do you have the engineering hBoot or the stock hBoot? Can you boot into a fully working ROM?
it happened to mine as well...did you flash a new kernel on it....sometimes on a rom if you flash a new kernel to lets say overclock your phone or some sort it goes into a BootLoop where the Mytouch boot screen keeps rebooting but does not go into any rom...if you can get to recovery wipe cache and try to reboot..if you cant get to recovery try getting to it through the normal Hboot (volume down +power key)..hope it helps

If you can boot completely, install ROM Manager and flash a recovery with it. If you can't boot, then you can flash a recovery using the fastboot tool from the Android SDK, but only if you have the engineering bootloader (0.85.2007)

I can't get into custom recovery

I have installed custom recovery using GooManager but i'm unable to really get in it, yes it was installed but I don't get in.
I have tried with connecting the usb cable to computer and entering fastboot commando's but everything just gets me at a black screen.
I read there are more problems with the recovery on Nexus 7, but I have followed many instructions here but still i'm not able getting in.
I used the Nexus 7 toolkit to.

You can get in to recovery using a terminal, if you are rooted.
Su
Reboot recovery
If you not rooted, boot into bootloader and then choose recovery

This also not worked, it resulted into an black screen after the Google boot logo. And when I boot into the boatloader I get the same.
Can you describe exactly what you do?
Also, what happens when you reboot while holding both top and bottom button (have it plugged into computer the whole time to avoid potential bugs). Are you able to get into fastboot then select recovery?
I have used GooManager to put recovery on it and I rooted with Nexus toolkit. I tried rebooting into recovery using GooManager and I tried with commando that was said here.
I do get into fastboot when pressing powerbutton and both vol up and down together, but when I wanna enter recovery this way it won't work and will end up a black screen.
Are you by chance connected to USB when you try to enter the recovery. Hook up and give it a try and let me know
** I reread and saw you already tried it. Was worth a shot
Yes I connected the tablet with usb but it resulted in the same and GooManager said it installed the recovery, I also got a folder off it on tablet but its empty. I also tried rebooting into recovery with Nexus 7 root toolkit v1.5.3 but after the Google logo dissapears de screen stays black and I don't see any recovery.
Are you sure you flashed the recovery? It seems it's not in there.
You can try flash it again, but don't use the toolkit. Use the command line instead.
Just make sure the recovery is made permanent.
Before you flash again, you can also check if there is a recovery img under /.

Black screen again, I see no recovery, but it goes past the the Google logo but then stays black.
It seems recovery is on it because I have flashed a kernel and made an backup but that I did using Nexus Root Toolkit. Do you think my Nexus 7 might have the backlight off when its booting in recovery? As I got the backlight bug in Android to and that is why I turned off auto brightness.

Yes i can see that Google in midle and unlocked icon and after that it turns black.
There is a stock recovery under systems on the bottom I had to rename that to .bak before I could get my recovery to work.
I think I already figured it out, recovery is installed but my Nexus 7 got the auto brightness issue to, so that is what must be happen the backlight is turned off and that must be why I can't see the recovery.
Because it works accualty. Now I don't know is it a software bug or do I got a faulty Nexus 7, i'm going contact Asus about.
EDIT
I got an replacement and now everything works fine, i also get into recovery so I guess my guess was right, the screen just went black.

??Strange Android Issues??

So I have a Mytouch 4G and its stuck in Fastboot... Okay no problem. Flashed RUU Exe still wont turn on. Flashed RUU zip still won turn on. Unlocked Bootloader and flashed recovery and ROM still no go. Everytime I turnit on it goes straight to Fastboot. Only way to turn on is in fastboot wait 30 seconds and navigate to Hboot. In Hboot go to CWM in CWM reboot system now and everything works. I just have to do those 3 steps to turn it on. Has anyone else had this problem? And is there a fix?

it sounds like it is a recovery issue or a sticking volume button on the side..(just a guess) try pushing it up and down (wiggling it) if still an issue.Try flashing a different recovery such as 4EXT instead of CWM and see if that make a difference you can find it here http://www.4ext.net/ it is just something to try in case your recovery image is corrupted be careful ! let me know if it fixes your problem

It was actually stock and never rooted when I had this issue. The recovery was stock and still had the issue. It was when I installed CWM and a ROM that I was able to get it on, but I have to do those 3 steps.
Clean your USB port, check if any of the keys (trackpad?) is stuck. If you boot to fastboot and not to HBOOT - it means the VolDown key isn't the culprit, but maybe there is a key combination that is causing boot directly to fastboot, or maybe there' something in USB (dirt caused some high impedance connection between some lines) that causes your phone to boot to fastboot.

Bootloop?

My Nexus 10 has been acting up recently...the battery seemed to be draining A LOT quicker then it normally would.....the tablet would just shutdown in the middle of doing something. Fast forward a week or two, now when I turn it on it vibrates for a second, shows the "GOOGLE" logo and starts the boot animation for 4.4, vibrates and repeats the same. I manually formatted and flashed 4.4 (fastboot flash boot ...etc...) and still am getting the same issues...Any suggestions on what to try next?
Flash the newest factory image automatically via fastboot.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Free mobile app
Just did that to no avail....same issue as before...Anything else to try?
It almost seems like it is not charging but I would assume I could still get it to boot up while connected to the charger....correct?
Update....I flashed CWM and sideloaded gapps and a ROM...and tried that...still the result..."GOOGLE" logo comes up and then a vibration...then it goes back to "charging" (the white battery with the lightning bolt through it)

Sounds like it may be a hardware issue, since flashing the factory image didn't even help. I would say trying flashing the factory image using the flash-all method, and wiping data/factory reset right after. Couldn't hurt.

You said you installed cwm -- I assume you mean the recovery rom... If I'm wrong ignore the rest.
I too have had this issue and it was not hardware. To fix this I booted into cwm (the recovery rom I use on my N10) and reinstalled a stock factory boot rom. Just for those that don't know to boot into the recovery rom, power off the tablet, then press and hold the power, volume up AND volume down simultaneously --- finally, use the volume button to scroll to the recovery menu.

If we do we can post what we did back here from all XDA users ..

I am having the same exact issues. I too force flashed stock 4.4.4 and it still does not boot up. Any ideas on how to remedy this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Hoping to hear something as well...but doesn't look good...
Can you access adb? To check logcat while it's booting (and possibly find out why it's bootlooping)?
What did you use to format the partitions?

The problem is that my tablet will reboot constantly and it shows my battery being fully drained even after charging it overnight. I'm able to force flash stock images to my tablet and this has not fixed the issue. So at the moment my nexus 10 is an expensive paperweight.

When I boot into the bootloader it acts normal.

Nexus 7 wont start up or go into recovery mode..

Was having issues with my Nexus 7(2013) this morning, rebooted the device and now it gets stuck at the "Google" loading screen.
I can get into the Fastboot loader. I was able to unlock the bootloader.. I have LOCK STATE - unlocked and the unlocked lock showing up on the "Google" boot screen.
I am UNABLE to get into Recovery mode.. either by selecting "Recovery mode" in Fastboot or holding the power and vol up buttons. It just sits on the "Google" boot screen.
I have downloaded and installed the SkipSoft Android Toolkit(mskip).. very nice toolkit BTW. But no matter what I do I'm unable to start the tablet up normally or get into a Recovery mode of any kind.
I have tried to flash TWRP. I have tried to flash the stock ROM. Nothing, still sits at the Google boot screen. Since flashing the stock ROM its been 30 min and still just says "Google".
I'm open to any ideas or anything that you can think of.
Still have TWRP and fastboot access? If so, use the command line fastboot the img using
"fastboot boot <filename>.img"
Reply back; do you get to recovery?

What that should do is wipe internal, could have some corruption there. Try doing the command line fastboot of the recovery.img again. Those are the only few things I can think of short from exercising your warranty.

Dont think I can use the warranty.. bought it used(1 hour old) from a friend for $100.. he got it and then decided he didnt like the aspect ratio. His loss, my gain. Until now.. lol
I'll keep hacking at it.. thanks again.
Anytime! You're welcome!
So the original issue I was having was that the screen was not responding to touches. Was unable to slide the unlock button on the screen.
I was able to "Boot to Custom/Stock Recovery without Permanently Flashing it" via SkipSoft Toolkit.. and had TWRP load up. But like before it was not responding to touches.
Starting to think this thing is totally borked.. =/
I'm able to get into TWRP now.. but sits on boot animation screen now. one step forward. Going to try and reload the stock ROM again and see if that helps.
That seemed to work.. at the Welcome screen.
So if anyone else runs into something like this..
Issues:
Flakey touch screen
Stuck on Google bootup screen
Eventually stuck boot loop animation
Get SkipSoft Android Toolkit, donate a couple bucks and keep flashing anything and everything you can. Sorry I can't give you a specific order that works. I would say try the 'ALLINONE'(#8) option first and then download and flash the stock ROM. I did several things in the toolkit a few times over and over. Hopefully I'm good now, if not I will update.
Have you tried reflashing recovery via fastboot?
Exact thing happend to my n4.
