I have a Hong Kong P6810 and before I go flashing away carelessly I'm wondering for those that flashed the UK build on the HK 7.7 if they're experiencing any issues with connecting / re-connecting to Wi-fi and also battery drain.
It appears these issues are a concern with the 3G (P6800) ICS build. I'm really hoping this is an isolated problem with just the P6800s.

I've got the same p6810 from Asia, flashed to ICS with no problems. No wi-fi issues; No battery drain issues.

Of course, the DAY after I install CM9 on my P6810! My frakkin' luck!

Just installed New Zealand version for testing & it is 4.1.1 not as mentioned @ samfirmware 4.0.4, so this is clearly a typing mistake & all others Tunisia, Open Austia, etc.... should be 4.1.1.
Yes there seems to soom goof up at sammobile as no sense in samsung pushing ics roms when already have a working JB rom
Just flashed that firmware. Yes, typo mistake...

I have it installed since yesterday and it runs nice. I run the New Zeeland version and it has some carrier apps in it. There is one other LK4 firmware and thats Open Austria, the Tunisia is an ICS firmware ( LI4 ) so dont download that. Havent found anything new yet in the firmware.
Bloody newzeland, why do small countries always get update first? My girlfriend told me size matters, that's why my stuff are always huge. But Sammy doesn't appreciate them at all.

after installing this latest firmware if you install any previous firmware you won't get network, i myself have experienced this.
You cant roll back unless you keep an mg* baseband - which Involves flashing one

This confirms that the BTU ROM is not the only ROM which changes the EFS partition format. All roms released after 16 July 2013 changes the EFS partition format which can be read by new modems only.

Aaah i see, so there is no change for the last one.
Does this firmware have the extra large spacing in the multitask window/blurry Wi-FI icon as well? I think there has been a DPI porting issue with the French build.

the update is for baseband N7100XXUFND3. But I have the baseband N7100XXUFND3. Is it a problem if I flash this update and is it possible I get some problems with signal after flashing? Thanks in advance,

[ INFO/FIRMWARE ] Firmware 23.0.1.A.3.12 + Root + Recovery

Finally!!
After using 2 days of reading and learning, I`ve got the latest firmware (23.0.1.A.3.12) from Taiwan rooted and with recovery working flawless.
And when "I" is beeing mentioned, ALL credits goes to: DooMLorD, [NUT], Phil3759, bin4ry, geohot and several others!
** DOWNLOAD: hxxps://mega.co.nz/#F!Lh422LgQ!qz_DQnBKzoXVTRTwx05Clw
** BEWARE: INSTALLATION SCRIPTS ARE NOT COMPLETE, YOU GOT TO READ THE README!
Sadly, the changelog for this firmware is missing all over internet, but there is definitly some APN / Carrier update and it contains some minor bugsfixes.
The device System UI also seems to be a bit smoother.

I think this update just to fix some issues of mobile signal of Taiwan's carriers, and some bloatware. I compared files' size in both of 167 and 3.12 firmware, seem nothing is changed.
noob questions
installing this, gonna delete wipe my cell ?
how do i root it ive already installed it through ota update.

no major update, its only a small carrier update.
Has anybody successfully rooted using this? Feel like there should be a bit more fanfare.....
