Your battery is drained. This is a hard situation because the device wont allow it to charge. Maybe try a factory cable or take the battery out and bring it to a shop that will charge it (batteries plus).im not sure really what to do.this happened to me once and i ended up frying my kindle electrically.

When my battery died, I plugged it in via USB and held down the power for 10 seconds, and let it charge like that.

Indeed. The battery will charge using the Kindle supplied charger/cable when it is in the powered off state. Plug it in, when it powers on/goes into the boot look like you describe hold down the power button until it powers off. Leave it sit like that over night. You should have a fully charged battery and you can go on to the next step knowing that it isn't a battery issue.
i cant connect to the kindle fire utility or threw adb and i have CWM as my recovery is there a way to get into it with using the utility?
I had a similar problem as the OP. When my Kindle Fire with TWRP has a really dead battery it can only be recovered with the original Kindle Fire charging cable.
When the Kindle Fire's battery is very dead, the custom bootloader, this case, TeamWin's TWRP v 2.0.0 does not allow the Kindle to power down and allow the charger to do its work. I left it charging like this for three hours with no success. The device turns on for a few seconds and shuts off repeatedly. This is a fault of the bootloader--the Kindle Fire original software doesn't do this. My other Kindle Fire has the original Amazon software.
The only way I was able to recover from this problem was to plug in the charging cable that came with the Kindle Fire. It still flashed on and off a few times but eventually recovered enough battery strength to boot.
By the way I also have the AmazonBasics 2.1 amp USB charger and other chargers but none of them work. I don't consider this the fault of the hardware but a fault in the TWRP bootloader which is not allowing the device time to charge itself--it should shut down but not reboot like it apparently does now.

So, I plugged my Atrix into my computer over night and it did not charge. I noticed the the night before it only charged to 84%. now I plug into the stock wall Chaffer and nothing happens. The phone won't turn on and no lights. Not sure what to do.

Try removing the battery, plugging the charger and wait to the LED light comes on and the replace the battery.

Title says it all.
Nope. You'll need to connect to your computer to do it.

I don't believe it's possible.
the answer is simply NO
Nope. Its ridiculous yet genius of Amazon to not include a USB cable.

With what is released right now, no it is not
Yea, sorry that is a no. Have a micro USB cable around from another device or phone? The process is fairly straightforward. What are your hesitations?

Yes, it works after reboot. But it may take place again, So do you know the root cause of this issue? thanks~
Possibly just your wifi card needing to be reset by you restarting it.

Hello, thanks for taking the time to read this topic. I just got home from a camp that I was at and one of the first things I wanted to do was play with my Kindle Fire, but I noticed that when I booted it up, it would not let me use the touch screen and the battery was at 0%. I then went to charge it for the night and again, no touch screen usage and 0% remaining. It seems like it is some kind of bootloop because after it turns itself off, the Kindle turns itself on again. I am rooted and running an older version of the JandyCane ROM. When I came home and first noticed that I had this problem, I was using Hashcode's latest JellyBean ROM, 7-13. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me on this post or by pm'ing me. Thanks!
Plug it into the charger and hold down the power button until it shuts off. Then wait for a couple hours and check back on it.
thats where i would start
Thanks guys, totally worked Don't need to buy that new battery after all! Now I'll just be using Jandycane until Hashcode updates his ROM

Make sure to update your FFF bootloader to 1.4a and TWRP to 2.1 or higher if you haven't done so already.

I have a K1 that will not power up. It had been running fine and was using Kaschemmes 4.2.2 ROM for several months.
I was booting it up one night and during boot while still on the Lenova screen, there was a slight flash and the tablet went dead. . I have tried all the key combinations and have had it plugged in for a week and it still is dead.
Any ideas welcome, thanks!
+1
