Guys, i've noticed that in the latest Paranoids (v0.5) based ROMs i can't set the density of lock screen to the desired default phone mod. Also notification bar is corrupted.
Is it a bug or i'm doin' something wrong?

Have you tried changing the framework density?

Doesn't help me :-( Several reboots, manual setting (320dpi), default phone setting...still weird oversized both icons and fonts on lock screen. Also some notification icons oversized in notification bar (e.g. Avast).
I didn't have such problems with previous v.04a. Reflashing STaxxtanium (based on v5 afaik) - the same stuff.
n.b. the only wipes i do: cache and dalvik.

Hi guys/Girls, those of you keeping an eye on Zeubea's thread in the development section may have seen my post about playing with the theme chooser.
What I would like to achieve in this thread is to try and help and guide people that want to change the look of their legend using Zeubea's ICS using the built in theme chooser with HDPI themes and describe the method I used in finding a solution that works (well sort of works) PLEASE MAKE A NANDROID BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!
Intro:-
Basically the problem we have is our poor old HTC Legend uses MDPI and so far the availability of MDPI themes for CM9 is pretty limited, the one's I've seen so far are for the most part, only color changes and not really much else. Obviously CM9/AOSP/ICS is mainly targeted for HDPI XHDPI devices and support is a bit more common because these devices are newer, lets face it, HTC Legend is getting on for 2-3 years old now.
Updated 14-6 you need to be either s-off or boot 1.02 unlocked for this to work.
Begining:-(this is just an edited repost of what I posted in Zeubea's thread)
This was my first attempt at using the Theme chooser really, so had quite a few problems.
"OK, I've been having a little play with theme Chooser, there isnt much choice for legend as we have an mdpi device, but I saw a trick over on android forums to use hdpi themes on our mdpi device, however its not 100% successful.
To be fair credits go to cammycool on Android forums for the basic concept of changing the DPI.
1. Get an LCD density changer from the market,
2. Change it to 120
3. Reboot
4. Download a hdpi theme from market and try it, if it fails the system will fc, till it reverts back to stock theme I have tried 3 different ones only 1 worked which was the sense 4 trial For cm9 the other 2 are cobalt and purple kush those didn't work but they looked good till the theme reverted to stock.
Once you have successfully applied theme apparantly you can revert to standard density again of 160 yes, this does work for successfully applied themes."
If you are S-ON and NOT unlocked with hboot 1.02 you can try these to change your DPI, with thanks to homi3kh for these flashable zips
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27232786
The results from this was hap-hazard at best and applying 1 or 2 themes that didn't work ended up corrupting my phone requiring a restore.
Since those tests, I have found out that the themes that bauked the phone do not support the trebuchet launcher, they are targeted for ADW Launcher or nova or apex depending on which launcher the developer targeted the theme for, hence they actually make changes to the launcher as well and not just the system, framework and what ever.
Next Steps:-
so what I did next was to install the ADW Launcher (stand alone) from the market.
made it the default launcher by pressing the home key and telling it to be the default.
changed my lcd dpi to 120 and then rebooted.
after reboot you will notice of course everything on the screen is smaller, BTW this is also the time I realised what the problem was with the lock screen which I reported as a small bug, would seams to be the the lock screen is still set for HDPI devices as the whole lock screen can be seen properly and is cut off slightly on normal MDPI mode.
Next went to the market and downloaded all the free theme's for HDPI that looked good on the screen shots.
I applied one that was targeted for the ADW Launcher "Purple Kush" this is also one that I tried before which bauked my phone, cool it worked without FC or crash or so I thought, pressing the menu key bauked AWD Launcher and crashed my phone again, grrrrrrr
just on the off chance I decided to try a Fix permissions on ClockworkMod App (not in recovery as I don't think the ext partition is mounted and scanned, correct me if I'm wrong), rebooted, applied the "purple Kush" theme again all good, pressed the memu button wow no FC, Success I applied a HDPI theme to my MDPI legend.
Changing back to standard MDPI:-
The next step was simple goto the LCD DPI changer, change it back to the standard 160 DPI and reboot.
upon rebooting the theme had stuck and the phone so far is working without issue.......
OK so here's the proof:- Screen shots of Purple Kush on my HTC Legend using ZeuBea's ICS Beta2 with standard 160 DPI
Edit:- in screen shots my settings for battery display was set for percent and not default, if you set to default battery you get the good battery notification and not the blue cm like the screen shots.

I suggest you unlock your bootloader to get this working. Although wouldn't it already be unlocked if you were using a custom ROM with Theme Chooser to do this?

Nope, in order to change the system dpi you need write access to system folder. Or you can make changes via fast boot and pc.
Edit check first post for link to flash able zips for DPI changes.

Than no app can work for you becuase gmd's hide soft key does not modify any thing in system and build prop
let me know which rom u r using right now
btw did you tried fullscreen app in playstore it creates its own systemui bar so that you can recieve incoming call etc
yeah, I've tried any possible apps to hide the navbar in stock ROM without removing the statusbar, but no luck.
Currently I'm on CM 10.1.2, using expanded desktop feature.
I'm trying to get some samsung stock apps for CM10 too!
Hello, actually Stock Jelly Bean 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 would crash when you add the line to system/build.prop
I'm currently using JB 4.2.2 in this thread and the qemu.hq.mainkeys tweak worked :fingers-crossed:
But that's just on P3110, because I don't own the the others

Hello there
I recently seemed to have messed up my fonts somehow. Basically, whenever i change a font on my device, everything changes OK except for the clock on the status bar. The clock seems to have stuck to one font and will not change to the font you select. It used to work fine and i believe it happened to me before but somehow i managed to fix it.
My phone is rooted and i used an app called iFonts to install new fonts.
I don't know which font needs resetting (clockopia.ttf perhaps?) but i might benefit from a complete dump of the original fonts folder.
Does anybody have a clue on how to fix this issue?
Many thanks in advance
Same problem here....
I have centered clock with Xblast. The font is the "Default" of the Font changer in Settings, regardless of the choosen general font.
And the new fonts politics of Samsung stinks. I've open a thread here....But this is another topic.
Resolved!

This issue has been resolved.
I uninstalled the xposed module "Wannam xposed" which seemed to have somehow interfere with the fonts. I since updated my note 3 through Kies and a new version of Wannam Xposed came out so i tried installing it again and it seems to work ok now.
hope this helps someone.

I've solved the issue by inconscient-indirect methods. I've had to reflash the Rom cause of boot loop with a mod, and then, suddenly the problem was solved....:victory:. But I'm not too sure how it made it....
I have downloaded themes using the stock theme app and they always apply. The app gives a toast "theme applied" and exits. But even after rebooting, the new theme is not showing.. It is as if the theme app is broken or does not correctly apply themes.
The only theme that is working is the default Obsidian(magazine). And after applying any new theme, the default Obsidian still remains.
I have cleared app cache & data and even tested applying new themes with Xposed disabled but that has not worked so far.
Am on MM.
Anybody with a solution to this issue?
Have you tried FIRST apply obsidian (even if you are on obsidian), and AFTER THAT apply any other theme?
(hint from sokkoban)

Tried this again after updating to b574 rooted. Haven't tested with Xposed yet but thank you @tamaskurti :good:
