while the OS was not installed. The phone restarted and got stuck on the "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted." screen. I tried to open the bootloader again by holding power down+volume down and it restarted and again got stuck at "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted." screen, any help?

Hold the power button down until the screen turns off, and at the INSTANT the screen turns off, begin holding the power button. The phone should boot into fastboot mode.
Not working

Good to know that it did work. Yeah, I meant to hold volume down.
Also, for future reference, when you force shut down the Moto G4, the first shutdown starts an autoreboot. So, you don't even need to continue holding the power button- you can release the power button after the screen turns off and just hold down the Volume Down button.
