Hey guys,
I know therere should be something out there but does any one have a backup for the Verizon 4G LTE Galxy Tab 7.7 SCH-I815 ROM?
I bricked my GT 7.7 and cant find an original ROM. Can someone help me out? I would apreciate it. Seems all the ROM's I find are for the GT 7.7 P6800. I'd love to have the P6800 ROM on my tab and have the Dialer features but can find one that works wth my Model.
Can anyone help me out?
Thank You in advance.
David P.
Your probablly going to get flamed. I see you posted this question in a couple of threads.
Its right on the first page of the general section. If you are going to use XDA, you must learn to search and read.
It may take a while, but you will find what your looking for if its here.

No one has been able to find a firmware to fall back on for the i815. The thread link above has some files to help you get your tab working again, including a clockworkmod nandroid you can flash back into.
Good luck!
Thank you guys. Sorry about the double post. Couldn't delete it from here for some reason. Thanks!!

Has anyone gotten a Samsung continuum flashed yet i would like to know if there's a guide out on it. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
What are you talking about?

Getting a Samsung continuum flashed to metro pcs talk, text, web and mms. I'm going to get one and I'm not sure if its the same process as flashing an EVO. I made this thread to find out if anyone has done it yet and this will help others that probably want to do the same.
See if anything in the Flash to Cricket thread is helpful...

Thanks, but they seem to be deadlocked on what to do.
My friend asked me to root his samsung galaxy for him. He doesn't have a sim card in it and it is running 2.2 froyo. I have tons on experience rooting and ROMing my Droid x2 from Verizon and my Acer tablet but I don't know where to begin on this phone. I read the sticky and I've been researching for the past week and have still yet to even get the correct drivers. My friend needs it tommorow, and he already gave me some money to do it for him. If any one, any one at all could link me to the drivers for the phone, and how to root it (prefferebly not through adb) or if you can do it without hooking it up to the computer, I would be eternally greatful! All I need to do is get the phone rooted and get a recovery on there. Somebody please help! Thanks guys!!!

Galaxy s!!! When it boots up it says world phone too, if that makes a difference
There's a bunch of different galaxy s phones. Start by making sure you know which one it is and just reading all the stickies threads. I don't have any experience with galaxy s phones though so I might not be much help but ill do what I can.

Dude,
Get an Gingerbread Stock version of Gingerbread (see www.sammobile.com) I recommend I9000_JVZ and download-it. then flash-it. You cand find step-by step how on this forum.
After you flash it you can flash wwith odin the proper version fot CF-Root from chain fire (it should be with the same extension _JVZ or _JVT, because it is working just fine).
If you do not fing them send me your mail and I wil upload them for you. All of them.
Can you email me? Looking for some more personalized help and I need yo get this done today. [email protected]

Hey guys.. So I have never really successfully rooted a phone yet but I really need to root this Sprint Galaxy S4. I know there was an OTA update a few days ago so I am concerned that the instructions I am looking at might brick my phone. Is there anyone that could please link me to a thread that will help me successfully root this S4.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for helping me guys!! I just went ahead and Chainfire's rooting method. It was actually easier than I thought it would be. Now I have one last question for you. The whole reason I rooted my device was because I want to use my "Unlimited Data' that I get through Sprint to tether to my laptop. Which app do you guys suggest to do this?
Thanks again!! You guys/gals are awesome!!
Check in dev section. Crawjs hotspot hack. The old versions 3.0 of PDA net work great for USB tether

The new phones should already come with MF9. At the least MDL. If they don't do the update at best buy you can do it yourself. It is very easy. And rooting is a sinch..just use Auto root and there is a video tutorial by QBKing77 that is stickiedm follow directions and you can root within 5 mins.

Hey guys....
So I had a bunch of trouble rooting my phone, finally got it done.
But now.. I have come to realize that I installed a ROM for a different phone..
I have a SGH-I337M and my phone now says under model number GT-I19505G..
Everything seems to be working fine right now.. question is. Is this a problem? Did I screw up? Did I get lucky in not bricking my phone and should be more careful next time?
Thanks in advance..

Instead of asking a bunch of questions (in the wrong forum) you need to read and learn about things before you do them. You can start by reading the "pinned" threads in the general and q & a sections. Good luck.
Yes you're being very lucky for not screwing your phone. From now on make sure that you flash the right room for your phone. Read the forum us much as you can

Lol your on point right there with all of those questions. Well he might have flashed a correct working ROM just doesn't know it because it says something else than what he's use to.

Looks like you flashed an international rom. You might want to look into the galaxy s4 forums (not the att or canadian s4 forums) for more info on that rom and whether or not your gonna have issues
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
It's my perception that he has a rogers Canadian phone which is our forum. If I remember correctly, the 1337m can be flashed with some international roms and still be fine. I don't think he has the google s4. So OP I'd advise you to check out the development threads regarding the Canadian s4, but I think you're fine because the unlocked Canadian phone can be flashed with some international roms.

I just don't understand how so many ppl flash wrong Roms. This might sound harsh but if your flashing a wrong ROM then maybe this isn't for you or at least "read up". This is the reason I'm yet to flash a ROM on my gs4. I'm on MF3, I havent read up enough on using SS and the particular Roms my phone can use.
brought to you by my not so sexy GS4 MF3
