Hi,
I have rooted my phone today (woop woop what a difference) and I'm looking now for non branded firmware ICS 4.0.4.
In Original Android Development group there is I9100XWLPM (4.0.4) - Russia (SER). Do you think it work on my I9100XWLP7 (UK Three network)?
Thanks
Karl

Hi all.. thought I'd create a little thread to track where the upgrade has been rolled out to and which customisations...
please please please NO DISCUSSION IN THIS THREAD I want to keep it as clean as possible.
I will endeavour to keep the OP updated.
please post the following info, ONLY IF IT'S NOT ALREADY BEEN POSTED.
*model (eg LT15i)
*country
*brand (eg. Rogers, vodafone, t-mobile etc) this is not your network provider.. it's only applicable if your network provider has customised the software themselves prior to release.
*build number (the .145 one has started rolling our in hong kong)
Thanks!

Sorry OP, I've to clarify this.
The title says it's Android v2.3.3. Are you sure you go the official retail update?
I mean not "Flashtool" or the "Gtalk" update which will give you Android v2.3.3?
Aren't the upgrades mentioned here?
http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/
No..the specific region branding updates are highly unlikely to be listed there.
I only want official updates.
Google video talk does NOT put 2.3.3 on your phone. It fakes it.

Hi guys,
Did a search but it didn't really help so I'm going to ask here: What modems would be you recommend for an i9000 running ICS in South Australia on the Vodafone network?
I have tried JVU and am currently trying out JVT, but just wanted to know if anyone could make an informed suggestion.
Thanks in advance
SRJV1 works well here in New Zealand. I had bad battery drain on XXJVT and XXJVU using 3G (cpu stayed at 1000Mhz).
Here are the stock modems for Oceania:
PDA/Modem/CSC:
XWJVP/XXJVQ/VAUJV6/Sbl (CSC: VAU (Vodafone))
XWJVP/XXJVQ/HUTJV4/Sbl (CSC: HUT (3-Mobile))
XWJVN/XXJVQ/XSAJV5/Sbl (CSC: XSA)
XWJVN/SRJV1/OPSJV5/Sbl (CSC: OPS (Optus))
XWJVH/SRJV1/VNZJV1/Sbl (CSC: VNZ)
Based on that I'd suggest XXJVQ:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=648450&d=1310077652
Thanks for that, I will try that later today once my battery has finished charging.

Of course.. Typo, my bad. Leaves the question: as I already ran the LPQ Polish rom before (which did not give me any problems), is this usable for non-Polish phones too?

Sorry, got too excited at a new ROM
Where will the rooting kernel be available?
Doesn't appear to be anything immediatley noticably different to LP3, still has the LP3 style scrolling as far as I can tell.
Ubuntu still hates the MTP connection
chances are the styling will be the same as thats a samsung thing...probably just some small bugs fixed..i.e touchscreen lag etc
Rooted kernel added to fist post , test it please
Oryginal modem + kernel added to first post
Enjoy!
Filming on video camera still has the audio channels mixed up. Left is right, right is left when playing back
Nobody is seeding the torrent and download is going at a lovely 50Kbs..
Ill leave feedback about the ROM when I download it

outdated thread. Latest firmwares not listed.
Anyone have the VNZ(Vodafone New Zealand) stock rom.
This thread is outdated and OP never update, probably can closed already since no update.
That anyone know how can i go back to stock rom? I don't know anymore what was the stock rom but i know that after first update i had i9300XXALF5 (My phone is made in Korea) and after last update i have XXBLFB but in Kies told me that my phone DO NOT supported update via Kies. I'm from Romania and i've tried to flash my phone with the XXALE8 original from samMobile but i get error when Odin goes to MODEM. Finally I flashed with a XXALE8 stock but when I turn on the phone, errors like: (Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped, TouchWiz has stopped worked and the same with Contacts). Now i have XXBLFB but i'm not happy with him because the battery it goes to fast. Sorry my bad English. So how can I go back to stock rom???

From the stock rom thread flash via Odin .
You decide what stock rom you require if you don't know your original just guess .

I hate to be a pest and rekindle an old outdated thread, but should this thread maybe closed? I mean, i haven't tested all the files, but most of them are corrupt files...as in, you spend all this time downloading the files, and then push to the sd card, only to find that the file is corrupt and not complete.
Then when you finally find the proper thread for up to date firmwares, you have to wait an hour to download anything again because everyone seems to be using hotfile.com for some strange reason...which has a download per hour limit..........beyond frustrating!!!
cheers
