I want to make some changes in the system folders, but I am unable to mount with SuperUser. How can I fix this?

Can anyone tell me if they have gotten init.d scripts to work on boot or not with doomkernel v3. I'm trying to get link2sd or app2sd to work. Link2sd would never mount the sdcard on boot for me, and the app2sd never created a log file in the /data/sdext2 folder like it should.

/data/sdext2/ is the directory link2sd uses. Apps2sd uses the /sd-ext/ directory.

That's good to know, but doesn't tell me if anyone has gotten any startup scripts to run or not using that firmware.

Ok, I've confirmed that the scripts are running, it just isn't mounting the partition on boot.

When I try to root my phone I can't because when I click to -APPLY UPDATE FROM SD CARD- says:
E:failed to mount /sdcard (No such file or directory) E:Can't mount /sdcard
Install from sdcard complete.
I'm already installed the update.zip but says this thing again!!!!! What I have to do?
Thanks!

maybe you have the wrong update zip.

Im tried every update.zip's. And my problem its not about update.zip, about recovery mod.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
Use odin and try to flash a fresh stock rom. Then try rooting again by using zip file. Root your phone using stock recovery not cwm.

I'm already done my job with odin. I'm tried rooting again and again but it didn't worked...
Guys, I just learned my sd is not working well that's why recovery mod dont see my sd... Thank you all!
Okay I've searched and searched and trying to get a decent setup at home.
I finally downgraded to 4.1 and got CIFS working now it's there away to install apps to that mount like when you transfer apps to sdcard but instead to CIFS mount?

Hi,
I recently installed Clockworkmod-Recovery on my TF101G - but for some reason I cannot access my sdcard. When I boot into recovery it says, that /sdcard as well as /external/sdcard cannot be found.
I have CWR 6.0.1.3 installed via ROM Manager.
How can I make a backup of my rom? I would also assume I won't be able to install a new ROM either.

You can backup your rom into your internal storage. As an alternative try twrp 2.3.2.3 recovery which is more user friendly.

Here is why it wont work: [NOTICE] Don't use ROM Manager! **New to the Transformer? READ**
I would recommend using the PERI tool by Thing O Doom to install a working copy of CWM.
Go to mount storage and select mount sdcard
AW: Cannot access SDCard in CWR
Mount sdcard is not an available option. I can only mount system, data and cache.

Did you re-install CWM and NOT use ROM Manager?
AW: Cannot access SDCard in CWR
Not yet. I rooted my transformer using the 1-click guide and used ROM manager to install CWR. Next I wanted to try to install CWR from my PC using the guide I used for rooting. (I cannot access my PC currently, so I'll have to try this next week, when I'm back at home.)

Please see the link I posted about ROM Manager and the TF101, it will explain your issue.
Until you re-install CWM using another method that is proven to work, your issue will not be solved.

Please tell me how can I change permanent read-only (r/o) on my internal sdcard. I have tried root explorer but it only gave a temporary solution. My cell has root but don't know what to do
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I doubt that the entire MMC is read-only, you'd not be able to save any data at all.
Certain partitions (like /system) are probably mounted read-only.
This is all specified in init.rc
Nice info

That's the problem my entire internal mmc has turned r/o and yes I can't save or delete anything.. could you tell me how change that in init.rc

Can you get ADB working?
If not, follow the tutorials elsewhere.
Just type:
Code:
mount
Into adb and see what you have mounted and how.
try to format using a pc, usually internal memory will be mounted on a pc once you connect your phone to it
You could try to mount the SD as USB disk in Recovery... when you plug the cable to your PC it asks you to format the SD card...
