Change dock icons touchwiz?

Is there anyway to remove the doc icon messaging and replace it with another? I've looked and looked not sure if it can be done. Does anyone know I don't want a different launcher.

figured out gotta be in applications and press the preferences button on left of home button.

Remember to go MenuButton>Save after you're done, otherwise it throws away your changes.
Pressing the back button will save the change as well.

This was driving me crazy today. I wanted to move Phone icon to middle so it is easier to reach one-handed, and put Camera icon on dock.
I finally found a post in the Epic 4G forum that explains the process. Works the same for Gnote. This should really be in the Gnote User Manual!
Application>Menu>Edit - drag out what you don't want, drag in what you do want - then Menu>Save to seal the deal.

XXKL7 - Change log ( non official )

I have collected changes in XXKL7 from various user posts in this forum
Please Post any other changes that you havve noticed. I can update the first post
Sorry I did not mention the name of users who posted.
KL7 changes
Ofcourse
1. More stable and fast
2. S - memo
a. 2 ( ??? ) way sync with evernote
b. Export as PDF.
3. One hand keyboard and also for dilaer setting
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20726839&postcount=11
4. Unlock is faster
swipe to unlock dialogue
5. wake up is faster
6. The word "Swipe screen to unlock" appear on lockscreen
7. New Phone Icon
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20728293&postcount=46
8.photo editor now has the last 4 pots taken captured as preview to pick like a clipboard when you launch it
9. Tourch widget -
three different light intensity
10.font in calendar (s-planner) is smaller
11. One hand option in calculator
12. No more color hue when scrolling
2 way sync s memo with evernote may be limited--seems like deletes from either side do not sync but everything else does--just fyi for the list
Calculator also inherits one-handed operation.
I'd also use this opportunity to setup their device with SamsungDive if they haven't already - features remote unlock, wipe, forwarding and a few handy gizmos in the case anything goes wrong in future.
what of the s-memo has changed? anything specific?
No more hue / colour change when scrolling on websites or this site

Add another change to the log: accumulated calendar notifications now have checkboxes for the events to be dismissed selectively or all of them at once (like SGS2). Prior to KL7 it was dismiss all or view them one by one.
another one: alphabet on the right sight of the contact list now shows up only during scrolling and disappears soon after instead of constantly being there like before

urgent help needed phone dialer contacts and s memo icon vanisded

i messed up something after installing aplication sorter and now my phone icon , contact icon and rest are missing from home screen only application shortcut is there
can anyone help me
First off, if you go to applications, can you see your dialer/phone app, contacts etc. listed?
If not, when you receive a call or make a call from shortcut in browser etc, does that open the call window or fc?

thanks for your concern , but i did a factory reset and voila got it back thank you once again
Great, glad you got it back. I did have same issue (I think) when trying a 3rd party dialer, and the only resurrection was to factory restore, but it's a pretty extreme solution.

Where is clipboard

I am saving things all the time and it always says saving too clipboard... Where is it?
Sent from my SM-N900V using xda app-developers app
When keyboard is open, long press the microphone symbol (bottom row, between SYM and spacebar). A bar with six icons will pop up. 3rd from the left (looks like a battery to me) will open up anything in clipboard. This is the only way I'm aware of but not sure if there's another way.

Thanks for pointing this out. Also if you long press on one od the items in the clipboard, it opens a contextual menu with additional options for your clips. I like the lock feature. I've always used an app called "Clipper " but I'm gonna play with Samsung's Clipboard app and see if I like it .

Thank you guys for this. I didn't know that was possible.
Is there a way to get to the clipboard if you're not using the Samsung keyboard? I am using Swype.
Thanks again.

Good question. Occasionally I'm in some text editor and I see a panel of clipboard of copied and cut text snippets, but I don't know how to recreate it.

Yeah, I've been using Clipper for about 3 years now, the best I've found so far. I like the sync feature with the PRO version because it sync's across all my android device. I like that you can create sets, I have an email set that holds all my email addresses. Very handy little app. Haven't had any problems using it with my Note 3.

How to use camera on cm11 (noob friendly)

People have been posting in the cm11 forum's that the camera won't show up,so let me show you how to fix that.
There are two ways you can do this.
1st method,
As you can see there is no camera shortcut
So go into settings and click lock screen, then there will
Be a option called camera shortcut click it, now you can launch camera from your lock screen.
2nd method.
As you can see there is no camera icon,so go to settings and click interface, now click Quick settings panel.
Underneath Static tiles is tiles and layout, press this.
Now there are a bunch of squares, press the plus, now select camera. Now when you want to use the camera just swipe down on the left and press camera and you will see a little square that can move, now press it and you can take a picture.
And that's how you use camera!
Give thanks if I helped you
